I am just dumbfounded as to why Blizzard would give such a shit site a card reveal, but don't give OoC any reveals 😒 and the fact that this is a repeat occurrence is shocking
Oooo conditional spell draw for hunter AND the potential to draw 3 spells? 😱 well now, looks like that hunter limitation is no longer a limitation. Luckily Kill Command won't be around anymore
So this is an example of a "fair card". The stats to mana ratio alone are underwhelming, but most times, you wanting 5 mana with 8/8 in stats. The fact that it has taunt makes it all the more better. Also remember cards like Feat of Strength were released in DMF... (on 2nd thought, it still won't see much play 😅)
Edit: Knowing Blizzard, they'll have an achievement for this card where you need to buff it's stats using cards like Feat of Strength
I can't help but feel like someone at Blizz fked up and that this is supposed to be a Hunter card, not a Demon Hunter card. It's called a 'Beastmaster' and it has Deathrattle synergy, checking off two Hunter boxes and no Demon Hunter boxes. Idk, I wouldn't be surprised if they announce it was meant to be Hunter at some point down the line.
I thought the exact same thing when I first saw this card. 😂 It can be a 4 star card in hunter, but in DH, it's easily a 2 star card
So this card has to be played on turn 4 or it's not really going to do much. If played in the late game without immune, it'll prob hit one big minion then die. So this card is only really good against aggro where minions health it 3 or lower. Most times you want to outcast this, but you can't leave it too late or it may become ineffective. It's also something that DH isn't well known for (board control). Overall, it will be a good card if aggro is rampant again
Ah, so this is the type of finisher card the devs were talking about introducing. Looking back at all the support in the core set, HP mage looks pretty obvious now. Just bare in mind that the effect might not work for every class if this card is discovered/randomly generated. Good stats to evolve into as well.
Very cool mechanic and the new secret introduced in the core set Reckoning makes this quite viable. You can silence the soldiers to remove some of the secrets, but not every class has access to silence these days. Also what Kripp said in his video, if your opponent wants to clear, they have to be very careful about it, coz now the secrets are extra secret :P
I do like this card, very much 🥰 at first I thought it was shaman only, but it's a neutral 😱 Druid is gonna have a field day. (Maybe it's a class card in disguise)
Ah the deck restrictions from KotFT are back. From the reveal video, taunt and draw 2 cards is a bit lackluster, but ofc we all waiting to see what the other effects are. I do see some classes playing this card more so than other, like Priest might run this more than Druid
Anyone else concerned that there's only 20 cards revealed by the community/new sites? Afaik, previous expansions have had more than double that number...
Such a short reveal season will make card discussions all the more rushed :/ and Blizzard's continued silence on the release date and reveal schedule is becoming infuriating
Very interesting mechanic brough from WoW. Here's the spell in WoW: https://www.wowdb.com/spells/204596-sigil-of-flame (would've assumed it had the fire spell school)
As for HS, if DH gets more control support, or big demons etc, this will see play

So from Celestalon's comment, we can expect an achievement where you need to choose each effect, let's hope that's not hard to track

It's not a bad card by itself, but with Fallen Hero it becomes an amazing board clear with a decent body. All aggro decks become fodder, nice!

They removed the legendary quests when they made updates to the rewards track. Blizzard told us in December, I think
Even more cards have been revealed, till the 22nd now. I wonder if Flux will extend the fun at the crossroads event 🤔
Looks like Flux was correct, more card reveals were added to the schedule: https://playhearthstone.com/en-us/cards?set=forged-in-the-barrens

Very cool deck lists Avalon, thanks for sharing! That priest OTK looks so fun and evil, I want to terrorise those poor casual players :D
I'm guessing there will be 2 copies. One for classic in his original form, one for standard and year of the gryphon in his ultimate hero form
