  • New Priest Spell - Radiance

It can only target your own face. So if you want to nuke yourself 5 damage be my guest.

Couldn't it also achieve the same as mind blast, given that you have effects such as Embrace the Shadow? With less mana, though you need the healing to damage activator.

It can only target your own face, not your opponent's. So no

Ah dang, I didn't read that part correctly, thanks. I should get some sleep.

  • New Priest Spell - Radiance

It is 1/6 of the Reno Jackson. I dont know why I wrote this but this is very bad. I want to see smth to resurrect, not this....

  • New Neutral Minion - High Inquisitor Whitemane

I can already feel the PTSD when I see a Big Priest using this. Like they needed more ressurects.

  • Keeping Hearthstone Unique - Class Identity Breakdown

Mage limitation is minion swarm? Shaman limitation is card generation? Are they even playing the game right now? In the current meta, it’s completely opposite of that.

  • New Neutral Minion - Barrens Stablehand

  • New Rogue Minion - Plaguebringer

I'm honestly not sure why they removed Vanish

  • New Paladin Spell - Righteousness

Imho 5 mana is a bit overcosted (the best price would be 4, see Evolving Spores). I know that in wild paladins have a lot of synergies with Divine Shield and with dudes (odd pala), but I am not really sure that they would run it in their decks. It's just too slow.

If I had to guess, I'd say the justification for having it cost one more than Evolving Spores is that the adaptation is guaranteed and, perhaps, the strongest one you can choose.

I knew someone would mention the "the effect is guaranteed" argument, but, still, is this good enough to run w/o getting a body? I can imagine an odd paladin spamming dudes and buffing them with Quartermaster, but not doing those things and casting Righteousness at the same time. I feel like that spell would be too slow in that deck and would only make their Divine Favor worse.

[edit] I think I may have expressed my thoughts falsely. Ofc I can imagine an odd paladin buffing his dudes with the Quartermaster, this is part of their deck's gameplan (:D), but the thing, which I can't imagine, is how they would manage to combo all of those things for a such heafty price over the course of two turns. I just feel like such turns would feel way too awkward for them and they would prefer more aggressive pushes.

Btw I would like to disagree with you, that the divine shield buff is the strongest a person would get. If I have a board full of small minions and I can't buff them in any other way, then I don't get much value from that divine shield. I would prefer +3 attack or windfury for a crazy amount of burst damage, but everything depends on the board state you are in.

  • New Neutral Minion - Brightwing

I knew this day would come. Heroes of the Storm has led me to despise Brightwing as a character, meaning I'll have to decide if that hatred gets in the way of my interest in Dragon cards/decks here in Hearthstone.

  • New Neutral Minion - High Inquisitor Whitemane

I really like Kel'Thuzad and this reminds me of him. Despite my hatred of Big Priest I love the idea behind resurrection effects, because I prefer to control the board via my minions. I am considering a craft of this card but will probably wait for the next expansion to drop first (so I can weigh all options).

  • [Game] Name another card that has the same...

    The Caverns Below

    Nerfed multiple times

  • Keeping Hearthstone Unique - Class Identity Breakdown

Well... don't know what to say. I won't touch topics of Priest in Standard and class balance, since both have been thoroughly discussed before.

Thematically, I'm really sad they're consistently axing more agressive and precise shadow parts of Priest. Exploring possibilities for Shadowform or cost reduction for Velen-Mindblast while having tools for control - that what was fun in those ancient metas.

To reiterate - Priest deckbuilding fun was in having potentially powerful shadow spells that could do face damage, but those spells were hard to fit in a deck. When it clicked - it felt awesome. Shadow felt awesome. And now, what they're saying spells "No more Shadow awesomeness", telling us to never expect that kind of Priest fun again in Standard.

    That how it feels.

  • New Neutral Minion - SI:7 Infiltrator

definetely the best one. not as good as [Hearthstone Card (Secret Eater) Not Found] but its in classic so whatevs

  • Arcane Devourer

Hm... would this work in Cyclone mage actually?

  • New Neutral Minion - High Inquisitor Whitemane

damn. blizz really loves 6/8 that res.

  • SI:7 Infiltrator

Secret tech in Classic in neutral slot... pretty nice. Maybe it matters sometimes.

  • Barrens Stablehand

Random beast goes from vanilla 1/1 to 8/8 Charge, so yeah too much variance for it to be consistent...

  • New Neutral Minion - Brightwing

definetely going in my dragon priest

  • New Rogue Minion - Plaguebringer

If only Rogue played multiple high tempo, 1-mana 1/1 tokens. And maybe if that was the focus of every Rogue deck in the metagame. You'd need something like that for this trash tier card to see play.

  • New Warlock Minion - Siegebreaker

like someone already said p good if ressed alongside some doomguards

  • High Inquisitor Whitemane

Very situational... and expensive on top of that...

  • Brightwing

Random legendary sucks on average though. But hey one more 3 mana dragon for dragon decks, those are rare...
