given that you can complete the quest on turn 5, and spend a total of 1 mana throughout all those turns completing the quest to get a passive hero power, this card looks like it will definitely see play.
that's true but drawing 5 cards with Subject 9 could still be a benefit for the deck since you're looking for some specific cards and this process is accelerated by him, still don't know
I see this all of these complaints about Genn & Baku in wild but I honestly don't see it. With the exception of Odd Pally I really don't see many Genn/Baku decks on wild ladder and Odd Pally counters Big Priest (which is very complained about) so I fail to see why the playstyles need a nerf.
Plus many of the Genn/Baku decks don't even see play at all. Point me in the direct of Odd Warlock, Even Mage, Odd Priest, Even Priest, Even Rogue, Even Druid, Odd Druid, Odd Shaman, Even Hunter, Odd Hunter, Even Warrior, or Even Pally. They are almost non-existent in wild.
That's 12 out of a total 18 Genn/Baku decks that see almost no play in wild. That's not indicative that the playstyle is as big of a problem as people like to suggest. Plus, these decks have to compete against Reno & Dks for the late game.
Well I looked at decent aggro cards, and found more than 30, maybe I should include some basic chargers too instead of what I have right now, but here is first try:
Anyone else notice the reference to the Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild sequel reference in Making Mummies' art?
Finely with a glowing right green magical hand near an animated mummified corpse compared with the magical green energy going into Link's right hand near an animated Gannondorf(?) corpse?
I'm disappointed with all the explorers except Elise. Finely is too similar to his former self (just upgraded). Brann summons a legendary that has been in the game since the beginning. Reno is a new version of Meteorologist. Where is the creativity? Where are the new game changing mechanics? Revealing all 4 major characters on the same day seems like a mistake also. The final reveal could have featured one of these characters. Get ready for a couple of weeks of filler commons and rares with fewer legendaries in between to break up the monotony.
I am getting a very bad feeling about this expansion. I liked the quality and creativity of legendaries in Rise of Shadows compared to what I've seen so far. The most creative thing I see so far in SoU is the druid's quest with 'Unspent Mana'. I am so glad that it was not a keyword because those tend to be under-utilized and then abandoned after their initial expansion. Speaking of keywords, Reborn seems like a disaster waiting to happen. Taking one of hearthstone's most abusive mechanics and making it a keyword will cause saltyness on a level I can't even imagine. This is the only keyword that I do not want to return ever.
Not gonna lie, when I first saw them I got that "Oh shit I just hit a huge pot hole" feeling.
I agree that Elise is the only one that shows a little bit of innovation, but she's honestly a just a better version of Hex Lord Malacrass.
I thimk revealing them all at once was a little better rather than killing the expansion hype over time, I think everyone was rubbed the wrong way when they saw the New Explorers.
Traditionally speaking, the mid-year expansion have always been sub par, well honestly all of them except for KotFT. So I could see it happening again.
And I do wish that they'd stop throwing away new mechanics or keywords. I get hat they don't want to over saturate expansions with older mechanics like they did with Discover, but I was hoping they'd build upon some of the Worgen cards more.
Title says everything, I know this is a bit early for this but I'm always a fan of Sir Finley Mrrgglton and always hated dudes on Paladin. Getting Heal, Tank Up! or Soul Tap is a dream for me for a long time and it is now possible, so I'm hyped a bit and my hype gave born of this deck. Dire Shapeshift, Poisoned Daggers or Fireblast Rank 2 could be also good for this deck in my opinion.
Anyways, it is still in progress because I'm waiting for newer reveals, let's see my deck;
Deck ID Not Found
I will appreciate all of the replacements and suggestions because I really want to play Highlander Paladin with beginning of new expansion until someone new hypes me enough. :)
By the way; Thought about adding Hakkar, the Soulflayer + Prince Liam combo to this deck but couldn't be sure enough. What do you think of that ?
This is what happens when you let gnomes and goblins get a hold of your pets, increased strength, bug half the smarts.
Forgetful is apparently the unofficial keyword on the wiki for the ogre "50% chance to attack wrong enemy" effect. Based on the device the gnomes used on Grong the Gorilla in WoW that made him really big and strong, but also took away his intellect. Only thing I could thing of related to a giant squirrel, lol.
They won't. It's just like Unstable Evolution and Echo. Same mechanic, would have really shortened up the card text, and they chose not to update it. Then they even released Witch's Brew without using Echo, which was an existing mechanic when Brew came out... Why? No one knows.
Wild Bloodstinger is a combo disrupting tool on a decently sized stick. Heavy potential to see play but it depends on the meta.
Scarlet Webweaver's Beast discount is crazy, it certainly allows a lot of combos I don't even want to think about.
Double King Krush with Faceles
Or even Oondasta into Krush, into Faceless on Krush! If only you could get 1 more mana, you could do that to destroy some big Giants on your Mage opponent's board, then cast Revenge of the Wild to bring back any of your dinos that just died!
"do you really want to silence my 2-mana 2/1 ? sure, then get my other stuff that deserves silence" type of card. I'm speaking for wild ofc. If there's a good controlock deck in standard, it's cool.
Class is not solely defined by the HP. In fact I always thought the hunter hero power would be great for control if it had better control tools. It is a constant pressure of damage that leads to less of a need for win conditions in form of cards
I like this card a lot. It forces you to build most of your deck (especially the early game) around weapons, spells, and non-beast minions. The effect won't be good enough on any beast that costs 3 or less so I don't think Tundra Rhino will be too abusive.
I mean, only Bull Dozer, Mecha'thun, Burly Shovelfist and Deathwing can survive after killing Wild Bloodstinger and killing Mecha'thun screws their combo. I guess this card is very good option for Control Hunter "if there will be one". Hunter still needs some other stuff for a viable control deck. :)
Uldum Druid Card Reveal - Hidden Oasis
given that you can complete the quest on turn 5, and spend a total of 1 mana throughout all those turns completing the quest to get a passive hero power, this card looks like it will definitely see play.
[Theorycraft] King Krush 24 damage Hunter
that's true but drawing 5 cards with Subject 9 could still be a benefit for the deck since you're looking for some specific cards and this process is accelerated by him, still don't know
[Theorycraft] King Krush 24 damage Hunter
thanks for the advices! Might consider adding subject 9 but I'm going to wait on next reveals!
Idea for Genn and Baku Nerfs

[Theorycraft] Elise Malygos/Linecracker Druid weird experiment
also if you draw too many cards you'll have a hard time emptying your hand from things that you don't want to duplicate ;-;
Aggressive singleton deck is actually not that farfetched
Well I looked at decent aggro cards, and found more than 30, maybe I should include some basic chargers too instead of what I have right now, but here is first try:

Two Uldum Card Reveals - Making Mummies (Paladin Quest) & Murmy

New Hunter Minion - Wild Bloodstinger
This card rips Omega devastator. Warrior concedes.
Sir Finley of the Sands
Guess what... i did find 30 aggro cards in Paladin: (actually I found 40, but i cut 10 not so good ones)

Here's some art, make a card! [Legacy Game]

Why wasn't the quest called "making friends" ?!?
The artwork has Sir Finley befriending mummies and the upgraded hero power is LITERALLY making more friends from friendly minions!

New Warlock Minion - Expired Merchant
Silence waster. but really
"do you really want to silence my 2-mana 2/1 ? sure, then get my other stuff that deserves silence" type of card. I'm speaking for wild ofc. If there's a good controlock deck in standard, it's cool.
Actually, like others said, it can also tutor the deck(Mostly Zoo) which has only Leeroy Jenkins, Magic Carpet or High Priestess Jeklik as most expensive cards.

The interface for the site just changed, wow!
Much nicer now, thanks. I'm thinking maybe some vertical space could still be shaved off though.
Uldum Hunter Card Reveals - Wild Bloodstinger & Scarlet Webweaver
and it's also easier to pull the combo with Master's Call and other spell generators since Faceless Manipulator is not a beast.

New Hunter Minion - Wild Bloodstinger
There is only The Beast, Bull Dozer, Burly Shovelfist, Hakkar, the Soulflayer, Mecha'thun and Deathwing which can kill this minion in standard and other Poisonous cards which will die and can't survive.

Unlimited Fire Elemental OTK (or APM Shaman)
I am trying to theorycraft a Shaman OTK deck, using Corrupt the Waters, Fire Plume Harbinger, Grumble, Worldshaker, Zola the Gorgon and Fire Elemental. Together it is possible to kill any warrior or Druid (if you can click fast enough) for 8 mana only, with only the quest completed as the setup:

The core is set, but the cards around are sub-optimal. Anyone want to help building a deck which can survive until combo completion?
