I’m on an iPhone

Title pretty much says it all.  I have 8 HS accounts and all have a bunch of dust.  I have Leroy's on a couple names but I am wondering if  this would be the thing to do... Craft Golden versions of Leroy, get 3200 dust right back, then (On some of my names) just disenchant that for 1600 more. 

This would net me 4800 free dust am I wrong?

Just wondering, will DH be a one set class?

Since it will be introduced in the next xpac, will it only have 1 set?

Whereas all the other 9 class will have 4 (3 from year of the dragon, 1 from new xpac).

Or will blizzard retroactively print new cards for the year of the dragon for the DH class?

Hey, everyone! So, just wanted to get some feedback on what everyone else's thoughts are on this new patch. I'm going to put some here in writing that I'm more curious about than other cards, but I did put up an entire video on each card change on YouTube if ya' wanna check it out: Patch 0.9.2 Review

Anyways, here's what I think on some of these. Also, I mentioned being Diamond purely so people can understand where some of these thoughts are coming from competitively. Obviously a Gold player may not necessarily be worse than a Diamond player, but the decks they're going to see more frequently will be largely different on ladder, etc.

Kalista - What's everyone's thoughts here? I really don't see her seeing much more play, however I do think she opens the game up a bit for some more combo deck idea's (just a quick example is her re-summoning a Rekindler to get a Draven, etc.). However, I still don't think she'll end up being good until a large amount of new cards are released.

Black Spear - Also think this was uneeded? Like wtf? Now this card just seems like another Get Excited - not sure if that was Riot's intention with this nerf? This also retroactively hurts Kalista even more - not like she needed that!

Iceborn/Pack Mentality - I know these still aren't necessarily OP cards, but I do feel that when the right cards are released that these cards will be incredibly good for some sort of token deck. I do believe Pack Mentality got substantially better now that it can't be denied with targeting spells and even though Iceborn can NOW get denied with targeting spells, I do think it's better with a +2 reward instead of +1.

Mark of the Isles - Is it me, or was this card just a giant friggin' mistake in the entire game? This was easily, in my opinion, the most OP card until this nerf....

The Old Gods are back and with the Heroes of Dalaran Fighting the League the League of Evil it's Up to the Titans to defeat them

However the Titans are bringing their set of Special cards to aid them Constructs

But of Course a new Mechanic means new Synergies

The Burning Legion has returned! The Dark Portal has opened and once again the forces of darkness seek to conquer the world. My idea for this set started by wanting to create a legendary demon for each class and expanded from there. Warlock has always had the most demon synergy, but now the other 8 classes will have their iconic mechanics twisted by the dark influence of the Void.

The set is nearly complete, only missing a few neutral commons, rares and epics. I appreciate feedback on this stuff.

New Keyword: Burning Burning minions slowly destroy themselves, using their own bodies to fuel their fel magics and powers. Weapons can also have the burning keyword, they lose durability instead of health.	Pre-Order Hero A new hero skin for hunters, Illidan Stormrage!
Pre-Release Event: The Dark Portal Opens! A week before the release of Invasion of the Legion, all players receive a free legendary card, Medivh, the Accursed! Now all classes can tap into the twisting nether, drawing power at the cost of their life. And now that the Dark Portal is open, Warlocks can begin summoning all sorts of new demons! All players also recieve two golden copies of the new common, Open the Dark Portal. Not only are they golden and the demons created golden, but starting with this release event, they will create new Demons from the set before it's full release!
	Single Player Content: Rain of Chaos! Rain of Chaos is a new single player survival mode. Similar to Dungeon Run, Rain of Chaos puts a twist on the format by condensing it to a single match Survival Mode. The objective: last as many turns as you can against unending enemy bosses and their decks. Defeat a single Demon Boss and another immediately replaces it! For beating each Boss, discover new cards to shuffle into your deck. As a reward for beating Rain of Chaos with all 9 classes, you get a free Legendary minion, Isaac the Acolyte. Similar to Whizbang the Wonderful, Issac will give you a random premade deck recipe, picked from 1 of 9 different demonic decks!

Xavius, firstborn of the Satyrs, uses the demonic influence of the Legion to twist the trees  into evil forms.

I'm playing Yogg Jade druid atm, and it's a fucking blast, rank 5 - don't care about winning -  games are fun AF

Also : new ladder system coming and no more duplicates commons, rares and epics with new expansion makes a happy meee  ~!

I absolutely loved:

• The Kalista rework.  Honestly, she might be a little too good now, but as much time as she's spent in the dumpster Girl could use a little time to shine.  The best part is: it's not just good, its novel.  My mind is already spinning on all the ways to possibly abuse her L2 ability.
• Mageseekers rework.  The whole "discard a card" thing was really discouraging, so I love that they dumped it and now made it more fun.  Props for making them all reactive, too, since pretty much every 6+ cost spell is something you want to play at the right time and not just as an activator.
• The Rummage change.   It sounds like a small thing, but honestly most successful Jinx decks will cut this card because it absolutely sucks to "lock up" your hand.  But even bigger than the specifics is how they are proactively bandaging this very niche scenario.  It shows a familiarity with how an off-meta deck performs and nourishment to want to essentially "unburden" it without necessarily buffing it.

I liked

• The down-tuning for Black Spear, Crowd Favorite, Chump Whump, and MotI.  All essentially went from "Why wouldn't you run 3x of this card?" to "Are you sure this is the best card for you?", which is exactly what you want from a balanced card game.
• The up-tuning on Brood Awakening, Poro Snax, and Iceborn Legacy.  The latter 2 are opening up new possible archetypes; the former is giving some deckbuilding flexibility to what is currently a very narrow archetype.  Kudos all around.
• In general: how this was a regularly scheduled balance patch that shook things up, and now I'm already excited for / dreaming up totally new deck archetypes.  Compare this to other CCG games' who will remain nameless' balance patches, where effectively announcing which Tier One decks are now dead and leave me waiting to see what inevitably fills the power void.

I'm not sure about

• Pack Mentality.  I do like that its less confusing now, but this is really just feels like a variation on For Demacia.  It's uninspired brute force.  Plus: I'm still not sure who's actually going to run it.  Decks that run wide, sure, but that's usually not Frejlord.  Maybe someone that wants to make use of Unscarred Reaver and Scarthane SteffanBADCARDNAME outside of a subpar Vlad deck?
• Troop of Elnuks.  The chance of a complete whiff on this card (not adjusting for what you've drawn or if you've copied) is roughly (34/39)^N, where N is the number of cards, so the change goes from a ~25% chance to a ~44% chance.  I'm guessing that's enough of a swing to scare off meta decks from just splashing it, but it doesn't feel comforting.  I do like that they identify preservation of the counterfeit coin strategy, but honestly if that trick wasn't working at 10 cards I don't think it will get any more popular now.
• Flash of Brilliance.  The bigger thing to me was the free mana, so I'm really disappointed they didn't at least make it a 4 cost spell.

I'm disappointed with

• The Vanguard Lookout "buff".  Boring, and ironically he probably still isn't going to see play because there are better 2-drops for elites.  If you want to make people play him, he needs some interesting tag or ability.

I can't beleive

• That Hecarim "nerf".  He's even more disgusting on a Harrowing now, I don't think reducing his damage by 2 is going to slow him down.  Really should have been either an increase to 8 mana or a removal of Overwhelm tag IMHO.
• Rekindler.  I actually really like that you can rez champions; what I don't like is that this is so often double-digit stats for 6 mana--raising to 7 doesn't hurt the bottom line enough.  IMHO, should either be a smaller body or changed to rez the weakest champion so you need to build your deck more carefully if you're just going to cheat out infinite Hecarim / Garen / Ashe / (Kalista ;-) ) etc.
• No change to Shadow Assassin.  This card is just disgusting, and its the lynch pin of all elusive cancer decks.  I do appreciate that they at least identified it and played around with some of the numbers, but not converging on any actual changes is a huge miss IMHO.

I just do not understand. I thought that I know how this rating system works, but after this I am not so sure... Does it make any sense to get into a match in which I lose rating even if I win?

I've seen people say she is a weak champ but at least from my experience she's the most annoying thing ever. 3 health means very few spells can kill her, unless you're P&Z or Shadow Isles you're fucked basically. The quick attack means she survives every time she strikes after she upgrades. Not joking, and i find this stupid. Even if my blocker would normally kill her, she just returns to hand all fine and dandy. And the fact she Rallies every time you play her is very difficult to deal with, not a lot of ways to win the board early in this game without minion combat and that is exactly what she beats me on i feel. 

So what do i do? I suppose i can freeze but that's just temporary and i use mana on a delay effect while the enemy builds the board. with cheap creatures that keep dealing chip damage on me.

I'm thinking about an easy(ish) way to tidy up https://outof.cards/forums/recent-threads  because right now it has over 90% of the threads from card discussions,making everything else harder to read.

In short, put all (recent?) threads from a specific forum under something similar to the spoiler tag (like a dropdown with a short arrow on the right; clicking on said arrow expands the recent threads from the specific category/forum).

This way we can choose what recent threads to look at. Of course, this can be expanded to show at most X number of recent threads from each forum (when the dropdowm is expanded), to maybe include inner paging (or simply keep it like right now and, when clicking on page 2 simply allow the users to see the next X threads from each forum).

Hecarim + The Rekindler was bad enough, but now Kalista + The Rekindler is ridiculous. Once you've set the combo up, she just keeps resummoning Rekindlers, which resummon her. Once there are a couple of Kalista's in play, there's really nowhere near enough removal to deal with it.

This wouldn't be such a huge nuisance, except they didn't do nearly enough to nerf all the other Shadow Isles tools that get those kinds of decks into the late game.

But why? It works the exact same as before. Also half of 1 is not 0, maybe these devs didnt get past 6th grade?

I have 3 copies of all Demacia Champions, and Demacia is my active road.

I just opened a platinum chest at level 18, and one of the capsules upgraded to Champion. I figured the Champion would turn into shards, but no! It became my second copy of Ashe instead!

So there you have it: a Freljord Champion from a Demacia chest when no more Demacia Champions are needed.

Hey, just browsing some of the articles on PCGamer, and one sentence kinda caught my eye that I haven't seen mentioned anywhere else yet. They say something about a new Demon Hunter Legendary that has charge and can ignore taunt minions. It's mentioned in the section on Leroy if you want to check it out.

Ok so this is a totally unreliable 9 card combo in mage. First you need to play Kael'thas Sunstrider. Then you play Elemental Evocation into Mana Reservoir twice,Pyroblast face. Then Frostbolt face twice and another Pyroblast to the face.

Damage:

12+5+5+12=34 dmg in one turn!

I'll surely try this out, and it wont work. But its fun atleast.

It looks like we got another at least partial reveal from the press release videos: Imprisoned Antaen. It's a 5 mana minion that deals something after awakening (probably some amount of damage, maybe AOE?). Again, I believe this is fair to share as it was in the press release videos. So most of us are excited to hear about those great changes coming to Hearthstone which were hinted at by attendees of the Hearthstone 2020 Community Summit. Since the original post on the main page got flushed out and we may or may not get some news this week or even today, I wanted to give our speculations, expectations and wishes a new home.

Apart from very obvious things I expect to be delivered very soon like new purchasable hero portraits, my own contribution is to speculate about Blizzard splitting off Battlegrounds from "classic" Hearthstone. Maybe even Arena comes along, too. My arguments supporting that theory are as follows:

- If I remember correctly, there already are seperate teams working on BG and the rest of HS at Blizzard's

- BG (and Arena) are based upon drafting. You don't need a collection, you don't need card backs (not true for Arena, though no big issue imho), you don't need anything you obtained during your time before BG was introduced. It wouldn't hurt veterans to split BG off.

- Auto chess is something completely different than "classic" HS. It's easy to imagine people loving BG who have no interest in "classic" HS and vice versa (I'm an example for the latter, no surprise). This argument strongly speaks against seperating Arena, though.

- BG is getting a lot of love from the devs. The frequency of the introduction of new heros, buffs and nerfs is amazing. Maybe they are pushing this hard because they want to get the biggest player base possible before kicking off BG as a seperate game.

I must admit that I'm really not convinced it would make sense to split off BG from the business side of the issue. But with a little stretch one could argue that BG isn't even a card game anymore since you can't collect the cards. That might be enough to distinguish between the two branches and shape seperate identities. If all of this amounts to "cementing HS for the next decade" depends upon the questions if 1) seperate BG would still qualify as part of HS and 2) what will "classic" HS receive this year.

I'm looking forward to hear your thoughts about the upcoming changes and getting roasted for my somewhat crazy idea. Thanks for reading!
