In two different games I've played Deck of Lunacy and encountered some issues with spell cost and other cards that should have changed the cost of the spells. I know there were issues previously with cards that were shuffled back into the deck or otherwise manipulated via Secret Passage, but I've never seen this one before.

The first was with Celestial Alignment. I played the card and happened to have minions and spells in hand. The minions were properly reduced to 1 mana, but the spells, all of which had been previously altered by Deck of Lunacy, retained their DoL mana cost. I did not have the chance check to see if this was a display bug or an actual spell cost bug.

The second was with Power Word Fortitude. Again, I had the spell generated by DoL, which made it a 5 cost spell. It is supposed to reduce in cost by each spell in hand. I had many spells in hand which should have reduced it to 1 or 0 mana cost, but it remained at 5. I did not try casting it to see if it was a display bug or not.

When I click the grey arrow named "Jump to latest post" I never get to the latest post, instead I end up somewhere in the middle of the thread. This is the case both on mobile and on computer. Very annoying.

Alright, so after the nerfs hit I decided to go back to ladder and finish my climb to Legend that I had to stop at Diamond 2 because the 50/50 Mage/Paladin spread made it impossible to consistently win.

In order to prove to myself that I'm good at evaluating cards I picked No-Minion-Mage without the nerfed Deck of Lunacy because I was sure it was still a very potent deck that performs well against just about most decks (outside of super aggro).

Turns out I wasn't only correct, but also an overwhelming majority of players decided to target the freshly nerfed Paladin by bringing Control Warlock...which gets absolutely trounced by N-M-Mage because you just have more burn than they have healing.

Long story short: Out of 10 games 9 were Warlock. I lost only one of those due to abysmal draws (turns out picking picking a third Incanter's Flow from Runed Orb instead of Rigged Fair Game with an empty hand was a bad choice, who knew) and one against a cheeky Face Hunter who obviously steamrolled me.

Baseline: Everyone plays Warlock to hunt Paladin, but there is no Paladin because all of them already made it to Legend, so either play MAge to farm Warlock or play Hunter to farm the Mages farming Warlock (and also farm the Warlocks because Face Hunter is poggers).

I get those Battlegrounds weeklys quite often (made a posting in the salt thread already). Because of that and the rerolls I have a single weekly quest open in the midweek quite often. Now I noticed that:

-if I've done the weekly "Win 5 ranked" and another weekly quest 

-and there is a single weekly quest in the left most slot

-and i than press reroll on that quest 

=> I get the ranked quest again!

Maybe a coincidence, but happend two times in a row. So i decided to make the thread, whether other users can confirm. By this way you could get a little bit XP extra, because it is 2,5K for the ranked vs. 1,75K for the others. 

so anyone tested if piercing shot does more damage to the enemy hero with Mo'arg Artificer ? i dont have him and dont want to make him just for the test. XD

Well, Witch Doctor is actually one of the oldest classes in the Hearthcards Class Creator, dating all the way back to 2018, so basically when the tool was in alpha and not always available on the Hearthcards main site. While I haven't updated it expansion-wise for a long time, being stuck in RoS and running out of ideas, I still hold dearly to it, and so I'll fianlly share it to a broader audience, this time with a new Core Set to match current ones.

For your information, you can also check the class in Hearthcards Class Creator. Just scroll to the end of the search bar and find "Witch Doctor" with currently 152 cards in it.

So I was playing Even Mage in wild, and trying the new cards... I had Ice Walker on the field and played Reckless Apprentice . In the end... No minion was frozen... Do you think this interaction should work? (Just on wording I think so)

Hey Flux and awesome OOC crew, I had an idea for a longer time and so I though it might be worth asking. We have up and down voting for posts, if we like/dislike the comments, and so I thought, maybe we could have some sort of "reputation" points for members too, as I´ve seen on some other forums. What if I like a member and want to appreciate his opinions/attitude/helpfulness, other than upvoting all of his comments? Maybe there could be some + reputation button (not - ofc, cause it could backfire badly) next to members avatars? You couldn´t vote twice for the same member, it could be anonymous (so people don´t feel forced to pay it back) and maybe it could be helpful in threads like trading a friend quests - you can upvote trusty member who traded with you, or you can check his reputation before trading, to know he is least likely to scam you, if he gained some reputation points.

Anyway, just an idea, what do you guys think? :)

I had her in a deck she didn’t belong in before the nerf and got wins with her because of her health pool while not really having the cards to protect her. 

I took her out when they lowered her health to 2 just didn’t feel I could keep her alive without building around her. I feel that is how it should be. Any Fiora mains floating around here?

I was curious how they felt after the balance patch?

Hi Guys,

I've had the "Play 10 Frost spells" quest twice and both times it hasn't counted how many frost spells I've played correctly. For example, I just played a game in the Tavern Brawl as mage and it reckons I only played 3, however I definitely played more than that.

Has anyone else had the same problem? I'd imagine the bug exists for the other spell school quests as well.

I was part of the Zalae thread recently and probably didnt help the conversation thread since I was going back and forth with someone I didnt agree with. This was yesterday and I see now that the thread's comments are now hidden. However, Im unable to see the comment replies I got - 1 being Flux himself. 

I agree regarding the thread being made hidden from comments. I dont agree that if we got a response, we can no longer see it at all. 

What I would like to see is maybe the full comment if you hover over the link of the thread title under Site Notifications. This would bypass rare situations where a thread is locked but also would allow us to avoid having to click and reload the thread.

Bonus - I would love to know what Flux replied back to me with. I care less about the other person that replied.

Wanted to know if there is any way to have different portraits for different decks of the same class. I don’t see any way to do it and if it’s that’s the case I’m against it.

Would it be possible to get some way to favourite decks or save them to some kind of list? A lot of times I see cool decks but am missing a few key cards and it'd be cool to be able to save them for later on the site

I know nostalgia has rendered the old boy sacrosanct for a while, but I believe the writing is on the wall. When will the community be willing to read it?

Consider Dr. Boom, Mad Genius. I think a lot of players would agree that he was extremely problematic -- and the devs finally agreed and nerfed him. Well, Lord Jaraxxus shares several similarities with Boom, but they are exacerbated by certain aspects of the current meta.

• Infinite value hero power -- only it's far worse with Jaraxxus because the value is much higher and totally consistent.
• Minimal competition from other hero cards -- only it's worse with Jaraxxus because he is the only hero card in Standard right now.
• Belongs to a class with too much control to begin with -- only it's worse with Jaraxxus because other control classes lost some control tools.

I understand that Lunacy Mage is top of mind for everyone at the moment, but that deck seems a lot worse than it is, simply because it's fun to play and therefore popular. Meanwhile, Control Warlock has quietly maintained win rates that rival or exceed Lunacy Mage, and this will only get worse when the hate-of-the-week decks get nerfed.

I hope Team 5 is able to recognize this problem before they decide on the next round of nerfs, or things will be a whole lot worse than they are now.
