The power level of this set is already beyond. I mean, it isn't the fairest comparison, but in a vanilla set you wouldn't even get a 5/5 for (5), let alone with rush and a possible way to cheat it out a few turns sooner - think this is pretty good.
The flavor had me wondering what the heck was a tacky light-up paperweight! Hope it'll be a token or a card of some sort, for an other carnival themed one.
It's not a bad card, and is well costed for the effect, it just hits a weird intersection between rush and burst damage that no deck can really accommodate.
Can maybe be used in a combo I'm not seeing now, but I doubt it.
I would have hoped for a tribe tag to maybe give a reason to give a slot to this guy in a deck, but ... Seems like a huge tempo loss, even on a cheap zoo-deck

Here's how the OTK combo's played :
Play E.T.C., God of Metal, drop a Pen Flinger into ETC.
Then 2x Bloodsworn Mercenary into ETC to make it 3 on bord - all you now need is an Animated Broomstick!
Voilà : 42 dmg
