Lmao, Deathrattle DH is such a joke lol, the Druid getting even bigger and better minions was just the icing on the cake. I thought there would actually be some good deathrattles lol
Thanks Blizzard for making Rogue the overpowered abomination that it is. Controlling the board for the whole game, still at 27 health, I steal my opponent's buffed weapon. What does he do? Plays his 1 mana draw 4 FUCKING CARDS FOR WITH NO DOWNSIDE. Plays a stealth minion I can't interact with, deals 20 damage in 1 turn and then draws his eviscerates and sinister strike. Nice.
A lot of people are saying this card is insane but I just don’t see it personally.
Firstly, it costs 4 mana and that seems like way too high a cost to be played comfortably. You probably wouldn’t keep this in your mulligan unless you were playing a... control Rogue?
Secondly, it is also a combo effect and you’ll probably get it online on turn 5 most of the time... and then you play two 1 cost cards.
It just seems like the community is overreacting again. Thoughts?
Seems really good in general! It comes out after Sword Eater, and 2 4/4s with buff potential seem excellent. It just depends on what deck it will go into.
So this tells me that DH is either going to get some board positioning effects or they are going to start going into a deathrattle direction. Although I don’t really see the connection between deathrattles and Demon Hunters, I’m always open to more ways for both players to be able to pseudo play around things especially in the way DH will be using both outcast on the board and in their hand
This is a crazy strong card in Standard, but I don’t know if it will be run as the meta is already lightning fast and with Tickatus in rotation, Warlock does not need a slower and more unreliable control win-condition. However, I am excited for the deck-building opportunities this card will open, or at least to see Jaraxxus in play.
Well Priest has moved away from a “control” identity to more of a “value” identity.
Warlock has now taken on the role of being a heavy control deck with its win condition of either Tickatus deleting your deck or outlasting aggro decks. It removes every single minion you play and has a large assortment of removal tools, sinilar to the old Priest. It however does not have many value generation tools and what you get is what you see, you can usually play around most of the things in their deck.
Since its win condition (Tickatus does not revolve around using the board in any capacity, there are not many chances to interact with their gameplan apart from the new Vol’jin card. Its definitely a feels bad moment when your win conditions are burned away by Tickatus.
I am confused? Why did you swap ramp pally, which is the best deck in the format for something as mediocre like control warlock? I am not surprised you fell down the ladder again.
You should consult vicious syndicate for the best deck in your ranking segment.
Just play the most broken deck and try to optimize your decision making. This should take you to legend in no time.
It depends: if he is facing a lot of aggro decks then Warlock would be a better choice because Ramp Paladin gets absolutely bodied if it does not draw Allura otherwise. Also, enjoying the deck you are playing is probably the most important part! Why play a game if not to have fun?
To OP: In terms of deck, you have a lot of Soul Fragment cards, I think Soulciologist would fit right in as a way to corrupt Tickatus and be a value/control tool. Also, there is a clear anti-synergy between Quests and Soul Fragments, so I wonder if that’s anything to consider. Anyway, I’m rooting for you to hit legend!

2017: Discard hand
2021: Discard deck
20??: Discard hero

Seriously? Cutterbutter? To each their own then
Me and the two other people who still play Arena are crying right now. Crazy value, force a removal or kill a minion and keep up card advantage
They need to swap the names around, so we have Brilliant Pearl and [Shining Diamond]

AND YOU GET A PYROBLAST! EVERYBODY GETS ONE!

Murloc Tinyfin has returned! That’s all I really needed anyway.
I like how Demon Hunter’s class identity is shifting to include charge as a keyword. Its almost as if we needed more reasons to dislike the class

Please, no one would run a vanilla 3/4.
Nobody ever finds Mankrik’s Wife!
It just sounds like its shaping up to be a glorified dungeon run
Angry Chicken
Oh God. Have mercy on us all...
