  • I have high hopes for Dragon Paladin with this card. Dragon Speaker and Dragonrider Talritha greatly benefit this card since Lifesteal scales well with attack.  Along with Amber Watcher, a very survivable control-ish Dragon Paladin seems viable.  This also super synergizes with Talritha since it generates a new dragon for her to jump to guaranteed.

  • A good effect, but too slow given it doesn't have taunt.  Sadly, another card that makes past legendaries feel less legendary (RIP Chillmaw).

  • I initially had my doubts, but I think I'm coming around to the card.  On a low roll, lets say this thing becomes a 3 mana 3/3 Deathrattle: summon a 3/3.  That doesn't seem too bad at all, and that's a low roll.  You can't abuse this deathrattle with cards like Embalming Ritual or Wretched Reclaimer, but it seems like it could be a decent play in a tempo-style Priest deck.  My main disappointment is that Kriziki wasn't the Priest legendary when this was her time to fly.

  • Neat, but I still don't see Dragon Hunter being a thing.  The payoff for running dragons in Hunter just doesn't seem good enough, especially the number of dragons needed to make the extra durability more than just +1.  I end up hating this card not because I don't like the design, but because it's a damn Hunter card.  Why on earth is the STORMHAMMER not a Shaman card?  STORM and HAMMER are some of the most Shaman words I can think of and have literally nothing to do with Hunter.  It's just a massive flavor miss for me.

  • A very cool card, I like the design a lot.  Unfortunately, it does not bring enough consistency or disruption that it warrants a spot in any decks.  It's too expensive and too inconsistent compared to other disruption effects.

  • Smaller Doomsayer might be enough to see play, but I doubt it considering how strong other new cards are.  Doesn't seem good enough to have priority over other cards, but only time will tell.

  • Very high-rolly in the same vein as Prince Keleseth.  If you can drop her on turn 4, your winrate likely skyrockets since you can pull off some SERIOUS shenanigans.

  • I think this card is good for the variety of decks it can be put in.  Pogo, Espionage, and Waxadred.  It should be pretty easy to get Waxadred's deathrattle to proc a couple of times with the Necrium cards, so this could feasibly just summon 2 Waxadreds the turn its played.

  • It has the issues of Chameleos and Shifter Zerus, but the strength of Floop.  I personally like him a lot since he seems like a fun card that can make for some pretty cool moments, but he's too inconsistent for non-meme constructed.

  • Quite disappointed in this one.  I was expecting some cool lightning-themed effect for the Shaman dragon, not eggs.  It's not an awful card itself, but it pales in comparison to so many of the other cards we have seen that I don't think it will find a place in the upcoming meta.

  • You can just a few dragons in a spell-spam Mage deck and then this becomes really good. Azure Explorer already fits the bill for this type of deck very nicely.

  • It's a cheaper Inkmaster Solia, more or less.  However, it does pave the way for a Control Dragon Mage and will 100% see play in a Highlander Dragon Mage.

  • Nifty card, has interesting use in stopping Highlander decks.  Might see play as a tech card in aggressive decks.

  • It has interesting value as a Control Warlock finisher, but it means that you have to be at a place where you are fine with damaging your hero and also have a way to easily proc his effect.  There is the obvious turn 10 play this and tap, but I think that might be too slow for something that does not immediately impact that board with taunt or rush.  If there meta shifts toward a lot of late-game decks, this seems really good.  Otherwise, I'm not sure it's guaranteed a spot in decklists.

  • This card spooks me so fking much.  Quest Shaman already felt like it had a decent amount of burst, but I think this might push it over the top.  There are so many cheap ways to overload mana that this seems extremely easy to proc.  Even without the 10 damage from the completed quest, something like a turn 5 Zap into this or a turn 6 Sludge Slurper into this is extremely efficient at contesting the board.

  • There is some meme deck to be had here, just unsure what or if it will be memey enough compared to the likes of Desert Obelisk and Mogu Cultist.  Also, I think this year might have more raven cards than the Year of the Raven.

  • A VERY powerful tech card against specific opponents, but its limited use means that it is solely meta dependent.  It's about as limited as Eater of Secrets in that unless the decks it counters explicitly are in the meta, it won't see play.

  • Not an oustanding breath, but Control Priest is looking better and better.  That said, Control Priest could become the new Control Warrior in that it's miserable to play against with so many ways to kill minions.

  • Was not expecting a legendary weapon, let alone one for pirate warrior in THE dragon expansion.  Seems decent, an Aggro/Midrange Pirate Galakrond Warrior seems like it could be good with so many damaging and drawing effects.

  • Will it be played competitively? Absolutely not.  Will there be great times had with meme decks? Absolutely.  I was initially worried that this might replace Rafaam in Plot Twist Warlock, but it anti-synergizes with the Quest reward.
