In Wild, this is like Spiteful but worse because it is too slow. Someone will come up with a deck that wants to reliably draw its most expensive spell before turn 9, though, and then this will be used, not for the summon, but for the draw.

This is thematically appropriate support for control DH, and I hope that becomes a thing in Wild.

This seems like it would be a fine inclusion in any deck that already runs a good number of 2-4 mana deathrattle minions, but I don't expect to see this played in Wild unless DH gets some really powerful deathrattle stuff.

Ignoring the card text, the stats are good for the cost. The card text may not be very powerful, but in any deck that is running several holy spells, this would be a fine inclusion with the potential to get out of hand. As I understand it, the +2 Health effect can be applied to the Spirit Healer herself, too, so it's not like the effect has multiple conditions. As a Wild player, I don't expect this will see much play at high ranks, though, because the effect doesn't contribute directly to a fast enough win condition unless Inner Fire priest becomes more competitive.

I doubt this will see any play in Wild, but this would be fun to play alongside Animated Broomstick to get two attacks the turn it is played. I also expect to see this card on Trolden; someone with a Knife Juggler on board is going to play an important combo piece when their opponent has a full health Razormane Raider, then be sad.

Thanks for posting all of the ranks! I was wondering if it jumped more or did more damage as it ranked up (I'm glad to see it's the latter), and whether or not it would cost more, too.

Edit: apparently I don't know how to Reply. This was a reply to @JackJimson

This seems like a great card. In a lot of situations, it will act like a 7 mana 6/7 with rush, taunt, divine shield, and battlecry: gain +1 attack this turn only, which would be a great card. Playing it into an empty board against a deck that you know is just going to clear it for 4 mana or less will feel bad, though.

I think this will see some play in Wild in the rogue decks with Stowaway.

I don't think this will see serious play in Wild. It may find a place in disruption warlock, but that's not a serious deck. The meta would have to become very combo-heavy for this to be a good card, and Blizz doesn't seem to want to go that route. Even for bouncing powerful battlecries in Reno decks, this is too expensive and inconsistent, even if it is theoretically versatile.

Zero mana spells almost always see some play. If not for that, this would be a worse Armor Vendor.

With hand buff support, this could be powerful, but outside of that it's a bit like Arcane Explosion on a Midway Maniac. Without Midway Maniac's useful tribe, I don't think this will see play outside of hand buff decks.

Is this worse than Dire Mole? How many decks want to draw a 4/3 in the late game?

It's good if you can trigger the Frenzy reliably without having to ping your own minion. I think Wild has more consistent 2-drops, though, including minions you would rather play alongside Animated Broomstick. I think people will experiment with this one, but I don't think it will stick around in the Wild meta.

I think this will see play in Wild, but not in a meta deck. I've got a feeling that a lot of the spells already used in Malygos Shaman will be Nature spells.

I decided to do a little analysis of whether it made sense to spend 2000g on 20 card packs instead of the bundle. What I found is that the bundle is absolutely a better deal. Here are the details:

    Darkmoon Races contains:

    Common: 16

    Rare: 14

    Epic: 1

    Legendary: 4

    Total DE value: 2240 dust

20 card packs: 2054.2 dust on average

Opening 20 DM Faire card packs would yield, on average:

    70.14 commons

    1.49 golden commons

    21.51 rares

    1.33 golden rares

    4.19 epics

    0.25 golden epics

    1 legendary

    0.09 golden legendaries

If you already have all of the existing commons and rares:

You would keep 32 commons and disenchant the rest for 265.2 dust

You would keep your 23 rares

You would keep your 4 epics

You would keep you 1 legendary

So you would have 2 more epics, 3 fewer legendaries, 5 fewer rares, and 265 more dust than if you bought the bundle

If you also already have all of the epics (or expect to get them eventually), you would also disenchant the ~2 extra epics you get from packs, landing you with 3 fewer legendaries, 5 fewer rares, and 584 more dust on average.

Now, assuming you keep buying card packs after those 20, you will get all of the rares in your next 4-5 card packs, so I’ll do a quick approximation of the difference between buying the bundle and 5 packs vs. 25 packs, assuming that you currently have all of the commons and rares:

In either case you end up having all of the commons and rares, and one additional random epic (on average), plus about a 25% chance at another legendary.

In the bundle case, you will have extra rares to disenchant, for an average of 140.8 dust.

In the 25 pack case you have a 56.25% chance of having an extra rare, which means you can probably disenchant the one golden rare you got in those 25 packs for 100 dust.

So, after spending your 2000g and then buying 5-6 more packs, going for packs instead of the bundle would get you:

    2 more epics

    3 fewer legendaries

    225 more dust

Now consider that if you buy the bundle and you don’t like 3 of the legendaries you can disenchant them and craft 3 epics of your choice. The bundle is clearly the better option. Buy it before you open any Darkmoon Faire card packs after Darkmoon Races releases!

Reno Shadow Priest has been my favourite deck ever since Reno was added to the game, when Reno Shadow meant running two copies of Shadowform!

This deck is my favourite because Priest's control tools give you a good shot at surviving the early game, the upgraded hero power lets you save your board clears for genuinely full boards, and the win conditions are so much fun! I have definitely won games off of Kodorider and Confessor Paletress before.

I don't actually have Zephrys yet, so I run Power Word: Shield, for the synergy with Wild Pyromancer and Shadowreaper Anduin. Tournament Medic is another fun card to run in this deck, as is Recruiter.

Also important: because Common cards are the only ones where the golden version disenchants for more than the non-golden version costs to craft, even if you have two non-golden copies of a common card that is rotating, you should craft golden copies until you have two of those as well, then, if you wish, disenchant them after the rotation.

    Why, you ask? Simple:

If you have 2 non-golden Spellbreakers and no golden Spellbreakers, you'll be credited 80 dust.

If you take this opportunity to craft two golden Spellbreakers, you will spend 800 dust, then be credited 800 dust, then you can disenchant them for 100 dust. That's 20 more dust than you would have gotten otherwise!

My favourite Hearthstone moment from 2019 is when it was announced that Genn and Baku were being hall of famed, so I crafted them and I could finally play the powerful decks that I kept running up against (I play wild).

The one Hearthstone thing I am looking forward to most in 2020 is finally having another adventure to play that lets me build decks from my collection and has compelling rewards!

Oddly, my favourite Uldum moment was the first time I got completely decimated by not playing around Flame Ward.
