  • Interesting with Dr. Boom, Mad Genius. At the moment he isn't seeing much play in Wild, and this card alone won't make those strategies a lot better, but that doesn't mean they're bad. They're good enough to have fun with, but not really competitive. Still, I'd like to try this out in a Highlander deck. I just love me some highlander!

In Arena, the good old Water Elemental is still the king of 3/6's, but this is this certainly up there assuming you can stretch your games long enough to draw those 2/1's.

  • I have a semi-viable Highlander deck in Wild with some synergy for this card, but I'm not really sure I want to slot this is in. Strangely enough, this might be a better fit in Standard if some more hand buff cards get revealed. And it's decent in Arena, even without getting hand buffed.

  • I guess this is like Serpentbloom except it works the other way around. Will probably see about as much play as Serpentbloom.

Alright, so thanks to the tradeable keyword you can make sure you pull the other one from your deck with the deathrattle, or alternatively, for when you near the end of your deck you can put some nice deathrattle cards back into your deck so that they can be summoned by Death Speaker Blackthorn. Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if this goes right into that already existing Deathrattle Demon Hunter.

For some reason I thought this card had Rush. I does not and that makes this card drastically worse.

  • Time to shine for Gonk Druid!

On a more serious note, does anyone know if you need to gain the attack in 1 turn or will hero powers over time do as well? This looks like the easiest one to complete so far, but the reward is a bit lackluster too. At least Guff has taunt, that's nice.

  • Cool, cool, cool! Something tells me this is still not enough to make overload work, but I like the direction they're going in with Shaman. Guess we'll have to wait and see till we can actually play these cards.

  • This is a tough one.  Plenty of shenanigans possible, but the shenanigans need to be impactful because you're spending 3 mana on just a 2/4 body, plus it can sit dead in your hand for a while if the shenanigans aren't possible or not good enough. No, I'm not sold on this.

  • This is an attempt to make Guardian Animals viable in Hunter (and make Tiny Toys viable). I can't think of any other reason for Team 5 to print this card. Don't expect this to see a lot of play. It won't be amazing in Arena either, just good.

  • 2 mana deal 8 to face, sure that's a good deal, but to mana deal 2 to face certainly isn't. When is the right time to play this? Is that as soon as possible, because you'll draw those Bloods eventually. or when you're nearing the end of your deck? If you do the first your opponent has a long time to play around those Bloods and it's just a 2 mana deal at the moment, I prefer daggering up over that. But if you choose to wait towards the end of your deck this can be a dead card in your hand for a long time. No, I'm not convinced yet.

  • Ironically, this card could also have used the keyword tradeable for all the times that you don't have tradeable cards in your hand. Yeah, I don't think this card will be played much at all.

  • Another great card for Evenlock! I'm getting excited for this!

  • This can be a 4 mana 9/9 on turn 4. Does that make this card good? Not without support. Luckily for this card Runed Mithril Rod is also announced for this expansion so I see some potential. Maybe Handlock can be a thing once more. In Wild, this will make Evenlock slightly better, but I don't think it'll make a big impact.

  • You'd want to run this for the battlecry, but you're paying too much mana for it's 4/4 body. Sure, the 4/4 isn't completely useless, but what are you going to do with it? The fact that this has tradeable is somewhat redeeming, but it's still not a good card.

  • Why is this a card? Even in Arena I'd avoid this at all costs.

  • This random doesn't have to be all that random if you only run very specific deathrattles. On top of that, this is already a 4 mana 4/2. Good stats, good effect. I like this card. Maybe not a card that will see play in every deck, but I think it'll find a home somewhere.

  • Unless your deck has some healing synergy I don't see why you'd ever want to play this over Underlight Angling Rod.

  • Like Brann Bronzebeard but 1 mana cheaper and Brann does still see plenty of play up to this day. And just like Brann, this is one of those cards that will still see play 5 years from now. It's that good.

  • So I guess we get to see some new Fel spells for Demon Hunter this expansion. As of now this isn't really worth it. The primary spell that you want to recast is Metamorphosis, but that isn't really a meta card at the moment.
