  • New Hunter Minion - Ara'lon

I mean it's just good. Bunch of stats, good effects.

Wildseeds really just seem to be a self-contained package that boosts any midrange strategy that doesn't rely on resurrecting beasts.

I could even see this in Big Beast Hunter if they just drop Revive Pet altogether and embrace the Wildseed fully.

  • New Druid Minion - Death Blossom Whomper

Seems really strong if you can build a good deck around it. With the Location the tempo you can gain from this could be pretty nuts.

I hope this doesn't enable the next "ramp to 6 to fuck your game" deck

  • New Neutral Minion - Sinstone Totem

We have seen neutral totems before... but rarely in actual play.  This is just ungood

  • New Demon Hunter Spell - Dispose of Evidence

Seems alright. Going -1 for a decent attack buff might not be good enough in the long run though.

I mean, what even are the payoffs for this? I guess you can recycle with Fossil Fanatic or get more tempo on your Vanguard, but all things considered this isn't nearly comparable to pre-nerf Twin Slice.

  • Murder at Castle Nathria

So it's looking like deathrattle druid might be the main theme for the mini set, for a class with multiple deathrattle support cards this set they only got one class deathrattle and its a massive legendary

  • New Neutral Minion - Dredger Staff

Super good!  I like that this will hit ALL minions in your hand.  Will probably be auto-include in Odd DH or any other mini-minion builds.

  • New Neutral Minion - Roosting Gargoyle

I"ve never been a fan of battlecry specific tribe buffs.  I can see it in Arena with Hunters, but that's pretty much it

  • New Neutral Minion - Anonymous Informant

I really like this because it flows really well from turn to turn instead of this turn only which would make it less impressive

  • The Countess is a New Legendary Paladin Card Revealed for Murder at Castle Nathria by Masaru

Can still put neutrals in your deck if you plan to use this as a finisher once you've drawn all your neutrals. No idea of the viability of such an archetype but technically don't need a pure deck - like how some duplicate decks played zeph.

  • New Neutral Minion - Dinner Performer

Pretty situational unless you are running a good amount of deathrattle minions that can help you at low cost like Loot Hoarder

  • New Neutral Minion - Creepy Painting

You would really need to set up this minion.  If you were able to get Stoneborn General into play or Scrapyard Colossus or remarkably a colossal minion to die when this thing is in play... then it's great.  But that requires a LOT to do it.

  • New Demon Hunter Spell - Sinful Brand

I feel like there is some decent ways to abuse this, As long as you need two hits to kill a minion this is basically 1-mana deal 4 to face, which is pretty good in a class that's all about that.

I wonder if there's some way to really combo this (only Immolation Aura in Wild thus far)

  • New Neutral Minion - Scuttlebutt Ghoul

Eh... Secret Mage couldn't care less about this, at least in wild.  With standard I don't see a lot of people playing it.

Paladin could use it since it summon taunters and they love to handbuff.

Rogue MAY use it, but I'm not sure why other than to be more defensive to build up a combo swing.

Hunter on the other hand I can see utilizing this since it will help them to protect their beasts they want on the board.  But that is my impression.

  • New Neutral Minion - Murlocula

I want to love this minion for like ever.  Murloc decks are rampant, and gladly are not pigeon holed in only Paladin and Shaman.  The idea of this thing coming out for free and with Lushwater Scout giving it Rush and +1 attack is amazing... I seriously love it already

  • Murder at Castle Nathria Final Card Reveals - See All 35 New Cards

    Okay, here's a few comments on the new cards, and the full set in general;

    - Secret mage is looking possible. One of the chief problems I have with the archetype in standard is the loss of Kirin Tor Mage, and team5 just went up and print another one in anonymous informant. So it is then possible to just play a secret along with orion for some value.

    - Dude pally on the other hand looks weak as shit. In fact either team5 is planning for something in the midset or the idea really is for steward to simply upgrade your hp. There's only one way to flood board with dudes, an emphasis on growing one instead of multiple dudes, and the fact that the support cards for it are weak as hell.

    - Totem shaman might be possible, but Im not holding my breath. Both Gigantotem and Carving Chisel are really good cards, but totems themselves are relatively weak until The Stonewright is played. And with no way to tutor it, and no way to snowball like Totemic Reflection, its looking too slow to go against aggro decks and most control can easily deal with the multiple 0 attack totems. It needs a card that increases the likelihood of the totems actually surviving, and a decent comeback mechanism. Midset perhaps?

    - Warrior has some neat cards. Will this support the damaged archetype? Perhaps not. But I can see some form of rush/taunt midrange warrior coming

    - Creepy Painting has the potential to be the standout card in this expansion. This copies even enemy minions.

    - Thief priest looking like its ready to ensure no one in hearthstone is having any fun

    - Some form of aggro dhunter might be on the cards. Alot of good cheap cards this time round. Sadly, I think everyone would just be playing control relic dhunter instead.

In terms of which class got the best stuff this expansion. Probably dhunter, followed by hunter and then druid. Shaman has a few good cards, priest has support for thief, secret rogue is shit but the others are fairly good, warrior needs testing, paladin is all over the place, warlock has imps and one really powerful card but otherwise meh.

Dhunter is the only class in my opinion where there's few to no bad cards. The archetype can suck, but it looks functional.

  • New Neutral Minion - Stoneborn Accuser

Solid, but not an autoinclude.  I can see this making it's way into DH, Hunter, perhaps some low cost minion decks.  5 for 5/5 is meh, but smack someone in the face for 5, that is worth looking into.  Even Shadow Priest could run with this

  • New Neutral Minion - Masked Reveler

Icky... Who would run this  I know there has to be something out there that will make this fun, but I'll be damned if I can see it right now

  • New Neutral Minion - Stoneborn General

We can all see the deathrattle manipulators (Priest and Rogue, looking at you) really abusing this nasty sucker.  Even in Paladin with Cavalry Horn this would really suck for your opponent if they don't have an answer for it.  That's potentially 16 damage to your side of the board on minions you probably don't want to lose.

  • New Neutral Minion - Muck Plumber

This kind of disruption is probably the weakest. It feels like 1 star because the only time you'll ever see it is when it pops up randomly.

  • New Neutral Minion - Crooked Cook

Shadow Priest could benefit from that.  I've gassed out with the deck so much that it hurts.

  • New Neutral Minion - Masked Reveler

Obvious deathrattle fodder, but it's so expensive! I can't give it more than 2 stars unless they drop that price tag.

  • New Neutral Minion - Invitation Courier

How will this work with Maestra of the Masquerade?  If you drop this T2/3, and hope it doesn't die... will you be able to bump up your hand with it?

  • New Neutral Minion - Steamcleaner

I love it.  Take that thief!

  • New Neutral Minion - Stoneborn General

Great for both deathrattle and big-minion archetypes alike. Yes 10 mana seems like a lot, but there have been quite a few 10-mana cards that worked just fine, even in classes other than Druid. The thing they have in common is immediate board impact, and this guy has it twice. I think it's bound to see some play in competitive decks, so 4 stars.

  • New Neutral Minion - Party Crasher

I want to play this solely because there is a Barbarian ability in Pathfinder that lets you use another PC as an improvised weapon causing damage to both your target and whomever you used to bludgeon them with.  Who knows... maybe you will get a Loot Hoarder tossed at their Colossus of the Moon.  Then again, you could get Ozumat and just wipe their board.
