  • In most situations it just ends up being a 3 mana 3/4, needs way too much build around to get the effect off

  • Looks playable, Ooze is still probably better though

  • A nice early board clear that gets even better with its synergy, looks great to me.

  • Way too many low rolls for this to ever see much play

  • Looks nice enough, Hunter’s always gonna love some more draw.

  • Bit weird to see this now, since pirates haven’t been that great for a little while. Wonder if this means we’ll be seeing some more pirates later on this expansion.

As for the card itself, tutoring 3 sounds great on paper, and pirates as a tribe thrive on this kind of added fuel. Not entirely sure the pirates are gonna be good enough though, they might be what drags the deck down

  • I mean regardless of whether or not you’re playing a dragon deck you’d want to use this just for the value it gives you. Makes running a dragon deck a lot easier if it’s highlander as well, since the extra dragons will make it more consistent.

  • Definitely something to worry about when your opponent plays it, can pretty easily win them the game if not dealt with quickly

  • They’re really pushing the archetype huh? A really good card to make up for any subpar cards you might’ve used to activate it

  • A bit awkward to use with some dragons since a lot of the big ones cost 9 or 10. Other than that looks like it’ll be good enough

This will work like a fusion between Ancient Harbinger during the old gods expansion, and Kalimos, Primal Lord, which is insane.

The ability to give a board clear or heal to 5/9 classes seems dangerous, and right now I am hopping that the shaman Galakrond is terrible, because we still have that funny little shaman quest hangging around!

I even dare say that Galakrond decks will arise not due to Galakrond but due to this card.

    5/5

I mean to get the Devastations, you need to have played Galakrond already, so unless you’re planning on holding onto the quest until after you’ve drawn and played a one of in your deck, you’re out of luck on double battlecries for him

  • In what world  is drawing 4 cards useless?

  • The card is nice, I’m just kind of confused why the one class that’s good at shuffling in tons of copies of minions into their deck is getting the card that counters that strategy

  • It shouldn’t destroy the enemy hero if they’re Jaraxxus since the battlecry makes him no longer a minion

  • I’d be amazed if this card ended up seeing no play with just how much card draw that is.

  • With any control deck it shouldn’t be too hard for it to summon a big taunt minion, at worst it’ll probably summon a 4/4, with bigger ones being relatively common

  • Seems a bit redundant to me, if you’re in a situation where you can avoid taking damage, a lot of the time that means you’ve already stabilized against aggressive decks

  • I wouldn’t say it’s just filler, just rather situational. I’d personally think of filler as more yeti stuff.

If their board is full or you have a board clear it could be decent enough, don’t think there’s too many 1 drops that could screw you over (really only that poisonous one in wild)

  • Not that great, but Galakrond’s effect might be good enough to run it anyways.

  • Probably the one auto include invoke card, simply because it’s looking to be the best one some classes will have access to
