  • There is a lot of support in wild for this including the spellstone, Deadly Arsenal, Malkorok and Furnacefire Colossus.  These cards never got the support they deserved so hopefully this quest buffs them.  Thankfully the quest doesn't have anything to do with taunt.  It promotes a different archetype we haven't seen in a while and variety is good.  I hope this enables a contol/midrange pirate warrior.  Nice job on this quest even if it turns out weak in standard.

  • I'm going to have to make an all ogre deck in wild now.  Keep those ogres coming!

  • I can't believe they are buffing conjurers calling with this.  We now need at least 3 horribly stated 10+ drops to cancel this out.  Outside of transform effects,  you need to contact this thing 3 time at least to kill it.  Sure there are other more efficient methods like BGH, transform, and power word whatever,  but I just cannot wrap my head around how this reborn mechanic is supposed to function in a healthy diverse meta without locking out half the archetypes for a majority of classes.  Am I going to have to put in 4-10 tech cards in my decks to account for situations like this.  I guess they have tested these decks so the meta can withstand it, but I will believe it only when I see it! 

  • I guess this makes reborn minions even stickier now.  I don't how how good this minion is, but it is clearly much better than Dollmaster Dorian. I will probably try some Master Oakheart synergies in wild.

    Mostly this. My guess is the long awaited shadow priest support, and they will save that and a legendary minion for the final stream.  I think the quest will be silence related though.

  • This reborn minion is below average.  That makes me happy, however he goes into the 5-cost summon pool.  It is going to suck if this one gets summoned against you.

  • Now the real question is: will Shaggy be able to discover Scooby Do ( a new taunt beast) to come and save the day?

    Completely agree, nothing about this art says 'taunt'. Usually there's some visual cue like a really big strong looking character or someone holding a shield or something that suggests that they'd stand in your way but this guy looks like he just wants to avoid confrontation and would be more likely to have stealth than taunt.

    He wants to hide but cannot so no stealth.  He is shaking in his boots and his bones are rattling loudly ( just like the Scooby Do cartoon).  He is drawing a whole lot of attention to himself so therefor he has taunt. 

  • I'm fine with this card, but we better not get a second warrior quest that involves taunt minions! I want that quest to support a different archetype.

  • This looks absolutely broken in arena!

  • Luna's Pocket Galaxy and Plot Twist/ Quest Warlock come to mind.  If you can kill 2 of these with [Hearthstone Card (Herek the Bat) Not Found] in hand then Batman Warlock  becomes almost playable.

  • Yes!!! More support for Moorabi .... err, I mean Totem Cruncher.

  • This looks like a control card thankfully.  Secret control mage could use more support, but I'm hoping the freeze variant isn't the dominant version.  It probably will be though in standard.

  • Filler minion that serves as a nerf to all murloc generators such as Underbelly Angler, Neptulon, and Megafin.  Adding cards to your opponents hand could be ok in mill decks as well.

  • I'm having flashbacks to the Civilaztion 6: Gathering Storm reveal!   For those of you that missed it, it was a screen of bad weather with the sound effects and lasted for like  24 hours!

  • The Demon pool might be at the strongest point I've ever seen in standard at the moment.  Dark Possession is worth a serious look in a sacrifice style deck.  Bane of Doom is slightly better.  Demonic Project is probably too risky now.  Better too go with the Dirty Rat clones.

  • The 5-drop summon pool just got nuked!  Most if not all of the 0-attack minions in the game are meme level.  I hope we get some 0-attack synergy cards to make them all a little easier to work with.  It could even be in Quest form.  Does anyone else find it a little suspicious that structures are starting to find their way into the game now.  Blackhowl Gunspire was in Witchwood for example.  Could we finally be getting the 'Structure' Tag in an upcoming expansion that so many people have done in card creations?

  • I like this card a lot.  It forces you to build most of your deck (especially the early game) around weapons, spells, and non-beast minions.  The effect won't be good enough on any beast that costs 3 or less so I don't think Tundra Rhino will be too abusive.

    And I am a bit disappointed, that the quest is so strict: Reborn is a keyword from only one expansion, which will restrict deckbuilding tremendously. So if there's a deck for this card, there is also exactly only ONE deck for this card. Which will be sad for the 1/9 of the budgetplayers that got this one.

    I mostly agree with you.  You will be using the same core 6-10 reborn cards to construct the deck every time.  There will be more than 1 deck though as new expansions release.  There could be 2-of mech, divine shield, or dragon variants; but also do not discount a potential highlander deck with this quest.  Paladin already has its full heal in Nozari ( aka a more fair Reno Jackson) on deck to help make control work.  It just needs a few more powerful tools to go late game.  It is a very restrictive quest like warlock's quest (Plot Twist being required).  I am just glad Priest did not get this and I hope priest gets anything other than a deathrattle or reborn theme for its quest.
