A 3 mana 2/5 with Lifesteal and a battlecry that deals 2 damage sounds decent to me already. And this card will only get better as it gets handbuffed even more. Certainly in Standard, this is good enough to see play in handbuff decks, but it might even be good enough for a Wild deck as well. Not sure about that.

This is so bad the turn it gets played and I think that downside is too detrimental for this to ever be a good card, but it will still see some play. Because how else are you ever going to get your Sword of a Thousand Truths?

Paladins like buffs and sticky minions to play the buffs on. Essentially, this card is both. Might occasionally see some play in constructed, but I feel like this is primarily an Arena card. I'm not convinced Divine Shield Pally will be a thing either.

What's to like about a guide is very personal indeed. These are all a bit too detailed for my taste which makes me lose interest in reading the entire guide. They're still well written guides, just not for me. So congrats to the winners, enjoy your mega bundle! And I definitely had fun participating, so thanks for the event!

This probably doesn't do anything specific enough to be played in constructed decks as Sparring Partner also hasn't seen play in years, but in Arena this might occasionally come in handy.

Is this good enough to be run in Handlock? Not in Wild, that's for sure, but I've got a feeling this comes a tad too short to be played in Standard as well. Maybe a memey Silence Priest wants to run this.

I don't know. I have a feeling that people might be underestimating this card. Evolved Kobold didn't get played until you had lethal with burst combined with the +2 spell damage the kobold gave you. In the meantime, Guild Trader can help you find more urgent cards and thin out your deck. It also has much better stats in case you need to play it in a pinch. I really think this might be a sleeper.
That's a lot of stats for 6 mana, but the problem is that it's 6 mana. Could be a decent inclusion in Evolve Shaman if that ever sees play again.
Evolve Shaman would be the only reason to run something like this, and even if, do we know what mana cost the tokens are at? If they are by default (6)s, it would be fine, but they may be (0) or (1) ... so ... not sold
The Castle Walls cost 2 mana, so even for Evolve Shaman this is mediocre.

Fireball is 4 mana deal 6. For overload (1) you get whatever is left of a 6/4 body and +6 health for your hero. Sure, Fireball can go face where this minion can only deal its damage to minions on the turn it is played, but that's still a good deal in favor of Canal Slogger. Additionally, you can also drop this without rushing it into another minion.

I'm not convinced Shadow Priest will be very prevalent, but still, this will be one of the stronger cards in that deck. The flexibility and face damage of this card makes this a far more powerful card than Condemn in the right deck.

Priests already have so many of these conditional card draw cards. They all look deceptively strong, but in the end they see almost zero play and I can't help but wonder if this card has the same fate. It's called Twilight Deceptor. It's even in its name. But still, it's not difficult for Shadow Priests to do some damage to either themselves or their opponent, so maybe this card is reverse-jinxed or something thanks to its name.

Very powerful control card alongside Lord Barov. I think this will see play in just about every Paladin deck that isn't all about aggro or tempo. Like it a lot!

I'm really curious to see how this works out in Wild alongside the new weapon Counterfeit Blade and Kobold Illusionist. It's also interesting to see if there's still room in that deck for Necrium Blade and Necrium Vial. I think that that deck in the hands of a skilled player might actually be viable.

Absolute trash. Might be the worst card in the set. This isn't really a discover card as most of the time you already know that you want either the secret, weapon, or divine shield minion, so you just take what it offers you. You're not really choosing anything.

This isn't inherently bad, but it's absolutely not in line with want pirates generally want to do, and therefore I hard time envisioning this in any deck.

Darkmoon Tonk, Claw Machine, Carousel Gryphon, Darkmoon Dirigible, and Efficient Octo-bot are all good to great Arena cards and Deeprun Engineer has a pretty good chance of discovering one of them. I think that will make this card a solid Arena card as well. Outside of Arena though, this has no chance of ever getting played.

Bad card. I don't think I ever want to run this over a Defender of Argus.

I don't like it. It might get run in the new quest deck or as a tutor, but man, this has to be one of the most boring cards ever.

It's like Spawn of Shadows for Standard. Might work out in Shadow Priest along with some reach, but probably not.

It's nice that this can go face for if you need some reach, but this is too expensive to be as removal, so all in all a very mediocre card.
