  • I'm keeping an eye on this one.

  • inb4 rogue quest is to shuffle x cards

  • [Hearthstone Card (Faldorei Strider) Not Found] saw lots of play, this might be better later but without the immediate 4/4 body. Although, this can be prepped and comboed with auctioneer.

  • Huh so the speculation on this site regarding Tekahn being important in this expansion were true (he was the warlock henchman in the rise of shadows solo adventure). Nicely done!

  • Good support for quest warrior and lackeys make sense in that kind of deck, but it's arguable if you would run this over Fiery War Axe as 2 attack is pretty meh.

Brazen Zealot. It could be a 5/1 turn 3 if it survives and you can play Micromummy turn 2 and some other minion turn 3. But at 1 health, it's unlikely the Zealot survives for long. Is it time to use Argent Protector again?

Also Argent Squire, 1-mana murlocs in a murloc deck...

Right, brazen zealot seems too weak to play it with this so I would say a Saronite Taskmaster or a minion with higher health, like Glow-Tron (which can even magnetize this minion later) would do a better job. I would even play Wax Elemental with this if it were still in standard. Unfortunately, you won't have a minion on board if you play the quest on turn 1 so I'm not convinced that this is that good. Which makes me wonder, why would you design an obvious quest synergy card to be costed at 2 and have its effect anti-synergize with the fact that you want to play the quest turn 1.

  • I'm mostly looking forward to playing Raid the Sky Temple with cyclone and cheap spells, maybe even with the secret package. I've always loved Primordial Glyph so it's nice to see its effect back in standard.

  • My only question is: what do you want to play on turn 1 with this?

Just thinking about is the new Warrior Quest will be taunt oriented too.

I doubt they would make both warrior legendaries synergize with the taunt strategy

  • I like the flavor of Fluffy Shaggy and it's a good minion in the absence of Stonehill Defender. Infested goblin is obviously better in taunt warrior, but I don't think these cards will be enough to make taunt warrior a thing.

It’s a good counter to Mechathun decks

Yes and no. Since the card description states "after", if you cast only one spell and manage to kill Mecha'thun with it, his deathrattle will trigger before the secret comes into play. In wild you could potentially counter Mecha'thun warlocks with it, but only if they aren't careful. If they play the 10-drop, followed by Bloodbloom, the mech would be vulnerable to the destruction effect. If however the warlock plays BB first and then follows up with Mecha'thun and Cataclysm, the game is over for you.

And in the case of Archmage Vargoth - the mage player has to play Time Warp first and then summon the 2/6 legendary.

I think the secret wouldn't trigger on Bloodbloom if the opponent's board is empty, so the secret would trigger after cataclysm, but it doesn't matter since Mechathun's deathrattle would still trigger before, if I'm not mistaken.

Heal Priest, Heal Dudu, Arena, but no one thought of Auchenai-Heal Priest (where you use the healing to kill the opponent). The last interaction might be admittedly weak or hard to pull off, but it's still something worth noting.

How would you kill the opponent's minions with this? You could kill one of them with Cabal Shadow Priest I guess, but I think it's too situational.

I meant with deathrattle minions who heal the opponent (Hench-Clan Shadequill) and you can use the 2/3 to instantly kill those minions. Like I said in the previous post, I am aware that such combos are weak and hard to pull off (and in wild players can utilize cheap cards like Circle of Healing and Zombie Chow, Corrupted Healbot + Twilight's Call). I just wanted to share this little information with the users, so that we could use it, when priest gets more deathrattle minions that heal the opponent for a bunch in standard.

Oh I see what you mean now. Such a combo wouldn't be too far-fetched, I would say. The auchenai combo with Corrupted Healbot was a decent deck while it was in standard, although hard to pilot. It shouldn't be underestimated at least.

  • Why did you change the layout for each class to display 6 cards in the first row and 4 in the second? It was more intuitive when it was 5 in each row.

  • No, by definition, discover lets you choose one card from three options. This casts the chosen spell and you only get a copy in hand if it has twinspell.

  • Good with EVIL totem I guess
