Huh. I recall Frosty mentioning recently how he reached 500 wins with Warrior and got the portrait, but the achievement was convinced it was only at 498. But that was before the patch. Your situation makes it sound like their internal tracking got temporarily messed up even more now...
That's very strange. I had auto downloads disabled myself, but upon checking for updates the B.net client found and installed the new patch just fine. Not even restarting it helps any? I'll try to keep an eye on any similar reports.
No, no, it's just for Duels this time around. Arena rotation might happen in a few weeks once they are ready to release the mini-set (but that's just my assumption).
Hopefully most options for all other classes will feel better now with these nerfs and Rogues not dominating, we'll try to look into a more extensive list come tomorrow (sorry it's been slow on that front, a busy month)!
The client just isn't synced properly (it should change to show 2 days very soon, at least on mobile where patch arrives later), guess they cannot do that without manual adjustment. Perhaps Thursday was their original date.
It's not a different philosophy than the usual Constructed balance changes we get, after all, and I don't see much of a reason why it shouldn't be. Pretty much all of these are more than justified in my book.
(That's obviously not a soft "G", therefore the only acceptable pronunciation is "gif". On behalf of all of us here capable of telling between the right and wrong, official apologies to everyone offended by Flux's blatant slip.)
Yes, no mention of ever getting that 4th Diamond card from the "losing" side. Although it could still be a distant possibility. It also depends on whether they might have prepared both Diamond animations ahead of time, as you pointed out, or are only going to work on one after everything is said and done. Notice the wording of that particular announcement: "will receive a Diamond copy [...] in a future update". Does not sound like it might happen instantly on Jan 11.
That all sounds very quirky, they should certainly hire you for troubleshooting. ;) I can't obviously check it myself, but I've seen some people reporting similar issues. You have definitely collected the skin rewards for Honor from there and from the Rewards Track achievement (should it matter for some reason)?
Last time I checked their Twitter/Discord, nobody was actually sharing individual deck codes for us to put here. It's unfortunate, the tournament organization wasn't really checking all these boxes. Best bet might actually be finding these moments of interest in the broadcast where they go over the cards.
I've actually got a little bit extra now, as one of the tournament admins was kind enough to share with us. ;) But yes, I wish we would've had that at our fingertips from the get go, would've made everything easier and much faster.
#Updated now with the full planned tournament schedule, player matches, pairings, and so on.
Yeah... no time to keep going through hours of streams in the hopes of learning something like this that should've been clearly announced in the first place. It's delayed my efforts and I was just about resigned to talk about it without any specified time included, then updating only once we actually made sure.
It's been on our radar for the past few days as well, they just haven't been very forthcoming with sharing all useful images, details, and so on (plus the qualifier was supposed to take place and finish on Monday, but because of the surprise patch and issues that followed had to be cut in half and also played on Tuesday). Kind of annoying when you're trying to get a full picture. But as Flux points out, it's never a guarantee we catch these things timely or manage to put everything together, so thank you for spreading the word here!
I'm curious about that starting time, as that's the one thing I didn't see publicly announced on Twitter or Discord and couldn't get a reply about. Perhaps you know more. Did he only mention it on his stream in passing?
Unfortunately the Ranked bundles are not even being offered on the B.net shop. Presumably they don't have the technology there to go from Rank 1 to Rank 2. Silly, eh.
It's part of the MMR rating adjustments we have covered a little while ago, and yes, it's far from perfect currently. I've had the same happen to me several times. Very frustrating. The system is keeping our internal MMR from season 1 in mind and not applying other factors correctly. Should you lose several times more than you win, you might still eventually start seeing the A.I. opponents again (as usual, better chance without a full team of lvl 30 Mercs). On the upside, you also now get a lot more rating for wins than previously so people manage to climb a lot higher than before.
For what it's worth, I'd say most Masters Tours this year were very watchable and pretty fun. Even though I might not've personally enjoyed playing or facing some of the decks the players were using a lot. The viewing experience for esports can be surprisingly different/better. Casters and the production alone add a lot of quality when the metagame itself might be lacking.

I think I saw something on Twitter briefly about this; you know it's not a proper patch without some stealthy bugs.

Thank you for the clarification here and on Twitter, I had no chance to catch up with the stream yet. Will change that part of the text accordingly!

As do all of us, or so I'd like to believe. One doesn't or shouldn't exclude the other.
Ah, nice. Replacing another card or two, that always counts as a proper Hearthstone deck refinement. Will be good to highlight it again in the future.
Well met, good boy Huffer.
