I've been wondering, can you get golden cards (randomly of course) from the ranked rewards, like packs? Or are they guaranteed to be the regular version?
If yes, mind sharing the source regarding the info?
I still auto-concede priest matchups. I get tilted just seeing priest, I end up misplaying a lot. So auto-conceding seems like a faster, less frustrating approach.
I honestly would rather lose to aggro DH or hunters than face res priests.
Thanks to everyone for their advice and suggestions. I think I may craft Kargath Bladefist as my only prime. (55 packs and got only 3 legendaries and none of them are primes)
That's actually slightly above average luck. Average is 1 per 20 packs. With the pity timer around ~37.
For the hell of it, I tracked my pack opening the expansion (first time doing so). I got all the commons with my 30th pack and I got all rares with my 60th pack.
Amazing change.
Now I will only worry about crafting legendaries and epics.
Wish they gave out more epics than rares (for example, 4 less rares, +1 epic). With the duplicate system, it'll be easier complete all the rares but much harder to complete the epics.
Beastmaster Leoroxx, Zixor, Apex Predator - Beast hunter intrigues me. I think there will be 2 archetypes: 1 will be multiple beasts one then cheating our charge minions with Leoroxx as the wincon, and another will be the single beast one with focusing tutoring and buffing zixor. Not sure if one, both, or neither will be viable.
Murgur Murgurgle, Lady Liadrin - Midrange Paladin was my favorite deck before and the Librams make it possible again.
Maiev Shadowsong - Not a particularly interesting card (for me) but she's a neutral and I agree she will be a staple in most decks.
Honorable Mention: Evocation - I want to try a pure spell mage, I don't think it will be viable but I want to try,
From a power perspective though, I think rogue will be king again.
So that's at least 8 cards that can generate minions.
Now the RNG ones:
Magic Trick - you can create additional copies of Font of Power, Learn Draconic, and Evocation.
Evocation - fill your hand with random spells which can include minion generation cards
Another problem I see is draw. AI and (to some extent) Ancient Mysteries, are the only draw spells for mage. There might not be enough time to dig for the burn spells.
With the release of the new spell mage support cards, I've been wondering if the archetype will work? Looking at the cards, I think it will have the freeze mage package but with more board control. Win Condition: The direction of the I think is chip damage from created minions and finished with burn spells.
Then I rounded out with some utility cards. Evocation - great for swing turns. Can also be used find the remaining burn for reach. Learn Draconic - not completely sold on this. But with an all spell deck, this is easily a 1 mana 6/6. Magic Trick - Good for fishing for situational cards not in your deck Ancient Mysteries - Not great, but figured more draw is good Arcane Intellect - Draw
Spell Mage?

I get the feeling that the original grand masters have become complacent and don't have the fire anymore which is why the new blood did so well.
Frostee isn't even streaming HS anymore, and RDU's channel is primarily a BG stream.
Thanks for the response.
I was feeling this was the case but was hoping otherwise lol.
Hey guys,
I've been wondering, can you get golden cards (randomly of course) from the ranked rewards, like packs? Or are they guaranteed to be the regular version?
If yes, mind sharing the source regarding the info?
Thanks!
I can't believe I rated this as a 2-star card. You really can't accurately rate cards in a vacuum.
The fact that this is zero mana is amazing. Absolutely essential for the spell druid swing turns.
Also works with big druid, allowing them to do play more than 1 card a turn.
I wish they could just show you your actual MMR value like BG
Most priest decks I face are still res priest.
I still auto-concede priest matchups. I get tilted just seeing priest, I end up misplaying a lot. So auto-conceding seems like a faster, less frustrating approach.

From the last episode, they said the cadence they will be doing will be once month.
Hope they change it to weekly though.
Love this change.

Ahh nice, that's good to know.
Yay, another anti-res priest tech card.
I actually prefer it over the Zul'Drak Ritualist since you know what it spawns.
Does this mean only top 8 matches will be streamed again?
Love this update!
I forgot the source, but Maiev won't remove buffs for the minion she dormants
My current wishlist:
Honorable Mention: Evocation - I want to try a pure spell mage, I don't think it will be viable but I want to try,
From a power perspective though, I think rogue will be king again.
I think this card will carry a lot of DH decks.
I am also uncertain, but I think there is a shot.
Currently, we have Font of Power, Apexis Blast, Learn Draconic, and Deep Freeze.
So that's at least 8 cards that can generate minions.
Now the RNG ones:
Another problem I see is draw. AI and (to some extent) Ancient Mysteries, are the only draw spells for mage. There might not be enough time to dig for the burn spells.
Damn, rogue got a lot of good stuff this expansion.
Roguestone again?

Tried my hand at spit balling a deck:
The payoff cards for an all mage deck, so these are Auto-Includes:
Font of Power, Incanter's Flow, Apexis Blast
Now the burn cards:
Frostbolt, Fireball, Pyroblast
Next are the AOEs and Survival Cards:
Ray of Frost, Flame Ward, Frost Nova, Ice Barrier, Blizzard, Deep Freeze, and finally the panic button in The Amazing Reno
Then I rounded out with some utility cards.
Evocation - great for swing turns. Can also be used find the remaining burn for reach.
Learn Draconic - not completely sold on this. But with an all spell deck, this is easily a 1 mana 6/6.
Magic Trick - Good for fishing for situational cards not in your deck
Ancient Mysteries - Not great, but figured more draw is good
Arcane Intellect - Draw
