Well, as usual, I spend sleepless days thinking up the best decks to play on day 1, and then proceeded to completely miss out on all the cards I needed.
Quote From troY Did 4 more games today, lost all 4. This is in Bronze mind you, the old rank 25-20 range. I used to get rank 5 every single month for the last 6 months (since I started), slowly climbing throughout the month, but I just can't win a single game since all my opponents are Legends …

[card]Maiev shadowsong[/card]
[card]astromancer solarian[/card]
[card]metamorphosis[/card]
[card]shadowjeweler hanar[/card]
[card]kanrethad ebonlocke[/card]
I agree with shuckie up there that [card]kayn sunfury[/card] is probably overrated. Its best use is against priest and druid. In most cases, you can accomplish the same …
I will add that its a 1 mana 2 damage hero power.

Quote From Author To counter raza priest, there's no many ways to tech against it since they can easily remove bombs and albatrosses from their decks with Wyrmrest Purifier.
How is W. Pruifier a counter? You get random class cards, that means you can still get duplicates, …
Certain decks and class work better with the coin, some don't. Aggro decks in particular enjoy massive advantages going first.
This have been argued for ages, but I think the last time I heard of any form of statistic from blizzard was that going first have a 1% advantage in terms of win rate. Since there's no way to …
That's wild for you. Its horribly unbalanced, and therefore despite the many, many variety of decks that could exist in wild its all completely outclassed by the few tier 1 decks around.
If you're looking to have some fun, just stick around the lower tiers.

The way the MMR system works is that it takes the highest historical rank or your previous rank, whichever higher, you've managed as the indicator. So you can be stuck at rank 20 last month but so long as you have historically got rank 15, that's where the MMR will match you with.
There's no mention on what is …
Cards that are good and might see play;
- [card]Corsair cache[/card], [card]bladestorm[/card], [card]kargath bladefist[/card], [card]bonechewer raider[/card], [card]imprisoned gan'arg[/card]
Others;
[card]Sword and board[/card] - cheap 2 damage. But in my opinion the standard amount of damage a removal should have to be good is 3. But with dhunters being a thing, maybe its just good enough.
[card]Scrap …
Cards that are obviously good and will see some play at some point;
- [card]Darkglare[/card], [card]hand of gul'dan[/card], [card]nightshade matron[/card], [card]kanrethad ebonlocke[/card]
Cards I'm personally most interested to build decks around;
- [card]The dark portal[/card], [card]imprisoned scrap imp[/card], [card]shadow council[/card]
Others;
[card]Keli'dan the breaker[/card] - Interesting card, but its the sort of card …
Its always funny to me how [card]open the waygate[/card] tend to produce powerful, polarizing decks that nearly everyone except the one current playing it absolutely hates, and yet for some reason it dodges just about every little nerf to wild cards. At least the list added here doesnt have that retarded [card]archmage vargoth[/card] synergy with waygate.
Not sure how [card]the lurker below[/card] interacts with deathrattles, but if the second hit trigger AFTER the deathrattle, this might just be an auto include in any control shaman deck.
In my opinion, shaman got some real powerful cards for a control style deck. One of those cards will NOT be [card]lady vashj[/card], just about the worst of all …
We know rogue is pretty good already, so there's no need for me to hammer it home. I'll just state some few observations;
[card]Bamboozle[/card] is pretty much the strongest of all the secrets if you're playing for tempo since it effectively discourages opponents to trade into any minions. Even a 1 drop can be upgraded into a 4 drop …
I am genuinely curious how many hours it took you to get this much up, even on those small pieces I wrote outside of this thread took around 20 minutes per article, and those were written per class.
I will address some interesting point you made in the article, and insert my own predictions.

I pretty much agree that priest isnt going to be tier 1, but there's a place in tier 2 for it. I am in particularly thinking that priest has a decent chance against dhunters, which is going to be everywhere, which was I why I thought dragon tempo priest can do well.
Initially I wasnt so impressed with [card]skeletal …
In my opinion, priest has some good cards in the expansion, but that shouldnt surprise anyone with the class's transition into a more tempoish class similar to paladin.
A few short thoughts;
- [card]imprisoned homunculus[/card] curves into [card]apotheosis[/card], which is why I think both cards will feature in a tempo priest. But I'm more interested in [card]imprisoned vilefiend[/card] …
Okay, good ol' Pally. Let's see;
[card]imprisoned sungill[/card], practically unloved by all, is a 1 mana [card]murloc tidecaller[/card] that summons an extra 1/1 murloc, but comes 2 turns later. Its easy to see why its considered a weak card; its slow, the effect is subpar, and its weak all on its own. But theres something to be said about …
To be honest I have the same opinion that poor [card]imprisoned sungill[/card] may turn out to surprise everyone, mostly because paladin happens to be a buff class and sungill swarms the board.
Well, if you're coming back then you would be at least able to tell us if blizzard has started giving away free decks like they said they would to returning players. Not so sure what's the time frame to receive the cards though.
if you left during the blitzchung controversy means you've not seen the DoD expansion yet. Meta …
