Hi everyone, trying something new this week. This is going to be a poll to vote on which deck should be in an article next week with a full guide.
Please vote on one or more of the following comments containing a name of a deck, and the deck with the highest score in 6 days will be in next week’s article.
I did some limited testing and it does seem like it’s easier at the end (you seem to play vs some already Legend players who are just memeing at that point).
One thing you can do to prevent yourself from stressing out about the climb is don’t think of it like a climb. Instead, try to get stats on a deck. For example, either with deck tracker or just writing it down, you can get stats as to how a deck is doing against different matchups. Try to commit to maybe 50 games, then see what are your good and bad matchups. Sometimes if a deck is truly over 50% winrate, you’ll just get to Legend naturally while testing a deck like this. Otherwise, you can at least see if your winrate is improving (for example is it higher in first half or last half of the games) and see if you’re facing a lot of good, bad or neutral matchups. Finally, you can try to keep going if it’s doing well, or if it didn’t naturally get you to Legend then clearly it’s not working out so you repeat this stat gathering for a different deck. Even if you don’t climb you still get useful stats and data, and when your “goal” is to get stats and not climb you feel like you’re making progress even if you don’t climb initially as you keep going towards your stat goal number of games.
He is a must, he won me a ton of games. One bad draw but then all 3 of your key cards right at the top is invaluable for consistency. Right now I’m working on a few non-odd non-even paladin decks.
I am quitting HS as of today (already deleted the app) after playing the game since Goblins vs Gnomes.
Ever since Stormwind wild has not been enjoyable and this new expansion has not fixed it. I might come back to the game if they ever do address wild’s issues but it has been almost 5 months and nothing has been done.
Thanks to everyone who supported any of the decks I posted over the years.
I would recommend adding in Dark Skies and Multicaster. Been playing around with wild owl deck and wild Hakkar deck with this sort of package and having Fel Fire and Shadow spells and Multicaster for drawing 2 or 3 cards has been simply incredible.
I haven’t played against that deck much at all, but try to make your own huge minions with the help of Brann, Bolner, Snowfall Guardians and Parrot and then remove their board. I think you may be able to outvalue them. Flurgl and Toxfin is also huge in that matchup.
Also I think I may have underestimated the sheer power of Snowpaw Cavern as based on feedback from people who watched standard theorycraft streams it’s very strong, it may be worth cutting both Kazakus and Fireheart for 2 copies of it. Not sure yet because Kazakus is strong too but will have to test it out.
In my opinion Kalimos is still great and a lot better than Bru'kan in wild Elemental Shaman. When you are trying to win fast, a 7/7 body is a lot more important for tempo than having no body but long term hero power value. Furthermore, Kalimos can have reduced cost from Granite Forgeborn while Bruk'an will not.
Reno Big Spell Mage
Reno Druid

Pirate Warrior is good enough for sure.

good video here by Jack (top 1 wild Legend finisher during Snip-Sn4p times)
Apparently the top 1 Legend on all 3 servers is an ignite mage cheater. Complete disregard for any competitive integrity in wild.
Either Dire Frostwolf or Twilight Runner.

Shaman is my favorite class so I am so happy about this archetype being viable now.

Try Loatheb or a Snowblind Harpy and Lightning Blooms.
Recommend for maximum Flavor

I opened a golden Brukan from preorder so I certainly hope so.
Maybe Reno Elemental Control Shaman?

Yeah Bolner is pretty powerful, you can put in Armor Vendors instead for more survival early game and The Lurker Below if you have him.
