Though It might be a little slow in zoo since you will likely use this with at least 5 mana (this + 1 lackey) to get some value. A 2/3 body is easily removed. Zoo also usually vomits minions on board and doesn't usually keep lackeys on hand for value.
Thinking it might fit into Muzzy's list which is slower.
I wonder if Dark Pharaoh Tekahn buffs this, since it's technically a lackey lol. (likely not though)
Though the nerf to Invocation of Frost is insane and Frog Galakrond Shaman was my main ladder deck pre-nerf, I like that devs are pre-preemptively nerfing Shaman. Shaman has had its time to shine, and I feel the post-nerf Shaman just needs time for refinement to become viable again.
As the face hunter, you are the aggressor and should use every bit of mana to push damage.
Doomsayer is more a defensive tool. Also drawing it late when looking for damage for lethal can be back breaking.
Additionally, I would argue against Elven Archers. I'd prolly take Leper Gnomes over them. They do 1 more damage and the targeted aspect matters less in a face deck. Also you need Tracking I think. You need to find damage for reach. The discarded cards don't really matter in a short game.
Wait...You're telling me it was possible before? Huh, TIL, I guess.
Everyday in HS reddit seems like someone's flexing their Alex into Alex into Alex into Alex high roll.
Good Nerf. Doesn't impact the spirit of the card and there are still insane high rolls outside of Alex into Alex (e.g. Veranus and Dragonmaw Scorcher).
I played Galakrond Zoo quite a bit at launch and it just doesn't seem that strong...I mean, not compared to anything else.
This is also the weirdest piece to hit...like, surely, Veiled Worshipper is the powerhouse of the deck.
Surprised with the nerf as well.
Having playing played some games with and against Gala Zoo, playing this turn 3 didn't seem overpowered (compared to say Scion or Necrium Apothecary). Sure if you flood the board then drop this by turn 3, it's pretty powerful but that's Zoo's version of a highroll.
It does indirectly nerf Veiled Worshiper though by making it harder to activate.
Completely agree. Gives more incentive for Grandmasters to actually try.
If they don't want to be there (i.e. Seiko playing TFT during a match), they should be replaced by people who do. It's more fun to watch players who actually want to win than players phoning it in.
Alexstrasza can be used offensively to set up lethal or defensively to survive.
Prolly one of the few decks you won't be annoyed to get the Draconic Lackey lol. You get Crazed Netherwing a fair amount of the time, or worst case you get a dragon activator.
Kronx was the very first craft I did on day one! I figured we all got the five Galakrond hero cards free, so I'd be playing around with those archetypes. And his effect of either drawing the hero card, or unleashing a devastation is something you'd want in any Galakrond build. Even on my f2p account that lives in poverty I crafted him immediately.
He was my first craft as well. Definitely worth it.
I personally doubt Galakron decks will be nerfed to un-playability. The theme of the expansion are E.V.I.L. classes (revolving around Galakrond) vs "Good" classes (revolving around Highlander decks and side quests). I think the target is to nerf gala decks just enough to be at par with highlander decks from the "good" classes.
My thoughts exactly!

Any card that doesn't fit res priest is a plus. Hope this helps creates other priest archetypes.

I tried the Muzzy variant, yeah, I underestimated the amount of Tokens Sinister Deal and EVIL Genius generates esp. the Faceless Lackey.
Agree on Doomsayer. It's bad on face hunter.

Just Curious. How do you use Maly? You don't get discounts, and you don't get Rogue's coins to combo with Maly.
Questions:
1. What's the win con? Is it like the Monsanto list? (i.e. Alex, Netherbreath, Netherbreath, Soulfire, Soulfire)?
2. How do you effectively pull off Plague of Flames without a lot of fodder minions?
I wonder why it is a forced cast.
If the text read:
"Hero Power: Cast a Random Spell" for 0 mana, would this be unbalanced?
At least it gives the player control on when the spell is cast.
Good Nerf.
Card is still very good IMO.
3/2 x 3 with Rush on 4 is still very strong.
Ritual Chopper to Awaken! to Scion of Ruin is still a strong tempo play.

Good Nerf. Was expecting this in the first wave of the patch.
Surprised with the nerf as well.

I having haven't been following hearthstone most of 2019 (hiatus from the game), how does the Crowd Funding work?
Is this the one you buy Packs and the earnings contribute to the prize pool?
EDIT: eh nevermind lol. I didn't notice "Lei Shen" was a link lol.

Saw one of Muzzy's stream where he was running a variant of this. Though the version he was running had Dark Pharaoh Tekahn.
Control/Stall the board with lackies, Plague of Flames, Mountain Giants, and Crazed Netherwing while collecting your combo pieces.
Then combo finish with Bloodmage Thalnos + Nether Breath (x2) + Soulfire (x2) for 20 damage.

I took a hiatus from HS before KotFT and returned after tombs of terror dropped. I was surprised this wasn't implemented yet.

I agree with the post above.
They key to mogu is how early they can drop a 8 mana minion. 2 Mana is a big difference.
I hope they are just being cautious of going overboard.
Hoping more nerfs coming in the future. These are too mild IMO.
I'm particularly disappointed that Dragon's Pack was left untouched.
Personally, I'd be happy if they lowered it to 30.
Or made epics impossible to get dups (like legendaries).
