Ridiculous card for ridiculous time. There were many ways of print a card like this but not that overpowered. As always blizzard chooses the overpowered one.
They simply say that "You can't play mid-range Hunter." even after we gave you Stormhammer.
So, the 2 priest legendaries didn't do a shit by itself and depends of the enemy cards. And this dragon don't activate the batllecry of the "played" minions.
Nice one, Blizzard.
That card is inconsistent, you can replicate a huge minion or a board clear, but... it's not worth.
it "plays" the card, not summons so battlecrys should be activated imo.
I only wonder target spells and battlecrys tho. Will they be random or for example if my opponent plays Fireballs to my face, it plays the Fireball to my face again. It would be bad.
I've seen the video reveal.
A jaina played Yogg-Saron, Hope's End and then, Anduin played Murozond the Infinite summoning Yoggy without casting random spells, maybe in that game Anduin didn't casted spells, we will see next week how works. :)
And, yes, target are choosen randomly.
thanks for that information, i still couldn't find the video to confirm what I thought. :)
the text says Play, and when you play a card that triggers the battlecry, the battlecry doesn't trigger only when you summon a minion
I would assume it does indeed trigger battlecries
some people says that Tess Greymane also says play(replay) and doesn't trigger battlecrys. That's why i'm waiting for a confirmation. Murozond the Infinite might or might not trigger battlecrys. We can only guess without confirmations.
But Tess Greymane “plays” cards without getting their battlecries. People are assuming this works the same way.
Blizzard is inconsistent. We all know that. I am still waiting a confirmation or want to see this in play. I can only be convinced when I saw it in action.

Bad design for me. It must read as "Rush, Battlecry: If you attack a dragon with this, Gain +4/+4 for this turn." which will lose +4/+4 buff at the end of turn and can gain it again if you try to attack a minion. since it is meant to counter dragons, not all big minions or punish other little minions with huge stats stays on the battlefield.
When you see Brightwing on the battlefield and some other risky minion, This should not gain stats to counter them. That's not good thematically.
Seems a bit more powerful than it meant to be with this way. All of the explorer dragons make this 8/8 on t4. It is so powerful. we are paying some price to play 8/8 Giants or fat Edwin VanCleef on t4. This just becomes 8/8 with an explorer on the battlefield. This is just ridiculous.
One of other mechanics of Demacia is Mageseekers. I would like to see them in the article as well but you forgot them because they didn't do well in the preview, I presume. :)
Demacians don't like magic so well, Tianna Crownguard wants Lux to be a warrior than a Mage and even their all in-game quotes are about that. So, thematically and mechanically Mageseeker cards that discards spells, synergizes with spells etc, is one of the mechanics and themes of the Demacia. Btw, the only silence-like cards in demacia as well, one is a spell, and one is a minion that has been reworked on second preview and she is a mageseeker too.
I am saying that because it is possible to see more Mageseeker cards in Demacia in future in my opinion.
Expecting to see more of them if there will be a champion in Mageseeker group.
do you know that you can set your mana curve around this card ?
In a Zoo-like deck you can build a deck around it.
Prince Keleseth decks did not have 2-cost cards but still were too powerful. You can use 2-cost cards with it and make them cost 3 with this card. Almost same with Prince Keleseth.
it is easy to build a deck around mana curve. Simply put 1-cost cards to consider them 2-cost, put 2-cost cards consider them 3-cost etc.
Yes it is very strong because it makes big archetypes + zoo archetypes better at the same time.
I just tried to work it so much times in all classes but never worked because I couldn't remove Corrupted Bloods.
don't say it doesn't work because of this expansion's other powerful cards, I'm speaking for wild here. Happy that we can now use Hakkar, the Soulflayer with other than Paladin and Rogue.
Edit: Sorry, it is mentioned in card's thread by @UVE . Just checked it out yet.

Good for early, meh for late.
Still useable against those 1-2 health early minions in the meta and lackeys.
between 3 and 4 stars imo.

I couldn't find the video, can you share a link?
If you say so, we should play Murozond after some useful spells or taunt/Deathrattle minions. I am disappointed.

I think the Shudderwock that is played by Murozond the Infinite might repeat your battlecrys. We don't have any confirmations yet.
-Hey, There is a little 1/1 murloc, Let's make it 5/4 with Rush.
Can be good in Galakrond Warlock too with those 1/1 imps and in Zoolock.

So, He can play and decrease dragon's mana costs (2) more if your opponent plays Frizz Kindleroost last turn ?
It would be good if it activates battlecries.
seems she won't be added for a long time since they are designing new regions now.
But probably will come with Vi.
Sorry for you.
You dont need acolyte in warlock tho.
No, spelldamage isn't good with this since you will basically spend 1-3 damage ticks of this card to your minion with spelldamage.
Better to use when you don't but your oppenent has minions on board.
Iirc, spelldamage buff disappears when you kill with first damage wave of Defile so it should be same for this card.
Little Volcano. Can be effective in early game against aggro.
I know that but more balanced in my opinion.
Dragon explorers; Bronze Explorer and Azure Explorer makes this 8/6 in turn 4. That's normal for you ? Not for me tbh.
If they made some more cheap neutral dragons for this expansion, they also made them unplayable with this minion basically. That's bad for the game.
Midrange decks that aggroes the aggrodecks more than them. Just ridiculous.

This is epic and Platebreaker is common ?
I'm just laughing to what you did here Blizzard !
Another nice article !

noone mentioned but this enables Hakkar, the Soulflayer for all classes.
