I don't care this will see play or not. Funnier than Fatespinner because it is not so funny when there are 2 options to guess.
This has great pool and so funny mechanic. It is like a randomly gathered pokemon egg. I love the idea of this card. Shame it won't be in high tier decks but I appreciete that this is in the game.
5-star card for the creativity ! 2-star card for the reality...
I hope someone will find a way to abuse this because I can't find one right now.
After Flamewaker's leave, this might find a place in mage lists but I don't think it will be Flamewaker level-of frustrating. It seems it will be a fair card that can destroy you if you are not able to remove it asap.
You can't answer those Flamewakers because they are finishing you off when you see them. Chenvaala is a fair card for a fair mechanic imo.
You don't want to use this card in a token deck. Your tokens doesn't even get those buffs unless they are copies of card itself like Oasis Surger. This card has nothing to do in token decks unless you build it with cards like Oasis Surger and those are quite high-costed cards in general.
Deck tailoring for community is really easy because there is netdecking fact. Noone has to tailor their decks, someone will do that for them. That's why I hate netdecking so much. Intelligence is nothing in this game. If you can pilot a deck, you can simply win in this game. Noone worries about deckbuilding skills because of shitty netdecking fact.
I still think that it is fair enough to compare this card with Prince Keleseth. You will not care the mana costs at late game because what it really matters for the deck that you use this spell (unless it is a big archetype) is early and mid game. It will be an aggro deck that you use and you will try to finish-off your opponent until 7th-8th turn and you will know already that your opponent will be powerful in late game. Even the "if i can't mulligan Emibggen" fact is the same with Prince Keleseth. If you can't draw it, you simply play a normal aggro game with your minions' normal stats. If you are good enough in deckbuilding and lucky enough to draw Embiggen in first turns of the game, you can also convert an old aggro deck into a mid-range deck with this card either. Tailoring your deck around +1/+2 cost isn't that hard in my opinion. There are plenty of cards that are better if they get even +1/+1 and 1 mana is almost a vanilla 1/2 minion's cost. This gives +2/+2 to a minion with +1 cost which is more than vanilla stats. 3 mana 4/4 Knife Juggler or 4 mana 6/6 with double ticks for example. This doesn't bother an aggro deck to mid-range deck conversion in my opinion. I can give you some more fancy examples of minions here;
I am planning to build a deck with Potion Vendor, Lifeweaver, Injured Blademaster, Injured Tol'vir, Neferset Ritualist, Crystallizer, Crystal Stag etc. Kind of a combo priest deck with this new Embiggen card. That will be for honor of Lifeweaver because i like her too much while considering the deck will not be good enough but I am saying you to consider the minions I have mentioned above and the minions like them, Can't give all the examples here for my time. I think you are little underestimating the Embiggen.
Time will tell; if the decks around this card will be so oppressive and strong like I said or not very strong as you said. I still think that the card is so powerful for both big and aggro-to-midrange archetypes.
Edit: It was not a question tho, it was an indicator and sarcasm like "You know that you can set your mana curve around it, why do you still act like that you can't build your deck around this card.". I hate to explain this kind of things, you know.
I did predicted [Hearthstone Card (Alexstrazsa) Not Found] being Hunter's legendary loooooong long ago with other aspects being in Druid, Mage and Paladin together.
I am a bit disappointed by seeing her in neutral at first glance but loved it right after I saw Premordial Dragon theme in hunter.
I loved her mechanic too so much. If i can't drop one, it is an instant craft for me for sure.
There must be some other pirates than Kobold Stickyfinger in this expansion to make us want to play this card.
I don't think they just printed him for this weapon.
I don't like playing aggro generally but I am really concerned about this card because I concerned about where hearthstone goes. It is a concern about expansion design.
We are able to make a full aoe priest in wild if priest gets more aoe.
I really don't understand this wisdom. There are actually no finisher effect for priest. What will we do with tons of aoe spells in this class ? Inner Fire for 6 years isn't enough ?
Design some creative finishers for priest other than Inner Fire so we can use those aoes in it.
There is no doubt the card is great btw. Nothing to say more.
This card isn't a meme. You can say that a failed mechanic if it won't see play but you can't say that this is a meme.
good stats, good tag, Great upside, otk potential, nice tempo etc.
Btw, keep those in mind;
1- Some cards don't see play because of popularity, not because of they are bad.
2- Some cards are meant to exist in the game because of balance issues (low statted-high costed cards for balancing Evolve mechanics for example).
3- Some cards meant to be good in arena, not in ladder.
If you are playing only one mode, popular stuff etc., Some cards seem bad to you but it doesn't mean they are bad or they are designed for memes. You can say that Renounce Darkness is a meme card but it isn't same with this card.
Needs some lifegain and protection. It is a great target for removals so can be used to distarct opponents to consume their removals. Might not work tho.
Smaller Inkmaster Solia. She wasn’t good enough then, and isn’t good enough in Wild. Is the change in cost, condition, or meta enough? *shrug* I’ll try it if I get it.
one mana is a huge difference (allows Pyro + Fireball for isntance). Also you don't need to necessarily go Reno, not to mention Solia never saw Pocket Galaxy in Standard, so there's that.
Yeah, Sometimes you need to use Flamestrike on turn 6 but can't use it because of its cost, This card also makes some cards useable earlier. I liked it more than Inkmaster Solia because its restriction feels safer than Solia imo.
They really are afraid of giving mage cheap face spells didn't they ?
I agree with them even though it is opposite to mage's class identity but would love them if they build one or two cards for an expansion to stay in standard for a year so we are able to play some Malygos Mages.
Ok card in dragon decks, also even ok without dragons tho. 2 dmg for 1 is ok-ish effect.
I don't care this will see play or not. Funnier than Fatespinner because it is not so funny when there are 2 options to guess.

Better Youthful Brewmaster for dragons. That's all.
Good value generator but still might not see play if power level of the meta so high and it seems like it will be very very high.
If Galakrond Warrior will be a thing, this card might be one of the most frustrating cards ever be printed.
After Flamewaker's leave, this might find a place in mage lists but I don't think it will be Flamewaker level-of frustrating. It seems it will be a fair card that can destroy you if you are not able to remove it asap.

Belligerent Gnome; 3 mana 3/5, 4/5 if there is 2 minions on board;
Pint-Sized Summoner; 3 mana 4/4 with (1) mana cost reduction;
Shieldbreaker; 3 mana 4/3 with taunt silence;
Faerie Dragon; 3 mana 5/4 Can't be targeted...
Worgen Infiltrator; 2 mana 4/3 stealth
Swamp Leech; 2 mana 4/3 lifesteal
Bloodsail Corsair; 2 mana 3/4 weapon distrupt.
Argent Squire; 2 mana 3/3 Divine Shield (Which is 4 mana in classic set)
Bluegill Warrior; 3 mana 4/3 Charge
Master Swordsmith; 3 mana 3/5, +1 attack some other minion every turn.
Even Wisp is 1 mana 3/3.
etc.

I love this kind of comments. Thank you, you made my day!
Did i say anything about usefullness? It was about the mechanic's quality and rarity.
Damn I can't believe that you didn't understand and forced me to clarify my comment...
I am playing this game since beginning, i saw enough to evaluate card's rarity.
Try to understand the comment next time before you reply.

Gryphons are one of the most awaited stuff by me. Now they come widely after we see some in former expansions.
to be honest, I didn't expect them themed in Hunter, but i got them and that's a thing.
I love how Blizzard wants to make more money from making meme cards always epic/legendary.
If you want to play meme, you will need more gold/dust to drop/craft them;
If you want to play ladder, you will need more gold/dust to drop/craft them;
Best mode is arena for sure and that mode costs gold/money for itself.
Nice marketing strategy tbh.

This text should belong to Harrison Jones thematically.
Nice card, nice mechanic on a pirate tag. I wonder what other pirates we will get this expansion since there is that legendary weapon of warrior.

Lifedrinker is still a better option among this but it will leave soon so this might be a good option to replace it.
Needs some lifegain and protection. It is a great target for removals so can be used to distarct opponents to consume their removals. Might not work tho.
It also counters Stowaway. if it will be a part of a dominant deck, this card will see more play with all of those highlander decks.
Well, I liked the card but didn't like the art. It doesn't look like an albatross.
Yeah, Sometimes you need to use Flamestrike on turn 6 but can't use it because of its cost, This card also makes some cards useable earlier. I liked it more than Inkmaster Solia because its restriction feels safer than Solia imo.

Ok card in dragon decks, also even ok without dragons tho. 2 dmg for 1 is ok-ish effect.
I would like to see those eggs as dormant when you play Nithogg to be hatch on next turn.
It might be too op tho but would be a nice idea.
So after Rogue and Warlock and Priest and Mage and Paladin, Shaman can play other classes' cards. (I'm not counting MSotG cards)
I like this kind of effects being random. If you can control them, you can abuse them. Better in this way.
Will go in my Archologist Shaman deck if I drop it from a pack. Not in my craft range.
