  • Am I the only one finding the artificially cute characters annoying? I mean it is annoying enough that poros,  poundermonkeys are a thing but now Riot has to diversify this kind of content further?

Yeah you can say it doesn't hurt anyone... but I don't mind any of these creatures dieng to the Reckoning

... and now get this fricking  poro off my leg already!

  • I experienced so far that Zilean does great work in P&Z and is a worthy chief inspector

    In reply to Overtuned?
  • Sounds good I order 10!

  • Something that I found worth building around in Guardians of the ancient is Zilean in P&Z. The main reason for this is that Zilean's predicts proably one of the best ways to reliably assemble Chirean Sumpworkers early and that every decent zilean card is 1 or 2 mana working nicely with Insightful Investigator forming a deck that not only enters the board right away but also has the scaling needed to beat control later in the game.

Currently Vi seem to be the optimal second champion and I am quite optimistic that this deck will be good, especially because predict and the likes of Gotcha!

  • It's almost like it was the idea of the deck to spam attacks and attack triggers...

I mean yeah it's kinda interesting for some hours but given all you cards do very similar things and that the deck is doing it's one thing every game more or less the same way because it is so consistant at doing it... is getting kinda boring and spamming 1 effect over and over again doesn't feel really deep as a concept.

  • Given that Blighted Caretaker was a really strong, borderline broken card since it's release during rising tides it is surprising thst the nerf came so late and also in the least meaningful way.

1 Attack is certainly not a small deal for caretaker and reduces his extreme snowball potential but I am quite sure it still will be a (very) strong card.

  • If you ask me this sounds like Riot took the oppotunity to take over the early access event for streamers that wotc previously did for magic the gathering Arena (lately abandonned) giving streamers the chance to be the first players playing the new expansion and create hype for the expansion this way

  • Ribbon dancer is certainly going to be one of the best 2 drops of the game and I am curious how strong decks around this dude can become but I am afraid it could form a tier 0 ionia deck... at least it's a viable Ionia deck for once :)

  • I know this is a huge call but I call it now: this is going to be more broken than Hush the ability to choose new targets for enemy's spot removal, the ability to make every unblocked unit potentially leathal and the ability to protect units in combat from getting wiped out by a combat trick is so much power in a 2 mana burst speed spell that this card HAS TO BE broken.

So I guess Ionia is getting back to the playfield...

  • I kinda like the idea behind this guy. A 4 mana x/6 is a good statline yet, it won't be easy to get these stats connected to the opponent's fa... nexus so yeah he could be really good or really bad

  • This is significantly worse than Ribbon Dancer, yet it is still decent and might be a 1 or 2 of in the right deck

  • Well... this is going to be BROKEN with the shuriman "summon on attack" landmarks. If all you need to do for an free attack is playing a 2 drop... in a Region with a ton of bounce effects for own units then THIS card is INSANE at getting extra attack phases. Attacking 3+ times in a turn won't be any difficult with that... Yeah forget about Lucian Azir and say hello to Azir irelia

  • For Malphite you forgot Garen as a possible Partner because if you are an unstopable force... why wouldn't you want to be unstopable on both turns?

  • Quote From linkblade91

But Targon already got its champion for this expansion: Malphite. The three champions for the last set should be Shurima, Bilgewater, and Piltover/Zaun; SkinSpotlights discovered audio files that gave away most of the champions (again):

    Show Spoiler
    • Bilgewater is Pyke - Bone Skewer gives it away.
    • Piltover/Zaun is Ekko.
    • Shurima is rumored to be Rek'Sai, but she doesn't have much in the way of voice lines to be sure. Another possibility is Xerath, but he was not in the leaked files IIRC.
    • Everyone else revealed/released so far were in the files.

    Plus...you know...Targon has a Daybreak champion already :P

A daybreak champion that mediocre that my Yasuo list will proably cut Leona entirely ...

  • I think this card is harder to use than it looks. The fact that you can't choose the target and that this card has to be your first card played each turn may be really awkward to use sometimes. It is certainly strong for it's cost but not 5 stars imo

  • In a way this unit is better than Sejuani so I guess we will see this card a lot...

  • They REALLY want yasuo leona decks to become a thing I suppose.

  • a 0 mana elusive 1/1 with an ability meant for combo'ing is something that hardly can be bad but we don't have the payoff for this card to actually be nuts so let's see if it we get it.

    It's a 4/5 without that.

  • If you think how this card plays out then... I take a 5/3 spellshield/Challenger/tough/overwhelm. The card bears the chance to brick which proably kill's It's competetive viability but this card is far from a bad card
