    Feedback time!

    Show Spoiler

shaveyou - Mam'toth is pretty cool: he fits with the DH gameplan well, and there's room for interpretation as-to how he functions with the Spirit. Knocking down his Health was probably a good idea.

Wailor - I like Whisper of the Depths, but we're competing on that front so maybe go with Spirit of the Snake instead? It's more unique, we won't be butting-heads, and people can interpret how the Snake loa would play out on their own.

Xarkkal - You don't need the colon after Twinspell. I think this is a unique way to implement Fiery Brand, and it plays well with a Control Demon Hunter who wants to use his Hero Power for clearing. Paired with a weapon like the Warglaives of Azzinoth and you've got a winning combination on your hands.

DescentOfDragonsOp - You cannot use the Classic watermark in this competition, and even then you wouldn't be able to have Rush in the Classic set anyway. There's a lot that needs to be cleaned up on this card, but it's too late because you've already submitted by the looks of it. The full title needs to be capitalized, "fill" and "Illidari" need to be capitalized, and there should be a period at the end of the text. I would say, next time, to slow down and make sure everything looks neat and tidy before you submit…or at least give us time to tell you that. (The card is also SUPER OP, but I didn't get into that).

Nirast - I'm concerned that you could hide Illidari Defender (you're missing an L, by the way) behind a Taunt and reap the benefits for multiple turns, which seems really good. Especially good if you combine it with a weapon like the Warglaives of Azzinoth, but that wouldn't be until much later in the game's lifespan so maybe it'll work out.

h0lysatan - Outcast appears to be an "evergreen" keyword for the Demon Hunter, much like Overload is for the Shaman, so go ahead and use Outcast for whatever set you want. Looking at your card itself, it appears to be a play on Midnight Drake, but Midnight Drake was bad so I wouldn't get too upset. Rush might be on the edge of too good, but it does make the card more interesting. If you're going to keep the Rush it should lose some Health.

meisterz39 - Felboar is pretty straight-forward, a good combination with Coordinated Strike and/or Command the Illidari. You're missing the Battlecry, though, and the period at the end of the sentence.

Dermostatic - Somebody was going to create that Battlecry; it was inevitable lol :P I think the Hero Power is much better; that was a good change. As for the cost of the Hero card itself, think of this way: you need 1-mana for the Armor (Iron Hide), 2-mana for the Hero Power (Dinomancy), and the rest goes into the Battlecry (plus possibly +1 mana for the "packaging"). Is "Outcast is always active" worth 4-mana? I'd say it's fine.

dembro - Unfortunately for you, Altruis the Outcast and Nethrandamus have been revealed just now to be actual cards in the game, meaning you'll have to go back to the drawing board on this one.

Almaniarra - Unfortunately, you have WAY too many tokens for this particular competition. We currently have the rules restricting people to one token in addition to their base card. As Hordaki noted, you'll have to rework the concept.

Hordaki - Take the Wasteland seems pretty scary, having the reward be both a Battlecry and a Deathrattle. You're guaranteed to fill the board on the first go; the fact that you can then refill the board is nuts. Orsis Guardian seems fine, if a bit plain; I'm worried if he lacks the "spice" to accrue a lot of high votes. Omega Felblade is similarly alright (nice use of Illidan's alternate costume heh). All-in-all, I think I like Take the Wasteland the most.

I made three different C'Thun-synergy cards, because I love C'Thun for some reason. Tell me which you like the most :)

I gave Triple Spin the Outcast keyword because I thought it would be more interesting that way; if you think it would be more appealing without the condition, I'll remove it.

kinda wish they added at least one keyword to this.

    ...

This is basically Shield of Galakrond without the Taunt

Except he does have Taunt lol :P

Does this keep the cost reduction after its Deathrattle?

The minions in question specify "this game", so Yes, new copies of Libram of Wisdom will keep their cost reduction

Didn’t Druid have a version of this that could only be cast on Beasts in the Whispers of the Old Gods set? Given that the Druid card saw play, I think this will be pretty good. Also, it seems great when paired with liadri

You can cast Mark of Y'Shaarj on anything, it's just that you need to pick a Beast if you want to draw the card. Otherwise Yes, they are very similar.

Tundra Rhino won't work, as we're talking about an imprisioned Demon.

Honestly tired of the RNG/Casino Mage playstyle being supported. I'd like to go back to having a coherent plan that remains consistent from game to game...like Elementals, or Dragons.

Alright, I brewed up a new card, I am not 100% sure on the name or powerlevel of the card. But I saw the art and thought this might be funny.

The power level is, unfortunately, really bad. Hemet Nesingwary already exists, with a higher Attack and a targeted Battlecry, and he's a terrible card. I would come up with something else.

Thank you all for the feedback! I find myself now wanting to take this idea in 2 different directions. Any thoughts?

    First one.

The second one is simply a worse Houndmaster Shaw.

    Agreed

I couldn't decide between the two cards I made...until the decision was made for me: someone used the same art as my Wildfire Dragon, and I'm not going to submit a similar-looking card. So...yeah, Living Forge it is.

Yes, the Initiate set will be given for free when you complete the story missions, alongside the Basic cards and the Hero itself.

Feedback seems to be 50/50 split between preferring Living Forge or Wildfire Dragon. Not helpful lol :P

Here's some feedback of my own:

    Show Spoiler

Iskar - I'm not a fan of the card. You would need to attach the Murlocs to Mechs, but Murlocs don't have anything exciting to give to their host other than minor stats. I also don't think the card itself should be a Mech (he's a Murloc), thus defeating the point of the prompt.

Xarkkal - "Gnaws" is a formal name, suggesting the card is a Legendary. You also picked Un'Goro for the watermark, which is wrong (Rush did not exist yet at that time). It's an amusing edit for the art, though, and the effect seems fine.

Dermostatic - "Whenever" is fine. The art is great, and fits the Warlock/Demon synergy perfectly. I like the card, all-in-all.

Wailor - I prefer Dragonfang Totem the most: it helps create a new archetype (Handbuff Shaman), and fits well in a Dragon deck as an early minion (which they usually lack). I think the other two cards are a little forced.

Demonxz95 - *shrugs* I don't know, I feel like using Outcast before the expansion releases is cheating. We know how it works already, so there is that, but it seems like a grab for attention. If we look beyond that, I like the effect.

anchorm4n - Darktide Conjurer is definitely the better of the two. That said, the stats of the Conjurer are basically irrelevant, because you didn't specify that it would transform the "other" Murlocs on your board. Therefore, the Conjurer will be included and become a Demon immediately. I think he should cost more, to be a later swing for Murloc games that don't end early.

KANSAS - I believe someone created a Murlocs -> Pirates idea already among the submissions. Beyond that, I just don't find the effect that interesting.

On a different note, I'm curious if their hero power will be upgrade-able with Justicar Trueheart, and if so, will it be 2 damage for 1 mana, or something else? If so, will Sir Finley of the Sands be able to discover an upgraded hero power for Demon Hunter?

Yes, Justicar Trueheart and Baku the Mooneater upgrade your Hero Power to "+2 Attack this turn" for 1 mana.

@linkblade: Both are good cards, but I think Forge Elemental is the more interesting and flavorful of the two.

Alright, I'll go with that one for now. I spruced it up a bit with some light editing; giving it a better name for starters:

As for your cards, I like the Bronze Mechadrake more. I was thinking of using that Curator image myself, but it doesn't fit the beasts in the image-slot very well and the card overall feels forced to me. Bronze Mechadrake on the other hand fuses Dragon Paladin with Mech Paladin to make an appealing late-game minion. Hopefully people see that it's different enough from Sleepy Dragon to warrant existing.

These are my early ideas; the effects feel plain, but hopefully the flavor is on-point. I'll keep brainstorming.

Forge Elemental crafts better Mechs from its own body, making them extra sharp (like swords and stuff).

Wildfire Dragon is fueled by the presence of Elementals, blasting enemies with the excess energy.
