  • I mean...if you'Re playing a deck a deck that can't respond to a wide board in any way of course you're going to lose.

  • if you're going for tempo Teron only really needs one viable target to be good enough, especially since the idea is to copy him with Shadowy Figure.

Play Egg on 2, play Teron on 3 and if he doesn't get dealt with your shadowy him.

The point of the deck is to play deathrattle minions that are inconvenient to remove and then copy them to overwhelm your opponent.

  • press X to doubt

Why not just go full Murloc? You're basically running a deck that risks bricking early and drawing garbage late just to run highlander support, which just isn't worth it.

  • The thing about tempo is that Overload tends to hurt it a lot.

For instance, if you play a Squallhunter and it gets conveniently removed in any way you are automatically behind because you're playing with less mana on the following turn.

Hell, even if it lives you're still handicapping your future turn which is what tempo decks usually use to build on their lead.

What you are building is less tempo and more midrange. You're basically doing the old Hunter strat of just playing on curve until you win the board enough to push facedamage....which was a very inconsistent strategy that doesn't perform well nowadays (play Beast Hunter if you need a demonstration).

Overall you just don't have anything really unfair in your deck and that's the probllem. Decks nowadays rely on big swing turns and you can't provide those.

All an opponent would need to completely derail your gameplan is just play any cheap removal and they already got you on the ropes.

The only tempo Shaman I can see is the Evolve Galakrond build and that's notably subpar (which isn't saying that it can't improve with future support. We've seen Evolve get out of  hand, so there's always potential)

As it stands Shaman doesn't really have much to compete at the moment, but they do have a good baseline to build upon

  • I assume it might be be can't attack, possibly to ensure that Kegs don't get abused in swarming decks one way or another.

  • Well the point of "while damaged" was because there are so many self-damage interactions that aren'T actually Enrage that it was pointless to have a specific keyword that only covers half the cards of the intended archetype

Evasive is just stupid though. Just make it a keyword already, nothing would change

  • Attune seems lazy. It's just the Piltover 2-drop repackaged. Unless there's some card that specifically synergizes with Attune it's a pointless addition.

  • yes yes, I believe she is indeede what would be commonly referred to as E X T R A   T H I C C

  • Totem Shaman is pretty good deck...if your opponent passes his first two turns.

Never played such a feast or famine deck before but it'S pretty hilarious.

At least Shaman has a good base to go into the next expansion with and maybe get some upgrades.

  • good job. It's one of the few decks that can keep up in terms of tempo, but you still need to get a good start or else you're probably doomed.

  • Aggro Demon Hunter

  • unlike Cithria there'S no tribal synergy and in order to proc it turn 1 you need to play another specific card, which puts you at card disadvantage. LoR isn't exactly the game where you just win off of a medium sized 1-drop

  • I wonder why they didn't use Captain Gangplank as the model for the base version. It's clearly supposed to be pre-Burning Tides GP, but they show him with the shoulder pauldron which is a thing he adopted post BT after his arm got blown off.

EDIT: nvm, i guess both are post-Burning tides, they just retconned where his arm was cut off.

  • So because regular Elusives were already so much fun to fight, how about one that also dodges spells?

Well, I guess I made the right choice in quitting after all.

  • This really has to tickle our resident turtle enthusiast

  • why is that. There's only a total of 10 cards drawn in that deck...which is aswarm deck that requires on getting the board early. I don't see how you would ever realistically reach Nomi.

You'd be better off using it in Demon Hunter

  • shush, there's only fish now

Personally speaking, I've always adored Face Hunter and winning games in the lowest number of turns possible.

  • na he's the dick

my advice for you personally is to uninstall the game and learn to have fun. If elusives piss you off so bad, then the real issue is that you get upset over a card game.

says the person throwing a shitfit because people have issues with a certain archetye.

maybe if you can't actually respond to any of the criticism you should just be quiet instead of making yourself look like even more of a fool.
