Only playable in Druid and Shaman, but even these classes have a hard time making this card work in their favor. It's not that the effect isn't good, but it likely gets killed after a turn and that nets you 1 mana discount on a random Nature spell. Unless you do that to set up some OTK or awesome combo, it's just not worth a deck slot.

This fits into one deck only and that's the Shaman's new quest deck. It can sit dead in your hand for a long time, because ideally you want to play this after you have finished your quest and have this beefed up. But when you do get to play this it can be instantly game winning, so it's still a very powerful card.

Vanilla stats, powerful effect, jep, this will see play somewhere. In a tempo deck, you probably want to run this along with plenty of card draw because if your board gets cleared after you've vomited all your cheap elementals out of your hand it's game over for you.
I thought about simply submitting this Highlander Evenlock, but I didn't fully build it myself so that's no fun. So, I took a look at the new cards again and two cards drew my attention. I'm really happy with the result. Obviously, it won't be the best deck ever, but it looks super fun and I can't wait to try it out! Small problem is just that I'm still missing some of the older cards like Zai, the Incredible or Metamorphosis.
Now, let's take a look at what you all have built!
That's right, I never had golden Vol'jin, he is/was tavern pass exclusive and I am f2p. However now that he is an achievement reward, I can't get him because I already had the achievement completed. Also the Horde Operative, Burning Blade Acolyte, and Primordial Protector achievements only reward x1 golden copies instead of x2, for whatever reason.
I'm also wondering what's going to happen to regular Mankrik and Shadow Hunter Vol'jin.
It's not specified in the reward description but you will get two. I just completed the Burning Blade Acolyte achievement and I would have gotten two copies if I didn't have them already.

It's nice that this minion is tradeable, but after all, it's just a stat bomb. No more, no less. Won't see any constructed play and it's a mediocre Arena pick at best. Win-more cards like these never do well in Arena.

Preparation is pretty balanced these days. Hot Streak is limited to only Fire spells but has the upside of being a Fire spell itself. So this seems pretty balanced as well.

I believe has two ways to be played. It can be a tempo card where your minions first go face and then you trade them in similar to a card like Trueaim Crescent. But it can also be a value tool, in which case you use this card to refill your hand or get some specific card(s) back into your hand. Unlike Provoke, I do see some potential in this card.

Very powerful card. Will see Standard play untill it rotates out, in Arena this is a near-auto pick, and I wouldn't be surprised if this sees play in Wild as well. APM Mage loves cards like this.

Yes, in Wild this might be scary alongside Sorcerer's Apprentice and Ignite, and if a deck with the new Tony will be a thing, then this will be in there, so this definitely has potential. Both decks will be experimented with, but I'm clueless as to whether they will stay in the meta for long.

Small spells are generally important for Mage, but if you run many small spells you are at risk of not gaining much benefit from this new weapon. This limits you to only play big spells, but that might be too detrimental. I know it's a stretch, but in Wild a new Naga Sand Witch deck just might pop up because of this.

Jep, in Wild Dragoncaster and Inkmaster Solia are both better than this new card and both practically don't see any play at the moment. Sure, Clumsy Courier has the upside of not having to play a highlander deck or run dragons, but it doesn't let you target the spells. Maybe interesting for a Standard deck, but my expectations aren't high.

The randomness of the battlecry might be too awkward for this card to see constructed play, but in Arena this card will be very strong. In Arena it doesn't matter as much which card gets discounted. Discounts on any card are always welcome.

I'm having a hard time visualizing how a constructed deck that supports this card looks like, though I must admit that I haven't played much token Druid nor am I a big fan of that strategy. However, in Arena, I think this card has potential. I don't think it will be hard for Druids to have 2 or more minions on board to get some value out of this card.

2 mana draw 3 is strong already, +1/+1 to all 3 minions drawn is even more desirable. Problem is, in order to draw these 3 beasts, you need 9 friendly beasts to die. Do you still have beasts left in your deck after 9 beasts have died? I doubt it. I know team 5 wants you to play this alongside cards like Rats of Extraordinary Size, but again, I have my doubts if that'll work out.

I wouldn't count this one out just yet. I know it looks strange and you have to jump thru some hoops to make this work, but in the right deck this card certainly has the potential to shine. Problem is, I have no clue what that deck is supposed to look like.

Boy, I'm a sucker for Highlander decks and this looks nifty! I think I'll give this a try once I get my hands on the Questline and the rifle.
Alright, this'll be my entry!

Those 1/1 rats can be annoying in Arena, but that's about it. I'm not convinced at all that a rat deck will be playable in constructed.

Great Arena card as almost all Druid cards this set. If this will see constructed play depends if there turns out to be enough token support.
Very strong card, but it might be too situational for constructed decks. Demon Hunters in Arena will love this!
