It took me a minute to realize what did this card actually do, i kept reading it as that it shuffles only cards that already cost 1 to your deck and was very confused why is that a thing :D
Wild might definitely get a real contender for a Discard Warlock with this card for sure. Standard might need more pieces.
Cool design hopefully this isn't going to be an Archetype for DH, Warlock already has a failed Discard Archetype. Great stats. Only weakness is silence or Polymorph.
Why isn't this a Warlock card? Instead they get Imp synergy lmao. Though it would probably be busted in Wild
After thinking about this card for wild even further, I think I'm gonna have a brain aneurysm.
This is so broken in Mecha'tun Warlock. Either you drop Malchezaar's Imp or play this while Hand of Gul'dan is in your hand and you will immediatly refill your hand.
The reason why this is broken in Mecha'tun Warlock is good ol' cost reduction and card draw. Having 1 mana Hand of Gul'dan, Backfire, and Dreadlich Tamsin makes it so much easier to empty your deck AND they can be further discounted into 0 mana with Runed Mithril Rod. And also, 1 mana Mecha'tun means that you don't even have to play Shadow Hunter Vol'jin.
Google Lens translates it as "In each turn, for every three minions you play, the third minion costs (0) mana.", which is a roundabout way of saying the effect we wrote on the card. We'll just have to wait and see.
Going to reply to myself here in case this info isn't accurate: the editor, above, is apparently wrong and I'm hearing reports that the card text isn't accurate and that the reduction-to-zero only happens once per turn, which is still broken but far less bad. It still lets you put out a 10-drop 1-4 turns early at the price of playing with an undestatted tempo-dead neutral.
If the report is wrong and he can be used indefinitely, no further analysis is needed and my comment towards Team 5 above holds.
Barring that, once again, this is Druid unfairness as Druid loses nothing by putting this into a pre-existing deck with Neptulon and Onyxia. Few other class can afford the bizarre mix of cheap and expensive minions (note that cheap Druid minions are some of the most cost-effective around) with the same efficacy. Hunter comes close with Beast Hunter dropping 7 to 9s alongside some early-game minions. Priest might be able to do this, but without a victory condition, Priest is just really involving trash. (I can't see how this would really help Quest, it is meaningless in Naga Priest, and I see no potential in the nascent generic buff Priest that seems to be forming here.) Priest has a zero-cost minion but that loses synergy unless you've played a lot of spells that turn already, increasing the mana requirement.
Control Warrior can't do it consistently because it only has like one or two cheap minions (Sir Finley, Sea Guide, Brann Bronzebeard, and Amalgam of the Deep) and it doesn't want to waste the combo/utility of any of those cards on this just to get an early Onyxia. An early Kazakusan might be worth, but is that absurd gamble worth the card slot this takes up?
This looks like it needs a new deck in Standard, like a big Paladin with a spread of minion costs. Even then, I'm not sure it's worth it unless the minion cheated out wins the game or at least locks out the opponent. Only winner there seems to be Sire Denathrius after a Brann Bronzebeard on turn 9. How are you consistently fattening Denathrius up and getting it into your hand early is a question that would need answering. Taelan Fordring gets you partially there.
Skeleton Mage with no tutors but a ton of draw? Wait, they revealed Dispossessed Soul. Mage and Demon Hunter may be able to get enough weenies out there to make this work. Shaman has more expensive weenies but better Battlecry synergies so you can try again if it doesn't pop off.
Wild is turbof!#$ed. Look at how Team 5 treats you Wild players. Why haven't you broken up with them already?
I heard some people say that the effect translates to "The third minion you play each turn costs 0". This would mean that the effect can only trigger once each turn and that he counts himself.
Its probably more cancerous in wild than it would be in standard, because there really isn't alot of minion win cons that would be worth it and far as I know there's no easy way to discount this card neither.
But as usual, mana cheats of this proportion will at some point see play, perhaps even tier 1. And then as usual it would just get nerfed to the ground.
... what? This makes... 0 sense. The only possible scenario is they're about to give warlock some insane card draw option or discard synergy. Yeah yeah it's maybe busted in wild, maybe not. But only looking at standard and revealed cards this is Surrender to Madness levels of garbage, even more so.
Time and time again we've seen that reducing the cost of something to (0) breaks stuff or creates very uninteractive play patterns, yet they keep making cards like this. I'm not sure what's the logic behind that.
Great mana cheat for minions. We have so many powerful 10 mana minions. Now everyone can play them at turn 6-7 alongside with Kael and a cheap/ discounted minion.
Interesting card - sureley can be used for some shenanigans - even tough you discard your hand. But i guess that is also the huge problem. You need draw afterwards - maybe this works for some sort of last Haul. Pretty meh so far, at least for standard - but has potential!

There goes that Control DH idea, Aggro ahoy!
New Mage Minion - Suspicious Alchemist
Unless it's something like Wildfire which is useless to most opponents, but overall yeah don't think you want to give opponents fireballs.

So uh, Razorfen Beastmaster is still in standard.
Also, magnifying glaive is just busted. Nothing else to say about it. It actually makes Bibliomite a great card.

On the one hand, the board space is gonna be an issue. On the other, minions tend to be more high-impact than spells, especially legendary ones.

My head was blasted with PTSD. Minions are trickier though but eventually there will be a way to abuse this.

I can picture a Druid playing both Kaels, Anacondra and letting the hell loose.
I can bet eventually having the same nerf og Kael had. Taking cards down to 0 tends to be op (and making people angry), but they still print them.
