You know what's really offensive?  The fact that women are apparently not allowed to wear anything "revealing" in modern society anymore.  The only statement I'm getting from these changes is that women should watch what they wear, lest they arouse or corrupt random men.  Meanwhile, men can wear whatever the fuck they like

Except, Queen of Pain and Secretkeeper are wearing LESS CLOTHING now. Windfury Harpy is wearing a little bit more, but she's still basically naked. It's certainly not the winged aerobics teachers you see in western Yu-Gi-Oh.

I really doubt censorship or China had anything to do with these changes. If they did, they would've just region locked it they did for The Skeleton Knight, Abomination, and a bunch of other cards. They did this because Hearthstone's art has evolved. They don't want to depict blood and violent deaths anymore. They don't want women in stupid-looking poses. They probably don't want succubi because of the connotations. The game is very cartoony now, and they want to stay consistent with that theme.

Deadly did the reverse.  WTF is the new card demonstrating.  Couldn't you..say, just do a shadow effect of an arrow going through a 'target' or..well something other than a random arrow flying through the air?

I like Deadly Shot's art conceptually. It's literally the 'before' of the original picture. It's the ballista arrow that's about to pierce that tauren. It definitely pays homage to the original artwork.

  • Reno would make more sense as a red dragon, what with the treasure-loving. Renostrasz.

  • I don't imagine this creating any new archetypes right now, especially when Nightmare Amalgam is already a midrange dragon. I am happy to see a solid 3-mana dragon in Classic forever, though.

    Something Deathrattle-related.

EDIT: Misread the spell part. You can ignore me if you want.

  • If you pay attention to Tehkan in the Dalaran Heist, he makes a lot of cryptic references to Rafaam and why he's working for him. That could just be character building, but it isn't played for laughs and it also isn't terribly informative. Maybe Rafaam is taking Dalaran to the Lost City of the Tol'vir. I never discredit weird things in solo adventures ever since Experiment 3C in The Witchwood was a giant hint at The Boomsday Project.

I'd personally love a broad Uldum-themed set, even if just for the location. We had some desert stuff in LoE, but it was only on a handful of the cards with Stranglethorn and Uldaman also fighting for attention. It's a good open space to explore.

  • I'm still a little sad they removed Mind Blast, to be honest. I fully agree with the class flavour reasons, but the balance seemed on point to me. Basic and Classic cards in my eyes should be cards that aren't mainstays but can become key pieces of decks with the right synergy. Mind Blast was considered a joke card for years, and it wasn't until Shadow Visions and a bursty Priest archetype came out that it actually was played.

I also wish Radiance was just a reprint of Flash Heal. Would anyone really care if they reprinted some junker cards like that? I'd love a new Darkbomb with different flavour, for example.

  • It both generates the spell and casts it with random targets.

It has to be a minion. Otherwise, go nuts.

  • This deck sucks so much. I don't want to be so negative, but playing this has been a horribly negative experience. You can't do anything in the early game, so aggro decks can freely wail on you long before any of your combos matter. Granted, I haven't seen it against slower decks... because there are none. This deck is waaaaay too slow to actually function.

I also want Warlock to be good right now, but it just ain't.
