I understand that it's frustrating for the folks who have to sit around and upload the reveal content, but is it so bad for the average viewer? I don't begrudge the fella an opportunity to use a Hearthstone reveal to plug Hearthstone content, given how rare Hearthstone tournament viewership can be. Thijs gets a plus and for the 95% of people that check the news site for new cards at day-end or day-beginning, nothing changes.
Tacking on to the bit where it absorbed Denathrius's soul, what if the weapon used your lifepoints as health or durability somehow? For instance:
"Transform your hero into a sword. Its attack is a third of your lifepoints, rounded down."
Or maybe it's something similar with a minion, like "Infuse (1): Gain the dead minion's stats." Or, heck, maybe it's a minion that you play with "End of turn: Absorb all other minions' attack and health. Transform into a sword!" Maybe it isn't a complete coincidence that Sword Isekai and this card are coming out in the same year, heh.
The guarantee to almost always hit face makes this a good aggressive card, no? I could see it as the top-end in a tempo warrior, should such a deck exist.
I've nowhere near the coins to care about the excess coins system, but I'm really enjoying these limited-time tasks while they last. It's the same brand of enjoyment as the ole Dungeon Runs, but more and more replayable. A grand ole time.
I read this task ENTIRELY wrong. Less importantly, the lack of an Oxford comma made me think it was just about 'Azshara, Tidemistress' and another guy (not having played the Bounty yet). More importantly, 'in one turn' - that makes it sound like you're supposed to kill them in just a single turn, right? For what it actually is, they should have written "during the same turn."

If this ends up being a series on innovative yet unsuccessful card games, Krosmaga would be another great one to cover. Like Chronicles to Runescape and Hearthstone to WOW, Krosmaga is the counterpart to the French MMORPGs Wakfu and Dofus (you may recognize the former by the anime based on its lore). It's an extremely cute, well-themed game with interesting ideas about how legendary cards function, how game end occurs (deception is involved! delightfully devilish, Seymour), and how combat plays out - each players' minions trundle a 'speed' distance down a track at the end of each players' turn; of six tracks, three contain game ending obtainables, two being required to prevail.
Above all else, Krosmaga is the cute Animal Crossing of card games. It should've been far more successful, but was never developed consistently. You CAN still play it through Steam or the Ankama Launcher, though! There's a small, dedicated community :)
The Shadowverse community calls them Handless decks, which seems like a fair compromise between the two.
Priest of the Deceased - "Funnel cakes? I haven't had those in years?"
Murlocula - The best part of Murlocula is when he said "IT'S MRRGLIN' TIME" and totally mrrgled those guys.
Natural Causes - What if the suspect was framed? What if the murder weapon was... a plant?
Vengeful Visage - The mirror shows us nothing less than the deepest, darkest desire of our hearts: to go face.
Sinrunner - Blanchy was said to be an affectionate and well-behaved horse in life. How she ended up in Revendreth? We're too afraid to ask.

You advertise Ivus, Forest Lord for the Anacondra Druid list, but he isn't actually in that list. He definitely should be!

I can't help but feel that ALL the cards who won Magma Rager awards will find space in at least one Standard deck. It's tradition, after all.
This list is neat, but I think the right move for deck diversity is to bring back Jade Golem cards. That's what the game needs.
All I want to say is that this card art is wonderful. Blessed be to the underwater expansion for bringing us the best art we've had in years.
