  • incredible card. Will see play in nearly every Y'Shaarj, the Defiler deck. Not all of them probably want them, depending on what kind of Y'Shaarj, the Defiler deck you use. 0 mana 6/6 taunt is nothing to scoff at. Other cards that did something familiar are Anubisath Defender and Arcane Tyrant, and those see/saw a lot of succes. The only thing i can say that's bad about Strongman is that you need to play a 8+ cost card in order to corrupt it. But it still is powerful after casting big spells like Twisting Nether and Power of Creation

  • Nice, a new ogre so people can include it in their "all ogre" meme deck. but other then that, this is just an arena card. But i really like that they changed the text to "50% chance to hit the correct target" instead of "50% chance to hit the wrong target". Sure it means the exact same, but i still like it.

  • Uncorrupted it's a 4 mana Assassinate, and if you play a few more expansive cards it's going to remove even more stuff. Seems pretty good, even uncorrupted. Seems like a good control/OTK warlock card, because those decks love removal. And Cascading Disaster is pretty good uncorrupted as well. It's not that hard to be in a situation where your opponent only has 1 threat on board.

Standard: I'm sure OTK Warlock and controllock will probably use it, however i feel like Cascading Disaster won't see play in warlock decks with Deck of Chaos, because the goal of that deck is to make as many as possible cards cheap...

Wild: this card might see play in Cubelock and renolock. Those decks have some expensive cards so it's easy to corrupt it.

  • Turn 6 7 drop i guess? Lemme check 7 drops real quick....

Best pulls in standard are: Keymaster Alabaster, Skeletal Dragon and Evasive Drakonid.

Best pulls (including the standard cards) in wild are: Confessor Paletress and Prophet Velen.

Worst pulls in standard are: Barrens Stablehand, Silas Darkmoon and Chef Nomi.

Worst pulls (including the standard cards) in wild are: Azalina Soulthief, Corridor Creeper and Darkmire Moonkin

Situationally bad or good cards: Baron Geddon and in wild: Chillmaw.

Seems like a really situational card, but i feel like it's going to be a must-include in Y'Shaarj, the Defiler decks because of the free 7 drops. Also in priest it's very easy to corrupt this, as priest generally has multiple big removal spells or they have Galakrond in hand, ready to be played on turn 7. (And the obvious turn 5 Convincing Infiltrator) Now that i think about it, Auspicious Spirits reminds me a lot of Free From Amber, which was often a must include back when it was in standard. Sure Auspicious Spirits summons a random 7 drop instead of a discovered 8 drop, but at least Auspicious Spirits can be played multiple times from Y'Shaarj, the Defiler.

Standard: Control, Y'Shaarj, the Defiler & Galakrond Priest will run it.

Wild: Not sure if it's that good. Ress/Big priest doesn't want this as it's too inconsistant, but i feel like Raza priest might experiment with it at the very least. But i feel like they will drop the card after a few days and pretent it doesn't exist.

  • Pretty good lifesteal minion, and lifesteal is pretty good because of Il'gynoth. Insatiable Felhound is basicly a cheaper Ashtongue Battlelord with +1 health after corrupting it.

Standard: Will probably see play in decks with a lot of 4+ cost cards like Marrowslicer, so i think it will see play in Soul DH.

Wild: ODD Costed, but i don't think ODD DH want's this because it's too slow. DH Is a strong class in wild though, so if [Hearthstone Card (Insationable Felhound) Not Found] sees plenty of play in standard, it probably will see decent play in wild as well. After all, a good standard DH deck can also be a good deck in wild.

  • Interesting card. Seems good with Y'Shaarj, the Defiler for a free 4/3 weapon. But outside of that, it's a bit outclasses as a weapon by Marrowslicer. Sure Marrowslicer has 1 less durability, but Marrowslicer is a better topdeck then Felsteel Executioner. I don't think some kind of control DH deck with N'Zoth, God of the Deep would run this, because it's just a 4/2. And i don't think the words "Demonhunter" and "Control deck" fit in a single sentence...

Standard: Dunno what kinda deck wants this, maybe aggro DH? But i feel like they prefer to run Satyr Overseer instead on their 3 slot.. But i dunno if they would add Felsteel Executioner purely to get a weapon...

Wild: This fits in ODD DH, and in ODD DH Felsteel Executioner hardly has any competition in terms of weapons. The only other weapon ODD DH can run is [Hearthstone Card (Aldrachi Warglaives) Not Found]. So i'm pretty sure ODD DH is running it.

  • Nice cheap spell that can summon a lot of stats. I guess were going to see weapon Shaman pop up? Maybe this fits in Totem druid because of Splitting Axe? The thing to note is that we haven't seen nearly any shaman card so far, so more cards for this archetype will probably be revealed in a HS chat or something, just like Libram Paladin and Soul DH/Warlock. Guess we will have to wait until then you really evaluate this card.

Standard: Weapon Shaman: Depends how good this new archetype is, depend on the new cards yet to be revealed. Probably spell damage shaman because of Rune Dagger. And maybe Totem shaman? It can go in control shaman because of The Fist of Ra-den?

Wild: This fits well already in EVEN Shaman. EVEN Shaman has some weapons like Stormforged Axe and Likkim, so there are plenty of opportunities for the effect to go off. Other than that, i don't really know any other deck Deathmatch Pavilion might see play in.

Is it just me, or is Shaman in some kind of Class identity crisis? I thought that was Paladins thing? Seems like Shaman really took a HUGE blow after losing Shudderwock almost a year ago, and never recovered from it. Shaman is really bad without a OP AF card to carry it.

  • Decent secret, considering the upcoming meta seems to be a bit slower, it might be pretty good. Sure you can play around Shadow Clone, BUT i feel like this should be one of the last secrets most people check for. i think the "check rogue secrets" order is going to be something along the lines of: "Dirty Tricks or Ambush -> the other one of the 2 -> Bamboozle -> Shadow Clone -> not one of the ones before: it's Plagiarize. BUT this order is only if your opponent has no minions on board, if they do Shadow Clone or Bamboozle will be checked first, the other 2nd.

Shadow Clone can also be compared to a similar secret for hunter, Cat Trick. Cat Trick is one of hunters best secrets in the game to this day, so why would a similar secret be that bad for rogue? The only real difference between the 2 is that Cat Trick is always a 4/2 stealth, and Shadow Clone can be bigger or smaller.

Standard: This will see play in secret rogue, or other rogue decks with a secret package. Shadow Clone might also see play in some kind of aggro secret stealth rogue deck, as Shadow Clone fits in both archetypes.

Wild: I'm not sure if this will see that much play. Rogue decks with secret packages rather want draw, or other effects like Cheat Death, and wild is full of Gibberling Druids, and Shadow Clone is REALLY bad and slow against that deck.

  • Very interesting card. Though, i wish it was called "Darkmoon portal" instead. (Because it has a portal like effect.) Cenarion Ward can easely be cheated out with Kael'thas Sunstrider. Cenarion Ward can give those kinda druid decks extra survivability because of the armor gained, and it summons an 8 drop.

8 drops are generally really good, but the lowest possible rolls so far are: Heroic Innkeeper, Pit Crocolisk and Jepetto Joybuzz in standard. (Octosari can be good and bad depending on your hand size.) But the absolute god-rolls in standard are: Plagued Protodrake, Gruul, and Arcane Devourer. (Arcane Devourer because your already running plenty of spells.)

In wild the worst rolls are: Bonemare, Grizzled Guardian kinda, and worst of all: Naga Sea Witch. (RIP Game plan.) But the best rolls are: Kel'Thuzad, Charged Devilsaur and Deranged Doctor

Standard: I predict this will 100% see play in Kael'thas Sunstrider druid, and will add another high/low roll to the deck.

Wild: This will probably fit in Spiteful Summoner druid. I don't think OTK wants this, and it's more than 2.5x more expansive than Gibberling druids most expensive card, so it obviously doesn't want it. Cenarion Ward will probably just be a niche card at best.

  • Amazing for totem shaman. Great buff, and amazing target for Totemic Reflection for even more buffs. Just a shame it can't buff itself, but at least it can buff copies of itself. (Even though shaman NEEDS something OP in order to get a good deck again.) But Grand Totem Eys'or is only the SECOND shaman card revealed so far, so we'll see if it gets any more support. Maybe we will see a "battlecry: summon a copy of this minion" kinda totem or something? But the unfortunate thing about totem shaman, is that a bunch of totem cards are going to rotate soon.

Standard: This will see play in totem shaman, but how good it will be depends on what kind of support it's going to get this expansion.

Wild: ODD Costed, but i don't think ODD Shaman wants this. ODD Shaman prefers FACE damaging with spell damage basic totems, and other spell damage minions. If it was EVEN costed though, then it would have been way better. But it might also see play in some kind of Totem shaman in wild. I'm not sure how good that deck will be, but that deck might see some experimentation at the very least.

Seems like a strong card. Good stats for it's cost and might see play in a number of decks. Seems like their pushing some kind of divine shield dude paladin this expansion.

Standard: Really good minion for Pure Libram Paladin and broom paladin. Those decks love minions that stick on board.

Wild: Well luckely it's not...... NOOOO IT'S ODD COSTED! WHY BLIZZARD?!?!? Okay so i'm pretty sure Lothraxion the Redeemed existence alone is enough for ODD Paladin to become meta. Those Silver Hand Recruits were already annoying enough to deal with, and now their even more annoying. Also Lothraxion the Redeemed makes the Silver Hand Recruits way less susceptible to board clears like Defile and Spirit Lash. Maybe this Spirit Lash counter makes ODD Paladin a lot better against Raza priests? If so, then i guess Raza priest may see less play, which i'm totally okay with! :)

Again as i said many times NO THIS DOES NOT GO IN ODD PALLADIN AT ALL

But ODD Paladin already runs Steward of Darkshires for that divine shield, so why not run a card that gives basicly the same effect, but permanently. AND lets you replace the [Hearthstone Card (Staward of Darkshire) Not Found]s for something better? Seems kinda weird to me...And ODD Paladin can then run Blood Knight again, just like it did in the witchwood and Boomsday days...

  • Hmm, hard to judge this card. On one side it seems really powerfull and broken in spell mage, because you can turn your Rolling Fireballs and Apexis Blast into Deep Freeze, Power of Creation and if it can give you spells from ANY class, Inner Demon, Twisting Nether, and in wild Call of the Wild and Free From Amber... on turn 5... And this hardcounters bomb warrior, and gives you those good 8 mana spells... Also you can turn your Ray of Frosts and other 1 cost spells into 1 mana Fireball, but the 4 mana slot will be way worse if it does give you spells from any class, because of cards like Dire Frenzy, Dr. Boom's Scheme and in wild Cataclysm.

Standard: This will probably see play in some kind of memey spell mage list. Probably with Raid the Sky Temple and The Amazing Reno for maximum memes/RNG. But as we all know, these days "random" can be competitively viable, so we better keep a watchful eye on Deck of Lunacy... Also if it only gives mage spells, Deck of Lunacy will be really strong because you can semi-tutor cards like Fireball...

Wild: This will 99% see play in some kind of casino mage. Why wouldn't it see play. Okay sure it get's rid of a lot of other "random" cards, like Deck of Wonders, Effigy, Evocation, Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron and Unstable Portal. But it does give you the ultimate RNG clown fiesta in return. (mostly if it does give spells from ANY class. But if it doesn't then it might see les play in Casino mage because it's not random enough.)

So essentially potentially Fun meme card like Renounce Darkness, if it gives spells from ANY class. And a strong aggressive tool if it only gives mage spells.

  • Incredible card. This will surely see a lot of play. Decent stats for it's cost as well. This is really good.

Standard: Sayge, Seer of Darkmoon will be a must include in secret mage. That deck NEEDS draw, and Sayge, Seer of Darkmoon fixes that problem. I think Sayge, Seer of Darkmoon will also see play in some highlander mage lists, as highlander mage always plays 2-3 secrets at the very least. Also if highlander mage is going to include the Y'Shaarj, the Defiler package, than it's really easy to get a lot of secrets from cards like Ring Toss.

Wild: Secret mage already has Aluneth and Stargazer Luna, but i feel like Sayge, Seer of Darkmoon might replace Aluneth in most lists. This is because Sayge, Seer of Darkmoon will draw more cards IMMEDIATLY instead of over time, AND for players that play both Standard and Wild, it's way better to craft Sayge, Seer of Darkmoon instead of Aluneth. (If they don't have Aluneth already.) Also because Sayge, Seer of Darkmoon is battlecry, it's harder to counter than Aluneth.

  • Interesting card. Seems really good, BUT it requires minions on board to keep going. Also those minions of yours need to trigger the deathrattle in order to summon a Greybough. However their are some interesting synergy with this, like Vectus giving you a few Greyboughs if they got removed.

Standard: I don't fully know what kind of deck want's this. On one side Greybough works well with tokens, but token druid doesn't want Greybough. Maybe it will fit in quest or Heal druid? We will probably see some kind of support cards for Greybough i'm guessing, because all other druid cards revealed so far fit more in Survival of the Fittest druid or OTK Druid.

Wild: I honestly don't know in what deck it would see play... oh wait i know! Hadronox druid! if you have multiple Greyboughs on board they might be able to generate a NEARLY unbreakable wall. (Better hope your opponent has no Silence cards.)

  • Good aggressive stat's for its cost, is really good later into the game. I don't see why this wouldn't be a must-include in many decks. Tenwu of the Red Smoke seems really good with basicly any battlecry. worst case scenario it's just a Youthful Brewmaster

Standard: Must include in any rogue deck. You better be prepared to kill any battlecry minion a opposing rogue plays, or your going to regret it.

Wild: This will 100% see play in a few decks. I'm not going to list them, because their are too many. But i will say that it fits perfectly in The Caverns Below Rogue, even though that deck is not that good.

  • Quite a pricey weapon, but i feel like we shouldn't underestimate it. Rinling's Rifle costs 4 mana, which is the same as the 2 secrets. So your already getting a 2/2 weapon as a bonus. Also these secrets are discovered, so their harder to play around. And this gives a secret basicly on command, and you don't need to use/waste deck slots for more secrets. You can also buff it with Captain Greenskin for even more secrets, and you can use Hoard Pillager to get it back.

Standard: Will surely see play in secret hunter and highlander hunter. I don't see why it wouldn't see play.

Wild: Despite being a good card, i think it won't see play... But that's because hunter is bad in wild. If hunter was better, then sure it would see play. Probably in either secret hunter, spell hunter or highlander hunter.

  • Interesting card, works well with Ticket Master and Togwaggle's Scheme. I guess their really going to push shuffle rogue, because it's a cheaper Assassinate in those decks.

Standard: Will see play in this new shuffle rogue deck. But i guess that's it. Other slow rogue decks rather use Flik Skyshiv instead. Also it fit's well with C'Thun, the Shattered, so you can stay alive until you pull the pieces.

Wild: If your playing some kind of rogue deck that shuffles a lot of cards, then i don't see why you wouldn't use this. And at least it has synergy with Academic Espionage, in case you want to play a more fun type of deck.

  • This is a VERY interesting card. Seems really strong for big warlock decks, and even in wild!

Standard: their is a lot of synergy in standard, just a few i can name are: Lord Jaraxxus, Zzeraku the Warped and Archwitch Willow. Actually i'm pretty sure the [Hearthstone Card (Archwith Willow) Not Found] "stat nerf" was actually a buff, so that she works better with Deck of Chaos

Standard: I'm pretty sure Deck of Chaos will be in some kind of BIG Warlock deck, which will be some kind of control deck that probably includes Supreme Archaeology. Let's hope Lord Jaraxxus is finally going to be viable again.

Wild: I'm guessing this is yet again, going to be in some kind of big warlock deck. And probably in Cubelock, because of Voidlords. Let's face it, who doesn't "like" 3 mana 9/9 Voidlords. And their easy to draw those with Sense Demons. I forsee Deck of Chaos see a lot of play.

  • Seems like a strong card.

  • Zai, the Incredible is a interesting card that actually has a lot of synergy with outcast cards like Twin Slice. But i feel like the REAL synergy is to copy cards like Skull of Gul'dan for even more draw, mana cheating and tempo plays. Actually copying a Skull of Gul'dan on turn 5 with Zai, the Incredible, and playing Skull of Gul'dan on turn 6 & 7 might be the strongest combo for Zai, the Incredible. Can't wait to try this combo in a C'Thun DH deck! (Maybe i can finally pull Brann Bronzebeard or C'Thun for once with Skull of Gul'dan..)

Standard: I think this will see play in aggro DH, Combo DH and Soul DH. What? That's nearly every DH Deck? Well yeah, cuz it's a great card!

Wild: It's ODD Costed, so do i even need to mention anything else? That deck will probably experiment with it at the very least.

Overall Zai, the Incredible seems like a strong card with a lot of SCARY potential. Not OP Strong, but still really strong. Zai, the Incredible is pretty... incredible. (ba dum tss.)
