Various Blizzard workers have been announcing how seemingly everyone at the company was given the Thanksgiving week off, but that's still a good week before the expansion is due. Maybe him phrasing it as 'vacation' and not clarifying how long wasn't the most clear form.
We do indeed have CET now, and 10 am Pacific would be 19:00 CET. Because you know, they also had their daylight savings time change over there, on November 7.
But that's not the official timestamp or anything, just what people usually expect Blizzard announcements to happen at as they tend to follow the pattern.
I believe somebody even found out that you could have more than one copy of Nozdormu quest at the same time (they must have different monthly IDs), though I wouldn't advise anyone sitting on it for this long.
It is a funny thing, I still feel a little sad whenever my mercs level up quicker than I might've anticipated (but then there is not much choice if we want tasks nr 5 eventually completed). Do you still keep up with as many "relaxing wins" against AI? That must've been a good amount of coins. I struggled to find enough time or interest lately to go beyond a single daily chest at most, even though I don't think I'm going to bother going for 7k rating or above.
And also very belated thanks (I could've sworn I pressed that reply button before)!
Ignite will remain as a very powerful option as long as there are ways to cycle through the deck quickly and consistently while not getting bursted down (weaker Druid and Rogue are just fine with Mage, after all). The nerf means slightly less powerful card draw post Arcanist Dawngrasp as well, so it's really going to depend on what's in store for this next expansion.
Pirate Warrior is really nowhere near that superior. You get your Libram Paladins or Quest Shamans able to get in its way, and it may even struggle against any other similar decks rising up as a result of such nerfs. We don't expect Aggro Druid to just go away either.
Invitationals tend to follow their own peculiar rules, depending on who is in charge and doing the picks. Some names are definitely unexpected, to say the least. Even the China team doesn't include a lot of the more known 'heavyweights' (we don't really know their streamers and casters, so could be some of that).
I expect good production values and seeing competitive Battlegrounds or Mercenaries action is so rare, it might be worthwhile tuning in to learn some creative strategies.
That's a very creative take! You make good points about the post and Deeprun Engineer.
I wish I actually had all the cards to give it a spin for fun. No copies of Wildfire and Jandice Barov is MIA for me ever since the dust refund (I'm not sure about the epic watchpost, may be missing Varden Dawngrasp as well). Eh, just never enough dust to spare for everything...
As far as I understand from the examples given and everything shown across the web, the gold deduction has only happened for the excess tickets people managed to turn into actual runs/packs, not for the number they held (those extras should simply be removed). And the devs didn't even attempt to ban anyone knowingly abusing the bug, just such slap on the wrist. So if you haven't really gained anything thanks to this issue, you should be absolutely safe.
Definitely report in that forum thread or straight to Daniel Duffin or Ates Bayrak on Twitter if it turns out that's not the case (and let us know too!). These are good people always willing to help with the problems.
There are many different options (I've never been too impressed with him in the first place), might depend on which deck is giving you most trouble: Preparation to retain some form of discount, Wand Thief to have a level of versatility (or Vanessa VanCleef), Brain Freeze for stall or snipe, Dirty Tricks for more draw, maybe even the new Blackwater Cutlass warrants testing.
You most certainly haven't, somebody (cough cough) sucked at not correcting the early draft while falling asleep at 2 am. Jagu has pointed it out just a moment ago as well, so all that should make more sense now. Thanks for keeping a watchful eye!
Doh, I could've sworn I iterated upon that line before going through with it; there was more to talk about. Thanks for pointing out, corrected to properly reflect the interactions!
Hey, I'm not sure if I understand correctly: what else would you expect it to show other than 6-man PvE or PvP parties for the mode? Or are you seeing something else? We'll have a look at the Oozefest thing.
My pleasure. I've seen somebody adding Multicaster, but it was on top of the usual Quest Spell Mage package (so not much different than having those slots saved for a Wand Thief or another minion before). There wasn't much success to report yet. Man, I do miss a proper minion Mage mixed with some spells.
And yes, not much love for Priest currently either, since I don't believe just adding Mr. Smite to Shadow counts as a great novelty. The Control one could live again if there are more board based decks to stop, but... always OTK combo counters to be wary of.
Thank you! And that's actually far more consistent than what I manage, I've slipped lately and skipped a number of daily chests. Too much Hearthstone within Hearthstone to catch up with, indeed.

We may not see it posted until a week or so before the new expansion is due. Usually coming with the pre-launch patch.

Some nice ideas as always! Gotta love the creative titles.

Soon (tm)! We will actually talk more about this tomorrow.

Can always count to capitalize on the early messy metagame days. ;) And ouch, so now you've got double Edwin punches over there.

Nice find! They do pay attention to these little things.
