I made Taran Zhu something like a Bloodlust effect for Stealth Rogue decks and it rewards them for not having their Stealth minions attacking. Like the Stealth minions have stronger attack because they have waited patiently and listened to Taran Zhu's commands.
His Hero Power makes it so that you could add in different cards you wouldn't add in before like Animated Broomstick for example, granting your entire board Stealth. I like it because the Rush mechanic is usually Warrior's and that warrior that changes his ways and becomes patient under Taran Zhu's Discipline.

My attempt on pushing Freeze Shaman with "Death Knight" Ragnaros.
That art had been sitting on my desktop for ages waiting for me to come up with something. Hopefully I did it justice.

A late-game card for Suicide Zoolock. His Battlecry summons three tokens with Rush, which can help to make efficient trades as Zoo decks like. The Hero Power can prove to be very strong, but only if your deck is heavy on swarm cards and self-damage.

Whoever has the crown grows oddly large and starts making rules. It should be noted that when the rat dies whatever their health becomes your new health I.E if the rat has 5 health you only get 5 instead of the full 10 the attack doesn't matter.

A fearsome member of the C'Thraxxi and loyal soldier of N'Zoth, God of the Deep. the powerful Commander Xa'rax will hunt down anyone who gets in his way. With menagerie decks making a big comeback at the Darkmoon Faire, Xa'rax gives Hunters a tool to utilize it. His Battlecry gives draw for Hunter's main three minion types and immediate board presence, while his Hero Power rewards you for filling your board with as many types as you can. If you can take full advantage of N'Zoth's power, it will truly be madness...

An attempt to make Bolvar, Fireblood and Light's Sorrow better cards, since Uther of the Ebon Blade didn't really interact with the rest of the Paladin's KFT set.

Kil'jaeden is designed as both a big Demon payoff and a source of card generation that doesn't accelerate you towards fatigue.
By putting the Demon on the bottom of the deck, it leaves some time before his demonic legion arrives, and rewards planning ahead.
Interestingly, the hero power gets much better when you hit fatigue, as you no longer have to wait for your Demon, which while unintentional, feels appropriate for a demon.

This is what I imagine a Deathknight Lunara would have looked like, if she had been around at the time of Knights of the Frozen Throne instead of Malfurion the Pestilent. The card is designed as a strong support for Token Druid decks, providing a one time buff via the Battlecry and constant reload through the Hero Power.

I liked the idea of this Hero Power after recently replaying Rastakhan's Rumble, where one of the Warlock shrines benefits off self-damage. The idea behind the flavour is that Countess Ashmore's (small amount of) lore says that she suddenly appeared in Gilneas one day however the records show her family has a long line of living there, despite know one remembering. So she kind of alters history, or people's perception of it, so I thought it would be fitting that she changes cards that damage you into ones that heal you, like making the bad things seem good.
This either works in a zoo deck that has cards like Flame Imp and Unlicensed Apothecary to make those cards benefit you, or in a slow deck that goes to fatigue and then lets you benefit off healing through fatigue, which is why I went with a draw battlecry. If you are playing a faster zoo deck it refills your hand, if it's a slow deck it gets you some nice draws and gets you closer to fatigue which is now a sort of benefit.

Third affliction is Cursed!
Corruptor Cho'gall is a good card for control decks without having to rely on demons. The battlecry could be used just to give your hero a lot of armor, or as a way to cheat out big cards to varying degrees. The hero power lets you choose between three options that can accumulate value over time and force the opponent to spend mana just to prevent themselves from becoming overwhelmed.

Vanessa VanCleef is a fairly unique take on a hero card by using a Combo effect instead of a Battlecry. In a similar sense to her father, Vanessa has a Combo effect that scales with each card you play this turn, dealing 1 damage to all undamaged enemies for each other card you play. This gives Rogue some form of AoE without completely nullifying it as a weakness.
As many Rogue cards are weapon-centric, the functionality of equipping a weapon at any time is still present on the Hero Power, and in a similar vein to the Alpha Hero Power, gives you a source of being able to buff it.

A Hero card for Cenarius! For his Choose One effect, I give him a AoE(a Flamestrike that costs 2 more mana) for Durid and a Tree of Life, the Hero Power allow you to gain massive amount of Armor if you cast enough spell. It is a soild choice for slow decks like Jade Durids to survive and give them an option to Board Clear.

Stoneform is a racial ability of Dwarfs in World of Warcraft and I think reduction of damage is really interesting. They are known to be resilient to different type of damage so I thought that the reduction by 1 plus gaining Armor plays into the theme.

A very powerful effect, limited to a short time. When your 5 armor are destroyed your hero portrait and Hero Power will revert back to your original hero.
Remember that you have plenty of interesting places you can tweak a Hero Card for balance; each one has some sort of Battlecry (or on-going effect), a Hero Power, an initial Armor gain, and of course a Mana cost, all of which can be prodded at to get your card into the perfect place.
