Hehe, that almost sounds like what I did. It's so easy to postpone or don't feel like logging in at a time one happens to remember, and then suddenly it's 2 weeks later.
For what it's worth, the PvP meta hasn't been as reliant on Diablo since the latest round of buffs (and Cairne nerf). And it might further move in a different direction if the new Mercs prove to be strong fits for other strategies.
#Update - happened a few hours ago, but for the record: added Celestalon's tweet to the opening section, and then reworded the other lines for greater clarity; also explained (at the start of 2nd section) how to possibly delay the patching process in order to buy a few more hours for Stormwind Achievements XP collecting.
Hah, and you call that "only". I'd still consider it a damn impressive score that is not likely to be matched by many other players. Good to hear the fun moments were plentiful!
I do agree with your sentiments: not worth going out of one's way for the ones that take too long. I also do wish we had more community interest in the achievements as a whole. As you mention, the Hearthstone team making the XP bonuses relatively underwhelming doesn't help things.

That's fine going on your side. I agree, these Stormwind achievements felt considerably less painful than Darkmoon/Barrens ones.
And glad to be of assistance! FrostyFeet and Avalon definitely deserve some credit for the whole speed rating idea. We were all thinking how to best fit it in a way that makes sense.
That might be the first time Mad Summoner gets some love when it comes to Stormwind achievements. I remember how often he used to come up with the previous expansion sets...
That's a very good clarification, thank you. I've only ever used it myself for the DH class achievement, doing the 0-mana equips with the other classes. It wouldn't have necessarily occurred to me to keep checking the count on that front, or that the game wouldn't respect the base no attack version for achievement purposes.
Shh. My heart is with the Alliance, but gotta keep an eye on the other side!

Alliance represent! We'll be silently working in the background on a coup d'etat.
Probably not at that point. That excess coin feature is sure taking its sweet time.

Sorry that it was quite a long wait! Just glad we got there in the 'better late than never' fashion.

Go go! Nothing like some final speed runs. :)
We were thinking of adding that point, but didn't have the confirmation it wasn't fixed as of patch 21.8. Can't quite test retroactively, alas.
Will make a short disclaimer based on your replies, thanks!
So it would seem, it's been very underwhelming. Having to give up one precious minion slot on the board at all times for a very negligible buff.
#Update at the end of the article: ItsBen's Battlegrounds podcast featuring game designer Cora. Well worth a listen for any Battlegrounds regulars.
Mhm. That's why we settled on providing our own info on the Achievements front, just in case. They could always surprise us positively, but...
Haha, that's a fine upgrade.
