We focused our initial news post on the expansion reveal and blog details, but it did have a link to the patch notes available. Our latest post has much more information about the patch notes specifically and card additions/changes, as well as the returning Fire Festival! You can check it out through this link.
As your question has been answered, i will go ahead and lock this thread.
I doubt they will actually change anything further after announcing the set and releasing a huge patch. They are probably hoping that they they can mitigate people's frustration with Conjurer's Calling and Mountain Giant by giving us new options in Saviors of Uldum. We know at the very least Priest has Plague of Death now.
Thanks! Yeah that was an accidental result of modifying how the revealed cards work and Mage ended up at the bottom. We'll try to get that rectified before any new cards show up :)
I hear she even has new voice lines, but i say that figuratively because i haven't actually heard yet myself. Not sure why they had to change audio too.
I suppose this is a deathrattle version of a Fire Fly type cart. No tribe though. I think rogues and paladins may find a use for this at the very least.
Creation competitions are very close. We will have a completely dedicated system for it, better than what we could achieve with forum capabilities on hpwn, so give us a little bit more time to bring that to fruition and then we can start right up! ;-)
Is it weird that I'm more excited for this reveal than for the new expansion? Really looking forward to it!
Not at all! Custom Comps are going to level up and a half. It's nice when the boundaries of your imagination are the only limitation for card creation facilitation.
dib is correct, currently theres a bug that causes this error when a comment with replies are split among different pages. It should be fixed soon, once a solution is devised. We certainly don't like it either
The new art is great however it still sucks that it had to come to this. Guess we can't have succubus art. TBH i never liked the art of bite or headcrack though. Unfortunately eviscerate just got a straight up visual nerf lol. Plus the name changes are probably going to throw some people off for a while, myself included probably. Felstalker and Queen of Pain are similar but not quite the same. At least we still have 'of pain'.
Realistically deleting your OP in a thread should result in the whole thread being deleted, but currently it just leaves an empty thread. As for performance, the existence of this data will have little impact if any, especially in comparison to the card database. Additionally deleted content doesn't cease to exist, it's still archived but hidden to everyone but site staff. Certainly thoughtful of you though 😄
It is just storage really. If you think of a hard drive, it doesn't really slow down unless it reaches max capacity, is fragmented, or fails, but fortunately that is not super relevant due to how the site is hosted. Performance of the site has a lot more to do with how it processes that data and serves it which typically involves code.
Definitely agree that the card voting should be a priority and having it mirrored between the threads and card pages will be great. A bigger problem though is the voting doesn't seem to appear on mobile yet. You can be sure there will be some improvements as more new cards are around the corner.
It's as bad as it is fun and i love it.
So Priest just got a better Twisting Nether. Nice. The silence is huge.

Edit: Fixed.

The Deadly Shot art is so bland.

Could be decent with totem synergy, or if theres theres some new lackey synergy for shaman. We'll have to wait and see.
Interesting to see a card with synergy specific to quests, especially since there will now be 18 of them.

I maybe they didnt want people to get sick of a brawl or play only brawl, but i i am glad to see this change.
I am probably going to but i'm not sure i care to purchase the new hero. $100 CAD yikes.

Definitely nice to get some free dust and get the golden copies of the new cards immediately.

They did a good job on these videos this time. Definitely the best cinematic in a long time; brought me back the the Karazhan days.

It is over 9000. It just can't render properly as an image lol
