Level 115 after this weeks weekly quests completed. I still hate quests, especially mage quest.
I used tyo buy both preorders and spend the gold on packs, but this may be a bit too much, I have full collection with duplicate legendaries. For next expansion I will most likely buy only the big preorder and then I will see what can I complete with that. I buy the miniset for real money.
Gonna recommend The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson of course. The books all start off really slowly but have great pay offs at the end
Great books and the author should finish the first cycle in 2023 (he plans to write two cycles of 5 books each roughly 1000 pages). But I would recommend basically anything from Brandon Sanderson.
The genre is LitRPG - Literature RPG, and basically this is a science fiction book about a guy, who is forced to play an RPG in virtual reality. Great fun, starting from level 1 as a Shaman Jeweller and working his way up until owning his own guild.
I really love this style - this really is like watching a very good twitch gameplay, reading about a shaman who is for example as a low level charecter grinding killing rats to get a +2 pickaxe instead of his regular one and using the knowledge of game to get a faster leveling experience.
I agree that Zeddy deserves the lion's share of the blame, but Regis and Dexxster both based their videos entirely on his analysis without doing any calculations themselves or considering what information might be missing. To me, that's pretty irresponsible and feels like pandering to the hater-base.
So, basically, you blame the content creators that they done their assumptions just based on the information available and on the communication of Blizzard?
What is missing: the cost of acquiring and fully upgrading a mercenary so it is viable. Since mercenary coins are totally random and each mercenary have specific coins and you need a LOT of them for full upgrade.... this may be very heavy investment
Same here - to keep up with all cosmetics is just unbearable. I will still preorder the big bundle and if I will like some cosmetics a lot I might got them but certainly I will spend less, not more.
Quote from Blizz page: When you first enter the Tavern, you’ll notice that your Mercenaries are organized into three sections, called Roles, each with a corresponding color. Red Mercenaries are called Protectors; green Mercenaries are called Fighters; and blue Mercenaries are called Casters.
This bugs me. Blue for Casters is OK, but why are Fighters not red (aggresive color, color of blood) and Protectors green (calm color)??
Take the Questlines for example. I feel the dev team didn't realize how easy they were to complete, that's why the rewards are 5 mana 7/7's on top of some of their game ending abilities. I especially feel this is true for mage and warlock.
Fact is that the devs build decks based on "fun" and much slower than the decks can be built. So for example in mage quest deck recipe they put minions. Silly devs.
Instant Gratification: Draw the Purified Shard the same turn you shuffle it into your deck.
The simplest way to do this is by waiting until they play the questline reward, then on your turn playing Mindrender Illucia + Lorekeeper Polkelt + Prize Vendor or any 'draw a card' effect like a Loot Hoarder or Bloodmage Thalnos deathrattle. Note that tutor effects of any kind ignore deck order, although they do not change Polkelt's ordering of the deck. This will of course only work if your opponent doesn't draw the shard the same turn they play their questline reward.
isn't this part wrong ? if you cast Illucia you have enemy cards .

As Depperdog said, I really hate some decks. Quest mage, for example is something that causes me to turn off the game.
This definitely is not a good state of HS for me.
Lets play a game - name a card you no one knows about yet is still exists in Standard (or, maybe, Wild).
I will kick off with
Who's next?

If you like World of Warcraft or other MMORPGs try The Way of Shaman series by Vasily Mahanenko (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/25342750-survival-quest)

So the new playable is 1 mana 2/2 with a tribe tag and an upside
This one year is the new strategy communicated by Iksar

After some time (year or so) they should be available for gold
Maybe OoC is just cooperating with Blizz and receives this info from internal sources, just like streamers do, as a promotion
Actually, Ragnaros is Protector, not a caster or fighter.
Ragnaros the Protector?
Jaraxxus the Protector??
Lich King the Protector???

The miniset releases roughly two months after the main expansion, so in next 2-3 weeks we should see the next miniset.
I really hate this meta, where it is only quests or decks trying to counter quests (yeah, aggro).
So I was thinking - what could the devs do to change the meta? Create even stronger cards than quests? Will there be mass nerfs?
What do you expect from the miniset?
Hit level 80 while grinding with a multi-achievment Paladin deck which is surprisingly good in ladder. It grinds the following achievments:
Like, really, what should be in next miniset and set so for mage would be better playing minions? What should be the power level of these cards?
