Apotheosis is... really not OP. It's an overcosted buff with lifesteal and yes, it punishes aggro for leaving a big minion. Just like Arbor Up punishes a player for leaving druid a wide board. Just like Totemic Reflections punishes someone who leaves up a good totem against shaman.
And Samuro is still a legendary in a class that has very limited card draw. Priest in general has very unreliable access to good boardclears.
Unless all you play is aggro/midrange against priest and not play around large minions possibly getting lifesteal, I don't see how a card like this could inspire such hate.
It's... it's priest. The class that is good at healing. That's currently one of the main things it does?
Am I the only one who thinks this looks pretty unimpressive as of now? Like, don't get me wrong, I am all in favour of something new and different but so far the battlefield looks pretty stale and doesn't leave much room for all the polish the other modes have. So much of HS' charm is animations and FX and so far this appears like a glorified puzzle mode that may not live up to the hype. Maybe I am just wary considering this is the only mode in HS that doesn't use cards.
I hope my impression is wrong, though. I really want this to be good.
There is really no clean way to make an informed statement here. Statistics tell us that false accusations are incredibly rare so really, if you don't decide from the start which side you believe to tell the truth, that's the closest you can come to the truth.
The thing is, in this specific case, Zalae just hasn't really defended himself and it honestly looks like he was just waiting for it to all go away if he just didn't address it. And if you look at alleged victim and abuser's mannerisms, the allegations seem like they... fit. The way zalae presents himself on stream looks less and less like a played character and more of a state of mind. He shows zero empathy, displays very arrogant patterns of interaction with chat and constantly pushes himself to be fitter and more efficient. Meanwhile Rini in her video is fidgety, nervous, intimidated and still somehow worried about Zalae (as in, instead of showing a desire to hurt him or his career, she voices concern about him and his issues).
Taking everything about their profiles into account, Rini's account makes sense. It all fits and if you scroll through the comments, you find a lot of people who know Zalae's mannerisms be entirely unsurprised.
So yeah, personally? I usually believe the victim. And in this case I just also feel very confident in believing the victim.
I have to agree with Frosty. Stickyfinger was a very needed tech card against decks that relied too much on one weapon and due to Hoard Pillager it was the ONLY real tech option. Evolve Shaman would have been even worse without this little beloved larcenist being around to stand in their way.
Forged in the Barrens card packs opened before visiting the Reward Track, and during Pre-Release weekend, can contain Blademaster Samuro or Golden Mankrik (in place of another Legendary card).
To address this, full Dust refunds will be available for the week following Pre-Release, this applies to golden Mankrik, non-golden Blademaster Samuro, and golden Blademaster Samuro.
Does this mean that it would be recommended to open the packs before visitting the rewards track since getting any of those basically means "free legendary of your choosing"?
This may be really good against any deck that plays big minions (could even be played alongside a Death to deal with a Yogg that just ate an entire board) but is rather useless against aggro.
I wonder if this would steal anything from another 1/1 minion. Will the effect just not trigger in the first place or will it only check after its first "steal"?
Does anybody know if you need to gain the attack at once or can you accumulate 4 attack with the hero power over 4 turns?
Well.... people DID demand a win condition for priest.

I don't play Runeterra and know virtually nothing about it but I love Chip.

Now I am even more upset about Shadowform's nerf....
YOOOO this is amazing! This is how you develop a narrative, well played, Team 5!
I am no longer upset about Desperate Measures leaving Standard :'D
I am not looking forward to getting hit in the face by a 5/2 on turn 2...
Frost Nova is good. For 1 more mana you get a 3/3 body with it. And then on top it can also deal damage if you really want to.
Great in combination with other freeze effects, solid without. Why would you not play this card in mage?
Oh boy, here we go again with the mana cheating....

Depending on what spells will be shadow spells, this may be really damn good...
Pop this into any token deck and drop it down after you made a board and it may give your opponent a hard time.
I cannot imagine this being bad. Your opponent will have to deal with it unless they are a combo deck.
Very good card but may be a little slow. Stuff like Desperate Measures is rotating out so that is too bad.
Xyrella is definitely the card to play this with but still if that is the only payoff card, I doubt it will be reliable enough of a combo.
