Where is Taric Elites in here? Like... I ruined many plays the day by attacking 3+ times in the same round and given how easy it is to go with Golden Aegis
By the way? Am I the only one who finds it lame that on day 1 of the expansion already about 60-70% of decks are copy-paste list from the internet? Like why would you ruin the experimentation phase like this? To win some normal game that do not matter for your rank at all?
maybe... but I think you will think different of the card after it ruined noumerous of your open attacks/ finished you from empty board later in the game
For an extra cost and it's really not like many decks fill the spell/ability bar. It wrecks some decks other decks won't care about. It is niche enough to be fair imo
Azir is just insane like... he is so easy to level up he is so dangerous and the more I think about Azir's generals and soldiers theme I think we don't need Hecarim at all in this deck. Yes, he levels up all the time and if he does so he is really strong... but why not replace at least 1 Hecarim with Maokai so that we got an alternative wincondition just in case...
That is an Interesting way to enable nexus attacks...
I mean if you are not connecting to the nexus with this you do something wrong however: 7 mana slow speed is hard to use and it makes you super vulnerable to boardwipes in response or a Deny... it is a risk that might pay out but still I think it's rather too slow and clunky to be good
Now this CAN be really devestating in the right matchup but it will be aweful in other matchups. Will it be Shurima's Deny ? Most likely. But it comes at a higher cost and it is disruptable itself unless you sac a mana gem...
This is a really strong chanpion. Summoning 10 units is super easy to do in ephemeral builds, before level up he is a useful pseudo landmark but after level up... ouch this will summ up to really large and scary boards that have the problem to be almost completely 1 toughness but 5/6/7 in power each...
That is a Pretty decent wayto create chumb blockers at burst speed. As an offensive trick this card blows pretty hard because who pays 3 mana per burst speed 1/1 created? Okay admittedly it will be more like burst speed x/1 and could see this also offensively usuable in specialized token decks but first and foremost i see this as a chumb blocker to got
I disagree with Hush being Fast speed. Yes, it would slow down its effectiveness, but imo Hush creates the same spell speed dilema as Frostbite spells, and both effects are pretty similar. Fast speed Frostbties/Hush shuts down attempts of buffing units in combat, with those being burst speed, you can at least buff again after they cast the effect. Besides, I think one of the main reasons of Hush's dominance is being a burst speed silence towards champions - no other spell can shut down champion-based strategies so well like Hush.
^This. I agree that Hush is a problematic card but I don't think changing it's speed to fast is a good solution.
This is my first draft of the AzirHecarim archetype. I made up a List which features getting many critters onto the battlefield and giving them aoe attack buffs to force the opponent to block our units... Until they can't do that anymore.
The attack values that this deck should reach on the sand soldiers should be about 6 in the average game and that should be quite scary.
Phantom Pranksters are here to make chumb blocking wiping the board for the opponent more difficult.
I think Azir is going to be great, the question is if the deck keeps what it promises
What do you mean Vi is completely out of bizness? In every non Hush matchup that I play her she wrecks the enemy big time (Playing RivenVi elusive overwhelm)... But yeah Hush is in general too strong of an effect to be burst speed (as we have said dozens of times here already) and with shurima being Riot's new selling point I think they tune down targon a lot in the next patches to come. Shurima has strong tricks too but it's WAY less about shutting down the enemy and WAY more about making own plays count which is the runeterra I loved when the game was released
THIS ... this is one of the (if not THE) best defensice 1 drops in the game
It can be used eighter as a chumb blocker for 2 units or 2 attackers for just 1 mana. It is a solid answer to every onedrop exept fearsome ones and goes crazy with eighter the general buff effects or death triggers...
Now this card is in my oppinion REALLY strong. simply because it resembles an undying attacker that triggers repeated death triggers, summon trigger hecarim lvl up for just 2 mana ... oh wait... that is what The Undying does already right? Exept that we makes the opponent want to block the unit, is 1 mana cheaper and does the death/summon trigger thing better than The Undying
To me this makes clear that the sandsoldier archetype will be played in SI featuring the plenty ephemeral/death effects from SI and it makes clear that this archetype will struggle against aggro/midrange... its literally The Undying 2.0 imo
If sandsoldiers are good this card is awesome, if they are not, this card is mediocre. I guess we have to see anyways: the ties with Shadowisles are obvious and we proably will see an azir hecarim archetype.
this is kinda a bad Voice of the Risen. However i can see the combination of both general type followers being devestating, espeicially in ephemeral decks
A free 6/6 for aggressive midrange deck?! That is very interesting however we got to see many times that these giant-style minions tend to be bad in LoR. So will it be good? Arbiter of the PeakPlaza Guardian and Scuttlegeist all were a fail so I am not too confident that this will be different. However this card could be an absolute powerhouse in ephemeral decks... or actually not because otherwise Scuttlegeist would see play already...

I told you guys that Riven Vi was a thing . Although this build is more conservative than mine I can still say I called it

I also agree, focus is the right speed here

Not bad, but also not particularly good... Proably will see some play in the azir archetyoe but nowhere else

Most likely the red card nerf (because removing attune would be a flavour fail for tf) also maybe they add 1/2 cards to the level up condition
Blade's Edge finally can feel like a good card because it just got a bad cousin
