Level 197 with Pass. I play about the same as last expansion, I expect to hit 220-230 by next expansion. But this time I did not grinded the achievements.
I have ~7000 gold which is the same I had without reward track but this is because I purchased all missing cardbacks (I missed the esport one and the first 6 months of ranked play).
Based on HSReplay priest is the worst class, period. Best deck is 46% winrate.
So yeah, priest is dead.
Blizzard could not nerf the real cultprits - Raise Dead and Palm Reading as both are shadow spells and most likely aimed for the shadow priest archetype they are building, so they cancelled all Priest healing and now while agro can deal 15-25 damage burst Priest is unable to efficiently heal.
I agree, if Apo is too big burst heal they should make it 2 mana +1/+2 lifesteal. And just doubling the Renew cost is too much, it should have heal upped.
Its actually funny because the current meta, at least at the top anyway, is composed largely of priest, miracle rogue, doomhammer shaman, deathrattle and lifesteal dhunters, token druid, spell mage and control warrior. The fact of the matter is only shaman has any claim to being the most relevant aggro deck today, and even then in reality its really a midrange deck with Doomhammer doing most of the heavy lifting. Token druid is a combo deck, I may add, with wins and losses determined less by the 1-2-3s than getting an insurmountable board as early as possible.
Face hunter currently sucks, and will roll over to any control deck at present barring neerulock, and even then its a contentious matchup on whether the hunter gets his curve out on the first three turns.
The meta is currently more midrange than aggro, token druid is an inconsistent (but mostly infuriating) deck to go against, and at higher levels the deck to beat is most certainly priest. So if team5 decides that something needs trimming to either freshen the meta or preempt the next expansion (which is 1 month away), Im certainly not going to claim any conspiracy, certainly not with aggro in mind
The decks I meet most of the times are aggro elemental shaman, aggro hunter and aggro Gibberling druid.
Maybe I was just like you in the past. Keep asking this questions without trying to find out the truth. So. I made myself a little excel, keep writing in every pack I've opened so far, although it's a pain in the a**, but at least now I have the proof that pity timer works. In my whole time playing Hearthstone, there was only 1 time I opened a legendary in my 40th packs. It was Uldum, but the timer never passes that mark.
Same here, I tracked the packs in a small spreadsheet for four years, 1900 packs in total and I got a legendary in every 19.37 packs on average with 98 dust per pack on average.
In 1898 packs I got 81 golden commons, 1071 rares, 62 golden rares, 208 epics, 8 golden epics, 91 legendaries and 7 golden legendaries.
I would love to see a change to Discover mechanic - you cannot discover the same card twice in a single game. That means, if you selected a card from discover eff3ct it will not be discoverable again. That would make the decisions more strategical.
wouldnt bet on it, only a select few old portraits are available for gold
Tell that, for example, to The Thunder King, Dame Hazelbark or Sylvanas Windrunner, as all of them (along with their respective card backs) originally went on sale in their own limited-time special bundles for 10 bucks... the very same bundles you can now get for just 1800 gold (1500 gold initially).
Paying real money for this bundle is an eccentricity typical of whales that have too much money to spare and/or do not know how to control their spending... because I remind you, this video game company does not deserve your money at all.
Actually for 3 heroes and a cardback would be 3*1800 + 500 gold = 5 900 gold, which is 59 packs which is actually much more expensive to buy in real money.
Also why do you think that if someone can afford to pay $20 (17 eur) does not know how to control his/her spending?
Even though I gained quite a lot of levels these past few days, it's been a miserable experience. I've been trying a bunch of off-meta decks like a Miracle C'Thun Rogue, Fire and Ice Mage, and a Deathrattle Hunter (the latter two I got from Kibler). While I like the decks, the meta is just so fast for them that I just keep dying to the multitudes of aggro and burn decks out there. So many losses. I ended up playing Doomhammer Elemental Shaman to make up for it; I went on a 10-game winning streak but hated myself all the while.
Just a shitty meta all around. Any meta being ruled by face decks is a dumb one.
I agree, that the aggro meta is just too fast and dying by turn 5-6 does not allow to play the game. I do not play as much as the last expansion as well, hitting level 175
Fair would it would be if there is no Revolve
Actually it will not be 10/10 as it will take damage.
And yes, you cannot remove taunt with it as it does not have rush. But still an interesting card.
Hearthstone is NOT a Warcraft canon.
You know, Scholomance Academy was also out of time.

No, this is a source of income for Blizzard for cosmetics
SI-7 Anduin and his "Wow. Just... wow" is superior BM
Except ypu have this card draw so you will not have that much card
8 games played, no opponent with Nozdormu. Standard ranked EU
What is the win condition? I cannot see any.

It may help enable flesh giant but still is awful removal and not good as a sustaining/healing too

Than I stopped tracking.

Devouring Plague is unplayable, just compare it to Drain Life - half cost and you can target the damage to any minion

I would go for 2 mana, deal 2 damage, 2 turn dormancy. This way it could be 2-2-2
Nevertheless I love the flavour.

The design is cool but I do not think Warrior should have a better minion removal than Fireball (I know, it cannot go face but still)
