I really like this artwork, want to see it golden. The effect is alright but I don't think hunter really needs this type of effect. It's basically a weapon version of The Mistcaller with the same mana cost too. That late in the game, the stat increase just feels win more.
Well, this can go face and scale indefinitely depending on how many weapons you'd want to run. Wouldn't be surprised if there's a brann OTK with this minion but you'd definitely need a lot of turns to set it up. Would have to see if the new meta with DK would be slow enough for this to be effective.
What we've seen with the current (and successful) Beast hunter is that Rexxar doesn't actually need to go face to win games. Hunter also has a hard time dealing with big bois so this minion should find a place in some archetype. Not too sold on this new "weapon attacking hunter" which just feels like DH, but I'll remain slightly optimistic.
Hmmm, there are some shenanigans with Infectious Ghoul and Plaguespreader or you just run this in a deathrattle priest for extra triggers. Ideally you'd want to play as many minions as possible to get the reborn effect so maybe some sticky deathrattles like Haunting Nightmare or Brittleskin Zombie might work.
I would imagine this minion would be better in a control deathrattle priest than an aggro variant. The stats are poor for the cost and you want to resurrect a big boi like Flesh Behemoth or Invincible. You also can't control what undead you resurrect and I can't see a big undead priest being viable in Standard.
Will have to relook at this minion once the mini-set is out or in future expansions.
So at best this is 5 mana 1 sided 4 damage AOE. Poor Chaos Nova crying in the corner. I'm assuming, the way it's worded, this AOE spell will deal 2 damage to all enemies twice, helping to remove divine shields, reborn minions and deathrattle triggers. While this does sound appealing, this spell will only be played in an undead deck coz 5 mana 2 damage AOE is awful.
Honestly would run Clean the Scene over this (if not specifically playing shadow priest).
If priest can reliably play and kill their undead minions, this draw spell is great. It will be more difficult for priest to achieve this than DK though and this spell will only be used in the priest undead archetype coz shadow priest will find better things. If priest get more undead minions in future expansions, this spell will always be considered but atm, not feeling confident in the number of undead minions priest has access to (and you can't reliably play thief cards in the hopes of getting an undead from your opponent).
Well we know from experience that rez priest is an annoying archetype. As for the minions getting resurrected though...I'd say they'd just be stats, kinda like playing The Scourge. You need a lot of undead to die and probably be reliant on your opponent clearing your board to help you setup this minion. I can only really think of Flesh Behemoth and Invincible as valuable undead to resurrect and those are pretty slow minions.
Most likely you'd want some specific deathrattle undead to die but I'm not really seeing many minions getting resurrected. On average I'd say maybe 2 - 3 coz the restriction is quite restrictive.
That legendary is pretty sick, kinda like a reverse, 1 time Kel'Thuzad. Great comeback if your opponent cleared your board. Now we should be scared if Priest get their grubby hands on The Scourge.
The payoff of this spell is much better than Mark of Scorn. The 1/1 Illidari can be used to pick off smaller minions, remove divine shields etc so they much more flexible than say, Flanking Maneuver. Ofc this spell, like the rest of the spells only package will only see play if the whole package is any good.
So on an empty board, the 3 damage can at least still go face. While I am intrigued by this spells only DH, I don't think it's gonna be any good coz the payoff it mainly the legendary weapon and you can still technically run the weapon in a normal minion centric deck if you wanted.
Basically this spell will only see play in a spells only DH package, even then it may be cut coz the payoff is only 3 damage. Pitiful.
I really want to make a Lady S'theno OTK viable and this weapon looks quite fun to try that. It may end up being too inconsistent though as you'd need to draw the Bound Soul spells. If that doesn't work then well, it's back to Jace fel shenanigans then and that's boring.
Also this spells only DH actually negatively dissuaded you from running Renathal.
At first I didn't see the poisonous tag and thought this was garbage, but it's instant removal (as long as the minion doesn't have divine shield) with a 2/5 poisonous minion that can be difficult to remove.
I'd wager this guy would (most times) take out 2 minions before his death, that's pretty good!
I'm a bit skeptical on this one. It's a collectable Shadow Reflection but stays in your hand. I'm sure there is a combo that would be desperate for this card but rouge has never been my strong suite. This card will either see no play at all or be added to every rogue deck coz it's insane.
If control shadow priest is a thing, this 1 drop will be right in that deck. Might also see play in the aggro variant but you're contesting with Voidtouched Attendant there. Regardless, I'm keen to dust off my Darkbishop Benedictus again.
ok now Vast Wisdom looks slightly better

I was thinking that exact same thing 🤣 why print a minion that has a bonus effect for targeting minions when Rexxar only knows how to go face?!

OMW, forgot that card existed 🤣
Now you making me doubt if the priest legendary will be good 😅

They already all revealed afaik. Nothing really stands out though, so doubt undead priest would be better than any DK deck

Only noticed now that Risen minions like Risen Footman don't leave corpses behind. That's definitely something I'm gonna forget while playing 😅
