We used to simul-queue back in Vanilla (before group queuing for AV was a thing) as Alliance and blitz through it to help get Sicnus to server number 1. Good Times.
I believe the first time I saw it brought in (which I think may have been WoW Arena? But I forget) the argument went something like "we don't want players to be able to easily game this system to be able to grief noobs, plus the rating is unlikely to change much over time so wouldn't give very good feedback to players" or something like that.
Was thinking about that just today. Maybe Classic remains as a mode that's always available and they have a second "Classic" mode that rotates through different Standard metas of the past. Naxx, GvG, etc
Not a bad idea although at some point that becomes clunky. That said, my personal favourite meta by far was Ungoro, so I'd love to have that available
- Wildfire is literally insane. If control mage makes a comeback, this is just backbreaking. Wonder why the hell is priest denied the Mind Shatter upgrade when they happily proceed to then give this to mage (Unless the second copy of wildfire literally just refreshes the hp)
I would imagine that this card is a lot of the reason for the situation with Mind Shatter.
Mage isn't Priest, and Priest isn't Mage, and a card that makes them both the same with regard to hero power is pretty poor design. The existence of one is almost certainly the reason for the non-existence of the other, not a reason it should exist.
Are these Three Sigils you reference in the article something like Douglas Adams Hitchhikers Guide trilogy, in that there are 4? (Yes I know the Hitchhikers Guide trilogy of 4 had 5 books)
The Dev didn't say there's no point in hoarding Edwin. He said there's no point in hoarding extra Edwin's. Not sure if that was just him being loose with his language, but if not, it's not the same thing. Just saying.

Yea I pulled Kiri but dropped it to o pure spells which has been working well.
I was mostly curious if having Kiri in a deck meant people only run the Eclipses as 1 offs. But I'm now thinking that doesn't matter as I assume the data just checks if it's in the deck not the number of copies.
That's my favorite thing about card games. The puzzle of "will this now work". I saw a deck on here as a hunter, maxima and ancient one combo. I think I now have to craft a Maxima!
Even if that was the case though, Kiri would show up in those decks, and Flux's point is, she isn't in decks either so either way that can't be it.

Assuming you've gone into the journal and not been able to click it, I had a similar issue early on (Android client) and a force close and reopen fixed it.
The card that I immediately think of is Ancient of Lore. I know you can't compare directly between classes but..... Yeah that nerf looks so much worse now
Book of Heroes really doesn't excite me at all. Pretty lackluster solo content in my opinion, much much preferred the dungeon run style content, for much greater replayability in the long term, as well as far more fun per run.
