I made the mistake a couple years ago of dusting many of my wild cards. At the time my interest was only playing standard. Now I am finding I really enjoy wild and wish I hadn't dusting anything. Because interests may change over time, I would advise folks not to dust anything.
Thematically, makes sense for rogues to be a strong secret class. I hope they continue to reveal cards that support secret rogue. Ambush is solid; add a couple more secrets and a couple more minions with synergy and we're in business.
First thought: I think a limited number of charge cards like Leeroy Jenkins are good for the game. Leeroy does 6 damage from hand for 5 mana and can be blocked by taunt and secret cards; Fireball does 6 damage for 4 mana and can only be blocked by secret cards. Mage class identity is built around large burst damage from hand, but pulling off OTK's like Exodia Mage is tricky. Leeroy Jenkins is a powerful card and can be abused by some decks (historically mostly rogue whose class identity is built around pulling off tricky combo mechanics), but I believe it adds value. Players have to make a choice when they are under 15 health, can i risk getting hit by Leeroy Jenkins shenanigans and play greedy or do I need to be cautious just in case my opponent can pull off big face damage. I wouldn't want this to change.
Second thought: Rush is a good mechanic. Even aggro decks benefit from carrying some rush. I don't think we are over-saturated with rush yet, but I am glad to see some cards rotating out to give room to a new mechanic. Having a variety of mechanics in play in a single meta is nice. I would love to see enrage and inspire on some new cards as well. I guess that is why I like wild.
Right now I'm at rank 11 in both wild and standard. This is usually my ceiling but occasionally I've moved into the rank 6 to 10 bracket. Lately I've been playing secret mage in wild and face hunter in standard since the decks are pretty inexpensive.
Did Blizzard take f2p players into consideration? Yes, big improvements for F2p and for the cost of the game
Which class attracts you most? Hunter , there will be a fusion of 2 mechanics that works great.
Mage? it's the most fun class
Is the new mechanic cool? It's very skillbased
If these things are true, I will be excited.
I'm not F2P, but I think the current cost to stay competitive is too high.
Related to hunter it's the fusion of two mechanics that has my interest.
I'm hoping some of the mage fun involves meme decks.
I think skill based mechanics are good for the health of the game. Folks complain about the high impact of RNG on win rates. Even a moderate lowering of the RNG impact would be good for the game.
I'm not opposed to an endorsement system, but I'm not sure it would be as effective as it is in OW. What specifically would i endorse someone for? Not roping? That is just basic courtesy. IMO, that is too low a bar to award medals. A great deck? Sure, but that is subjective and how do I know the player didn't net-deck? To some degree Hearthstone is rock-paper-scissors. When someone crushes me with rock when I am scissors that doesn't merit a medal. Perhaps the inverse is true, but in that situation I likely badly misplayed my deck. If there was a way for experienced players to coach new players in game (I'm talking about a built in system, not from streaming), that worth be worth rewarding, but currently the level of interaction between players in so minimal, I'm not sure an endorsement system would help.
I agree Auto-battlers and TCG are separate game genres that may appeal to separate audiences, but I don't think Blizzard will separate battlegrounds from base Hearthstone. More likely Blizzard will try and incentivize battlegrounds players to play base Hearthstone. Even if they only got a small portion of the auto-battler gaming community to buy base Hearthstone cards, they would be increasing their profits. And if people who buy enough cards get all the battlegrounds perks, you may increase base Hearthstone player retention, by giving them another play mode when they want a change of pace.
I'm enjoying trying to win with each deck and each class. The first few bosses of each wing feel repetitive but overall I like the flavor of each wing. I'm satisfied that I am getting my money's worth for buying the adventure. The only thing I would change is rather than regular card packs, I would prefer earning a new small set of cards like in Naxxeramus or One Night in Karazan.
Good times! Thanks.

This is one of the cards I would really like to make work. I wounder if this could this work as a taunt clear in a carpet zoolock?
I had great luck! I got Zephrys the Great, Flik Skyshiv, and a Plague of Death. Really helped fill in my Year of the Dragon set.
All signs point to Face Collector. Seriously though, Tess Greymane or Trade Prince Gallywix would be awesome.
OP could have phrased it better, but if you have already played Metamorphosis, then Garrison Commander, Clockwork Automaton, and Prince Taldaram combined with your hero power is a 40 damage OTK. Sure it requires setup and mana cheating from Emperor Thaurissan or Skull of Gul'dan, but most if not all OTK require setup.
Thanks for keeping it factual. Love the Deathwing art.
I'm wishing that RNG Santa Genie will bring me Astromancer Solarian, Kargath Bladefist, and Shadowjeweler Hanar.

Sounds like fun, but I dusted my Baku the Mooneater. Now that I play more Wild than Standard, I wish I hadn't. Lesson learned on dusting cards anyway.

Congrats! Any tips for fellow budget players trying to reach legend (wild or standard)?
These are the cards I'd like to see un-nerfed. I'm not anticipating they all will be ... looking at you Barnes.
Wild
Yogg-Saron, Hope's End
Barnes
Saronite Chain Gang
Spiteful Summoner
Bonemare
Year of the Raven
Raiding Party
Reckless Experimenter
Dr. Boom, Mad Genius
Extra Arms
Year of the Dragon
Sludge Slurper
If these things are true, I will be excited.

Same here. Was sad to read of Hearthpwn's demise, but glad to read of this new site. Looking forward to continued awesome Hearthstone discussions.
