Not only that, you can potentially craft a golden version to profit even more from a HoF rotation. Also, they were talking about a classic rework a couple months ago, the process might differ substantially from the typical HoF.
The safest thing to do when you don’t play him rn is to disenchant him anyways. If you want to make profit on a future HoF Rotation, you still can craft him with no loss. (You just reinvest the 1600 dust you got today). This even would allow you to craft the golden version for the HoF rotation wich is a bigger profit.
I liked this one the most so far! Interesting HP’s, good story line (slowing things are coming together) and decently balanced. The story of the Lich King makes me want to play WoW ..
My achievements are super laggy on mobile. It has trouble loading the page when I scroll down and pulls me back up to the top when I claim an achievement.
Shaman is strong because everyone techs against DH. Every deck with a couple good board clears counters Shaman hard and the meta would shift accordingly when shaman becomes OP.
The HP is very similar to pre nerf Rakanishu. In other words.. pretty bad. You most likely don’t want to push it early because it’s such a high tempo loss and it’s almost irrelevant later. I bet they’ll buff it to start with repeat once. Giving +1/+2 would kill the flavor..
Also with this little taunt reborn plus the other new card, Thijs revealed, taunt is getting a lot more relevant. Maybe there will be a strong 6 drop with taunt synergy?
Hey Folks, the hysteria over the cost of the game is still going strong on Reddit and various other platforms. While I don’t think, that the battle pass itself is a major issue, I agree that the lack of transparency and the cost of the game in general is.
I’m personally fine with paying around 300€ a year for the game I love and spend more time on than Netflix and Spotify combined. But the many discussions got me thinking about different ways for blizzard to make money with Hearthstone. So here, for discussions sake, a economy system proposition.
A perfect economy would imo be, were F2P complete a set before the next expansions drops. People that spend money, get a head start that is larger or smaller, depending on the money invested. With 80€/$, you should definitely unlock 95% of an expansion right away. Extra resources, these players accumulate over the 3 following months, can be invested into cosmetics of all different sorts or content of older sets.
So far, so easy. But I guess the revenue for Blizzard would be to low since once you got a stock of Resources, you can get you head start for free every following expansion. My solution: Cards of the newest expansion aren’t purchasable with gold, nor are they craftable with dust from previous expansions. The newest expansion should have a completely separate economy. This obviously requires a VERY generous system that allows F2P players to accumulate a lot of cards on the first days-weeks. And as I said, at the end of an expansion everyone should have completed the set. This system would have a couple major advantages:
- F2P can keep up with the game (even though they miss out on the fun of week one - but that’s mostly the case already)
- The focus is brought back to “collectible” card game. You slowly complete your collection through the months and don’t just buy day 1 and start saving for the next expansion again.
- People don’t have the incentive to dust old and niche cards, that might become meta in the future or relevant in other game modes.
- People are more limited in what they can play. This one is bitter sweet, I know. But it could result in a much longer lasting variety and prevent the meta from settling down to quickly... on the cost of the first month being P2W. Witch is acceptable imo, since F2P should catch up rather quickly.
- New players can slowly catch up since they don’t need to collect cards of multiple sets simultaneously. After one year at most, they should be on par with everyone else.
- A separate economy for the newest set would allow blizzard to lower the price of older expansions by a lot since people can’t take advantage of that so easily and can’t convert purchased resources into new cards.
Tl;dr: Everyone gets a full collection over time but you have to pay to access the cards early on. The additional resources you accumulate over the course of an expansion can be invested into older expansions or cosmetics but not saved for future expansions.
Disclaimer: I haven’t taken the time to think this 100% through since I doubt it having any relevance. There are certainly some flaws with such a system that I didn’t think about. The current currencies would probably need a complete overhaul.
Do you think, such a system would hurt blizzards revenue?
This has strictly no impact mate, go for that 20% boost as soon as you can! Doesn’t matter what level you are.
Lets say you need 50k exp total to reach the boost. It doesn’t matter where you got that exp from, the boost only applies to the exp gains after the 50k mark.
The only litter optimization you could do, is not overshooting the boost by hundreds of exp with your weekly quest reward, since that’s exp, the boost could have been applied on But we’re talking about +-50 exp here so that’s nothing to worry about.
I play a list with a demon package and the new 3/4 demon that gives lifesteal. This can surprise opponents greatly and completely turn the table! Also 10 less cards for DH‘s is relevant more often than not. I find it easier to destroy their resources than to try combat against all their healing. One less marrow slicer here, a twin slice there and suddenly they‘re lacking the damage for a final push! The matchup is still unfavored ofc but you can put up a serious fight
It‘s still a bonus for a minority of players. Everything higher would have been unfair. It‘s just stupid to riot over every single decision they are making just because Reddit has gone mad.
It’s a fun deck but a little clunky. I like that it doesn’t include Maxima since trowing a Darkmoon tonk at your opponent is a little to good to be true. Oblivitron works surprisingly well! Especially with the brooms. While probably necessary, the ursatrons are oftentimes underwhelming when you get to resurrect your deathrattles. I found myself shuffling them away in the mulligan almost every time. They are a good plan B in lategame to find the much needed Tonks but serve no purpose early and are harmful for your resurrects. Now that I think of it, this deck could do really good with an eagle horn bow ...
The biggest flaw of the deck is the lack of comeback potential. Compared to the face hunters, it can’t just close out the game without a board. So I made some changes and they feel very beneficial to win and keep the board early:
- 2x Carrion studies (there is a minor benefit in reducing the mana cost of your deathrattle minions but you pay with an early tempo loss. The discovered deathrattle is counter synergistic to your win strategy. It probably made the list just because it showed up when filtering the collection for “deathrattle” )
- 2x Mystery winner (secrets are cool but you got already a lot of them. I wasn’t lacking secrets for petting zoo a single time without this card)
+ 2x Dwarven sharpshooter
+ 2x tour guide
Those 2 allow you to capitalize greatly on your phase stalkers and gives a little more early board pressure. Especially the high roll Tour guide - Phase stalker - petting zoo is worth this inclusion.

Fun Video, gotta try that one out.

Nothing Special but annoying.

Do I have to part ways with my golden polket now....?
We’ll see if I deserve the downvotes for C’thun but at least I was right on the taunt “tribe” :

Why did I whisper that in my head (thanks Trump
Love those posts! There are generally one or two between them that are good enough for a whacky legend grind
Monthly orexpansion winrate would be great! Also, I’d be cool to see the stats of a specific deck when hovering over it.
Average result for arena and duels or even better, a tracker of your runs that shows results per class per arena cycle.

- A 240€/year player
That was my thought process as well. Threw some totem synergy together without actual totems in the deck. I‘m doing pretty good so far!
After about 10 games I played yogg once ..
and it wasn’t even mine, I plagiarized the one from my opponent!
Are the miscreants enough to justify Toggwaggle though? Otherwise I like it
