Actually, if you play the skelesaurus hex encounter in LoE and conjurers one of the minions it gives you for 0, the resulting minions will also be 0-costs, even if the original minion wasn't. So the "coding" is already there.
I feel a change to the mage class, and in general. Evolve effects and conjurers calling effects should only be affected by the actual cost of the minion.
you cheat out a giant turn 4, you get 4cost minions from conjurer. You use evolve or mutate on the 7 cost rush shaman card, you get whatever it cost when played. Same as sea giant.
This makes it harder to cheat out and snowball on minions of this type.
this is a very good idea, I never understood why it doesn't work like tha
You know what is funny? I play the skelesaurus rex encounter in the LoE adventure a lot for fun and he gives both players a card each turn that is reduced to 0. If you evolve or conjurer a minion that was reduced that way, it will consider th eminion a 0-cost for that purpose, despite being on board. So the mechanic is THERE but for some reason not in the main game
Every week I hope for another Battle at Tol Barad brawl because. It's been over a year. Instead we get another crossroads brawl, one that has 3 different iterations that keep getting repeated over and over. I get that many people like the fully random ones but I wish that if they do repeats, they would be a little more evenly repeated.
They did add the beasts of Rise of Shadows to the pool despite at this point Rexxar already having rotated out. So I'm just gonna be optimistic they' keep this trend goig.
Is buff-priest gonna be a thing now? I guess the one big hurdle is to actually restore 15 HP but it might not be something you eed to build a deck around.
true, but that would require the control deck really having no way to deal with it. Consider that the current contro ldecks are warrior with Omega Devastator and MAYBE shaman with access to cards like Hex and Plague of Murlocs
I think at 4 mana it's not really strong enough, considering it would only delay an aggro deck and do nothing against control/combo. I feel like the way to use it is in the lategame, either to heal yourself for 10 or to protect an important minion.
Definitely my favourite card so far. Interested what shenanigans will be possible with this going forward as I am already thereocrafting decks with wild cards.
I was really hoping for some Shadowform support after Death Knights rotated out of standart but I'm not keeping my hopes up, considering we are getting Hero-power-based quests.
Sooo.. right now the only taunt minions in warrior(standart) are the Shagg/Flunky and the Armagedillo... I guess we will have a lot of discover-itself-situations...
I have a Jade Shaman that utilises Brann Bronzebeard and Rummaging Kobold. On turn 10 you can do Brann into Kobold into Jade Claws into Jade Claws, adding 2 jade triggers to the shudderwock pool and summoning 4 Jade golems.
Rummaging Kobold also makes your shudderwock give you more jade triggers!
1. More nerfs and buffs more often, maybe every 2 or 3 weeks. Don't let the meta settle. ALso give smore chances to adress problem cards like Barnes
2. Allowing to select from old tavern brawls in friendly matches. Some TBs have been incredibly fun but happen so rarely. Would be great if we at least yould do the privately with a friend.
3. Reduce the pack prices. I feel the current rates are ridiculously high, considering to get a prepurchase of an expansion (which are usually better deals) you pay the same or more than for a full new game release.
I mean, if you think about it, the good guys don't exactly get less. Every class still gets the same amount of cards as any other, it's just that the bad guys get a set of cards that is thematically connected. Yes, they made a big deal out of the plagues as "Cards that affect both sides of the board" but that's not THAT special if you consider druid once got Poison Seeds printed. Or Mage got Dragon's Fury.
And that's the cool thing about the themed cards. They can be asymmetrically disributed without it being a big issue for the game.
Been on a warpath with khadgar in the dalaran heist lately. Two times in a row I managed to get to him with the Golden Candle, turning everything into legendaries. First time one of my minions turns into a madjordomo while I have 140 health. He gets lethal next turn because of it. The next time he gets 2 sylvanas generated, stealing my biggest minions back to back. I know it's supposed to be a wrong boss but DAMMN, it stings so much more to die because of RNG in a fight like that....
Doctor Boom gives all your minions Rush and Frostlich Jaina gives them all Lifesteal. Hard to pull off but when you do, OH BOY

It resummons the original minion with reborn every time!

Pretty sure he stated publicly he won't reveal the card at all. That's been over a week ago.

True that! Completly forgot that as a card for a moment.
It's a Jungle Panther that draws you an Ancestral Spirit. Seems alright!

Does anyone kno if Rafaam can get the stargazing treasure? So far I have only seen it offered with Lazul...
