  • New Warrior Minion - Anima Extractor

This could be ridiculous on curve. It's basically Armor Smith but instead of healing you it just scales your threats, that has to count for something.

  • New Warrior Minion - Crazed Wretch

Yeah this is good. It's burn for Warrior which is great because they can buff it in several ways and have a location to back it up. Don't underestimate burn damage

  • New Warrior Weapon - Imbued Axe

If you can reliably infuse this it's actually nuts.

What if we ran the Quest just to tutor this to infuse it and then play a more classic tempo approach that doesn't entirely rely on the Quest to win?

Either way, with any other weapon tutor this is still a consideration. We're talking +6/+6 stats total and you can get two procs for no cost.

  • New Warrior Spell - Conqueror's Banner

    Lmao, Joust.

Still terrible, don't even bother. We have Forged in Flames, we don't need this at all.

  • New Warrior Minion - Suspicious Pirate

Not even Pirate Warrior would run this because they just have no use for the weapon. What's the point of this?

  • New Warrior Spell - Riot!

Isn't this kind of bonkers? Just two mana for omni-rush with built-in protection. That's a big swing if you can set it up properly.

  • New Warlock Spell - Suffocating Shadows

Really hoping for some actual discard support next expanions. This is underwhelming otherwise. Deadly Shot for free is still just Deadly shot.

  • New Shaman Spell - Criminal Lineup

So....you can easily discount Big Totem and NAga Giant and make a fat board with this...but would that even be enough these days? 8-mana is a lot and SHaman doesn't have mana cheating for spells (outside of Far Sight)

  • New Shaman Minion - Crud Caretaker

Why is this a class card? Yeah sure, you combo it with Muck Pools and get happy or you do some Bolner stuff, but overall this is just lame and a waste of a card slot for Shaman.

  • All Card Flavor Text for the Murder at Castle Nathria Hearthstone Expansion

The flavor text for Muck Plumber made me spit out my coffee.  youtu.be/udz8Pk0oRng

  • New Shaman Weapon - Carving Chisel

Pretty sure this is just good at its base. It's not super good for tempo but just spamming tokens can be quite valuable. Maybe Bloodlust Shaman with a minor token package works out. Also good with Evolves.

  • New Shaman Minion - Gigantotem

I love it on paper, but my god the support for its is poopy.

Unless we get a Stonewright tutor Totem shaman is garbage.

  • New Rogue Spell - Serrated Bone Spike

This can be used with Prep to turn it into LIghtning Bloom. That's scary.

  • New Rogue Spell - Double Cross

Basicaly Cheap Tricks except better early and worse later. Nothing more nothing less. I guess Secret Rogue needs the draw.

  • Murder at Castle Nathria Final Card Reveals - See All 35 New Cards

I was never less excited for a new expansion.

I play Standard, Wild and some Classic. Yeah the power creep will for sure change something in Standard, but for Wild I can`t see "really interesting" cards so far. But certainly there will be new combo enabler somewhere which will ruin Wild for the first few weeks...

  • New Priest Spell - The Light! It Burns!

Basically a better SW:D in a lot of cases but fairly useless against a good deal of other cards

No idea what deck would even want this outside of maybe Boar Priest.

  • New Priest Spell - Identity Theft

Thoughtsteal but more expensive and more reliable.

IDK how good it is but it could be fun.

  • New Priest Minion - Partner in Crime

    Reverse powercreep Echoing Ooze?

I mean, I have to say, There's way more support for this than there was during OOze's time but I'm still not sure MIracle Priest has  a future (although combining this with PW:Fortitude sounds juicy as fuck)

  • New Priest Minion - Mysterious Visitor

How does this work exactly? Cards in hand? Cards generally? Cards forever?

Doubt this is good enough, Thief Priest doesn't have the same benefits that Maestra Rogue does.

  • New Paladin Spell - Service Bell

3-mana draw 2..most of the time? Is there a way for Paladin to shuffle cards? Are there any cards that want to be shuffled?

I don't see why this needs to cost 3 tbh. Maybe there's some whacky build that runs only specific class cards and wants to tutor them, but other than that I don't see this being good.

  • New Paladin Spell - Divine Toll

Seems to expensive to matter tbh. Great when you're ahead on the board and decent if you're far behind, but too unpredictable if you're just even and that's going to happen most of the time.

Why spend 7-mana to give a minion +10/10 if you can do just that for 0-mana with Garden's Grace.

  • New Paladin Minion - The Countess

As if it wasn't enough that Rogue impersonates everyone, now Paladin impersonates Rogue.

It's a decent card but honestly it's just not good enough to beat out Cariel + Smite as a finisher. Random legendaries are fun but a lot of them rely on synergy to do anything. I mean think about what this does when you get Topior, or Lady Darkvein....just nothing.

I want Pure PAladin to be a thing again, but this just won't do I think. You can't even run it with Brann or ZOlaa because they're neutrals.

Oh and don't ccome with the "you can run neutrals and just draw them before this". Paladin doesn't have enough draw to make that a viable strategy. You want to play this on 7 and start to pressure with free legendaries. Unless there's a way to tutor Smite or Kazakusan this is just a pipe dream.

  • Hearthstone Designers Cora Georgiou and Leo Robles Clarify How Rogue's Kidnap Secret Works

If your job is to communicate clearly and you don't do that job, but you produce a beautiful painting, you may be a good painter, but you're a crap communicator and didn't do your job. It isn't creative that they did their job badly; they may have been creative doing something other than their job (I don't agree, but ymmv) but still, the job didn't get done.

The card literally doesn't explain itself and is so ambiguous that the designers had to give it a FAQ before it's even released. Its entire outcome is "surprising and unprecedented" because no one knew even remotely what it must do just from card text. The fact that you guessed it correctly is of no moment -- good for you I guess? I've guessed HS cards correctly and that doesn't make ambiguity better. Further, the point here is that this card and cards like it don't solve their issues with mouseover text. Ysera is a bizarre example to use because people criticized that card even in beta and still do, so you're undermining your own case, and people have been satisfied with Hero cards that use mouseover text appropriately, so the job can be done correctly. HS has done better in the past and is now commiting to doing worst going forward.

  • New Mage Minion - Chatty Bartender

Honestly really powerful. A continuous Consecration that also gets protected by the Secrets that fuel it is really powerful, especially now that we also have the Neutral Secret cheater that allows for better combos.

I could see Secret Mage being a thing, activating this on curve shouldn't be a problem and it can straight up lock out certain strategies.

  • New Hunter Spell - Collateral Damage

What a fun new Rogue card.

Seriously, there's no way any Hunter deck would want this unless they can somehow cheat it out. Unless you randomly generate this it won't see play.

That being said, if your opponent has only 1/1s that's 15 damage face
