Seems...good? If you trade off one minion it's sort of like a 7 mana Corpse Raiser with better stats. If you can get back 2+ minions it seems really strong, especially if they have things like deathrattle, rush, charge, divine shield, taunt, etc.
Seems like a pretty good card. It's basically like a neutral dragon version of Messenger Raven, except the battlecry is a little worse and the dragon tag is better than the beast tag. Nothing super crazy or overpowered, but I like it.
Anyone else take guilty pleasure in watching (or making!) Animated Music Videos (AMVs)?? I thought so :D Let's share!
Poll Question: What are your favorite types of AMVs? (can choose more than one)
When you love the song! Having the song sync well with the video is nice, but even if there's only a loose connection to the lyrics/meaning of the song you'll dig it because you're looking for particular tunes.
When you love the clips! Having the video include seminal moments from one show (e.g. specific fight scenes) or numerous shows (e.g. OP female characters) is essential and then you look for best musical fit, even if the lyrics only match up superficially if at all.
When the editing is really awesome and they make shows seem even better than they actually are - music and shows included are not really important.
Kinda related to the previous one but, when they tell a story through editing and the music plays secondary significance (sometimes called Animated Story Music Videos (ASMVs)). Often(?) there's only a non-vocal (though inspiring) background track which is what I think separates it from the previous jawn.
When the clips capture a deeper meaning or a truer sentiment of the song than the lyrics alone - there's a synergy (i.e. interaction) between music, clips, and editing.
I'm sure there are tons of other reasons so please share yours below! And post any fun stories such as shows you started watching because of an AMV or songs you became a fan of because of an AMV :)
And of course, please share your favorite examples!!
Kel'Thuzad was never very good. Revenge of the Wild hasn't found a way to be very good. I think we might be at the point where we can reasonably say that these effects aren't very good.
It's not horrible in the current iteration of beast hunter b/c you have so many rush&charge beasts, which make it easier to set up and allow you to double-dip on attacks. I'd say it juuuust barely misses the cut for the standard ladder version of the deck.
your younger sister sap still plagues us, but i guess when a card that nullifies opponents turns AND helps the rogue with its degeneracy i guess vanish is indeed more problematic
I expect most of these to be pretty underwhelming, even in Arena. Of the lot I'd say the SI:7 is the best card, just a solid 5/4 for 4 with potential upside, runner up is the Siegebreaker. Th other minions are understatted and/or situational. Sure, if you see a Whitemane it's probably going to be the best pick in the bucket but it's no Lich King; if you want good value from it you need a board that you can trade into enemy minions. That brings me to Righteousness and Gift of the Wild, both of which are win-more cards. I expect them to have a low win rate and a disproportionately high played win rate, because if you do manage to land either one that's game over.
This is the only newly revealed card that has me a little bit excited. It's not terribly strong in standard but maybe with a few more cards demon-zoo will be a thing again. They were clearly already giving it a nudge in RoS.
If token druids are playing this that means they're in trouble anyways. This is a terrible buff card compared to the ones already in the meta because it can't be combined with other spells/minions. Unless you have a board left over from your previous turn AND 8 or more mana, this card doesn't do anything, whereas the cheaper buffs can at least be played alongside token generators.
If you do have a board then other buffs give more stats and damage per mana, especially when played together.
I'm thinking about buying one of the sales sets. Talk me into one or out of it.
ARGUMENT FOR ROS/RASTAKHAN BUNDLE
PRO: I am missing a bit on legendaries from Rastakhan. As for Shadows, I'd love to get Chef Nomi or Heistbaron Togwaggle. (Fel Lord B would be cool if the mechanic could be viable; I love him in single-player Heist).
CON: $20 for 800 dust, a whatever card back and meh hero art at the worst.
Also, I had pretty good luck with the RoS set in landing key legendaries, plus the HOF dust helped. And I received three legenderies in the last six Rastakhan packs I opened (one golden). Don't think the Pack Gods are that generous still.
WILD SALE ARGUMENT
PRO: The only real legendary I'd be pursuing is Mal'Ganis.
Even if I don't hit it, and if I had the worst luck, 56x40 = 2,240 dust. Enough for maybe crafting Mal'Ganis, something in standard, or better yet, the next expansion. I also don't have much of GvG and The Grand Tournament.
CON: I'm playing Big Priest or anti-BP warlock decks (which would be my main gig if I didn't run into aggro and hunters they do poorly against). And I'd hate to reacquire some crap legendaries or epics I dusted.
THE NEXT EXPANSION ARGUMENT
PRO: They had a $10 or $20 sale for extra cards if I recall from RoS. More new cards and chances for whatever spiffy legendaries and epics.
CON: One big thing is I hate aggro. If the next expansion feels like it's going more for aggro and sticky minions, I'm leaning towards just playing Heist for the year. Feel like vomiting in boredom with hunters, tree druids and murloc shaman as opponents. (I like control v. OTK or another control myself).
In terms of the actual content I'd say League of Explorers is easily the most fun of the lot. Kharazan is a bit too easy and Naxx and Blackrock especially have a few bosses that are so difficult you basically need a specific sequence of events to win, so you're just restarting over and over until your Majordomo Executus gets Mindgames-ed. Big whoop.
WRT cards, other than LoE there are only a handful that see play (Emperor T, Barnes) so you might as well craft them specifically if you're just doing it for the cards.
I found them all to be quite enjoyable; if you're looking for a break from PvP, it doesn't hurt to play singleplayer content that rewards you a bunch of cards and a couple card backs.
New Neutral Minion - High Inquisitor Whitemane
Seems...good? If you trade off one minion it's sort of like a 7 mana Corpse Raiser with better stats. If you can get back 2+ minions it seems really strong, especially if they have things like deathrattle, rush, charge, divine shield, taunt, etc.

Seems like a pretty good card. It's basically like a neutral dragon version of Messenger Raven, except the battlecry is a little worse and the dragon tag is better than the beast tag. Nothing super crazy or overpowered, but I like it.
Keeping Hearthstone Unique - Class Identity Breakdown
its one of the best atm in card generation only hagatha itselfs and card draw was never so easy with the totem far sight
10 New Hearthstone Cards Coming to the Game, New Hall of Fame Additions
So does this affect the 100g reward for completing the classic set? two extra legendaries to get now if so

I don't like her art.
She looks like a hungered undead.

Farewell Vanish you will not be missed.

Here's some art, make a card! [Legacy Game]
I thought about naming it "Imagine Dragons" but that would be too inacurate
Name this guy King Kuba and make him a 10 mana Paladin Legendary with a powerful Battlecry you would build your deck around lol
[Arena Impact] 10 New basic/classic cards
I expect most of these to be pretty underwhelming, even in Arena. Of the lot I'd say the SI:7 is the best card, just a solid 5/4 for 4 with potential upside, runner up is the Siegebreaker. Duplex Mage
It's a lot harder than I thought it would be honestly.
New Neutral Minion - High Inquisitor Whitemane
Oh wow, this card is very interesting. This will be going into my priest deck for sure.
Stone Wagon Druid
I've been having fun with this deck, thanks for sharing!

10 New Hearthstone Cards Coming to the Game, New Hall of Fame Additions
[plays Snake Eater in reverse]
Arcane Devourer
At 8 mana? I doubt it. Maybe if this were a 5 mana 2/2 or something along those lines.
New Warlock Minion - Siegebreaker
This is the only newly revealed card that has me a little bit excited. It's not terribly strong in standard but maybe with a few more cards demon-zoo will be a thing again. They were clearly already giving it a nudge in RoS.
SI:7 Infiltrator
Compare to Kezan Mystic, who steals the secret but is only a 4/3. Your call on which one is better.
New Druid Spell - Gift of the Wild
If token druids are playing this that means they're in trouble anyways. This is a terrible buff card compared to the ones already in the meta because it can't be combined with other spells/minions. Yucky win more card. Bleh/10
Fohtun-tellin 101 (feat. Madame Lazul)
Oh, i didn't had noticed you've already posted a replacement list on the guide, so i'm sorry for my dumb comment. :/
But thanks for replying! I'm gonna try Thalnos and Elysiana and see how the deck ends up performing.
Here's some art, make a card! [Legacy Game]
You don't actually draw any of the cards, but you set yourself up for the next three turns. I'm not sure how good that is *shrugs*
Make a card that summons a Dragon of some kind.

We definitely have something along these lines planned. But thanks for bringing this up, always good to see what features ppl want.

Yeah I am gutted about this.
