  • It wouldn't be just one person forever, now would it?

  • You're not wrong there, but I also wasn't stating the opposite. I was merely saying that ShtanUdachi's total amount of gold is basically infinite, as he isn't just any player. He usually is #1 on the Europe leaderboard, and if not, very close to the #1 spot and to get there you'll need an average of around 9 or so. The average winrate of the top arena players is, as I assume you already know, solely dependent on the sample size.

And I would 100% encourage F2P players to play arena once they have learned the basic Hearthstone skills in constructed. Not to earn gold necessarily, but to get cheaper packs and increasingly better rewards as you'll inevitably become a better arena player over time. The downside of this method is that you cannot hoard as much gold as possible in order to spend it all whenever there's a new expansion. I usually have around 2 to 3k gold when a new expansion launches. The rest is spend on arena and packs being bought throughout the expansion cycle.

  • Lucky for F2P players Arena is also the best way to earn gold once you can go infinite like ShtanUdachi.

  • Your first 12 wins is exciting. Your first 12-0 is exciting. Getting 12 wins with all classes is exciting. But eventually you get used to it. Probably not with all classes, but I've had my fair share of 12-0. And then suddenly there are achievements and you get excited again because you got to do it all over again. One moment I remember all to well. The achievements where just implemented so I didn't have any 12 wins yet and I was playing the final boss with an 11-0 Demon Hunter. I had lethal in hand, but BANG!, the excitement kicked in again and it made me misplay. I missed lethal and lost the game because of that. Won the next game, so I still got to 12, but this still haunts my dreams sometimes. Since the achievements that has been my only shot at a 12-0, though I'm not playing nearly as much Arena as I used to. Made it to 12 with Demon Hunter, Rogue and Warlock so I still have a long way to go.

  • Desktop version is updating as we speak. But yes, mobile patches are usually a few hours later.

Probably not good enough for a Freeze Mage revival in Wild, yet once the other two mage cards are known, I'm heading into deckbuilding again. If these other two cards are also Frost oriented, and I wouldn't be surprised if they are, it might just work out.

I felt like I was missing a win condition after stuffing in all the Frost related cards in a deck. Maybe just adding the Mordresh Package is enough and the clowns are better swapped out for early game. I thought Mordresh might fit as all the freezes will stall for long enough to deal 10 damage with pings and to get to 10 mana. Anyway, don't think this is any good.

The Wild deck got some extra draw in the form of this new dungeoneer. Don't think it'll change much. Still too slow.

  • I would consider drafting this in Arena if I drafted some weapons already or when I'm still expecting to do so, but that's about it. At 7 mana I don't think this card will ever make it into a constructed deck.

  • This clearly incentivizes you to play a tempo deck, but in Wild there is Pirate Warrior that has no need for this, and in Standard I don't think I've seen a single attempt at tempo Warrior since Forged in the Barrens and this minion is not going to change that. In Arena this is also average at best.

  • Pretty good card in Arena, but it's not what constructed decks are looking for. Imprisoned Gan'arg is simply better.

  • I really hope this card makes Overlord Saurfang playable. Either both see play or neither of them. With the body, the weapon, and the armor you get a lot out of just a single card. I feel like the armor gain is going to be the most important aspect of this card. Getting 8 armor twice can go a long way.

VERY good for control warrior actually. You can buff it with Ringmaster's Baton, ...

You cannot. Ringmaster's Baton does not buff Beasts.

  • I don't know. It looks memey, but shenanigans are certainly possible with this, so shenanigans will probably happen. Only question that remains is if the shenanigans will be any good.

  • Appearantly Darkglare Warlock wasn't already strong enough in Wild. Straight up control decks might want to use this too. A 2 mana Fireball is nothing to scoff at.

  • Solid tempo option for (partly) Elemental Shaman. Along with Primal Dungeoneer, this might make the deck good enough in standard.

  • The way I'm interpreting this the overload definitely stacks as it clearly says recast this, not repeat this. Does that mean this is a worse Lightning Storm? Not necessarily. As Pezman, is already pointing out, this does cost 2 less mana making this card more flexible turn you play it, while the randomness can make planning future turns more difficult. Also, this is not a nature spell making it less likely to be played due to the new Primal Dungeoneer.

  • A 3 mana 2/5 with stealth is reasonable, but the additional effect is not making this a lot better. Just an ok card, not amazing, meaning this probably won't be played in constructed.

  • Super strong Arena card. Your opponent should already be under a lot of pressure when you run out of cards. If you can then follow it up with Stealth minions the victory is usually yours.

  • Priest gets two spell tutors in the same mini-set and generally speaking this is the better one. But where Devout Dungeoneer can easily be played on turn 3, this is less of a curve minion. A preferably friendly character needs to be damaged first in order get what you want out of this card. However, I think the discover aspect is worth this downside.

  • Funniest card of this mini-set as well as best artwork, but is it any good? If there is one thing I've learned throughout my years playing Hearthstone it's to never rule out board clears. Almost all of them have seen play In the past. This one will be tried out for sure, but I don't think it'll stay in any deck for long.

you play around this secret the same way you play around reckoning, which is only seeing play sometimes as a one of, cant see this making paladin any better, maybe it replaces that one copy of reckoning but thats all it will do

    I second this.
