Good KT fodder for cheating out 10-cost spells
Maybe is my colourblindess but I can't see if this is Druid/Hunter or not.
It is a dual class card, yes.
Not very ultimate but squeeeeee...
probably will see some play ...
5 stars for flavor alone
Alot of people compare this with Fire Fly, but its more comparable to Fallen Sun Cleric, except you can play this for one mana, and choose to hold the other 1/1 in hand.
Lets face it, this is not a 1 drop even if you can drop this for a mere 1/1, its at best a 2 drop that requires a minion to stick, and unless the effect is game ending thats not usually a good sign. Unlike Fallen Sun Cleric, which never saw any play, this one can still count on its lucky stars that it goes wide and the fact that you can go 1 drop, coin into this, might* just be enough to save it from neverplayed land. Maybe in a theoretical beast hunter deck or a token druid deck. Outside of these, its just not very good.
Hunter still needs more 1-drops for midrange if this is to work (at least one more), but it's a good curve filler.
No idea how this fits into Druid. Then again, we haven't really seen that many Druid cards anyways
I think that's the first Infestation Card that's balanced.
Seems like a fair card to me, obvious inclusion for Token Druid. Comparion is Fire Fly, which was really good. I consider Fire Fly stronger though, as you could play it on turn one which is a huge deal especially for aggro decks. Good card, but won't see widespread play probably.
You should consider that the +1/1 is very valuable since it has charge/rush in most cases and allows unexpected value trades etc.
Also, the first half of this card is a 2/2 for 1 mana. The immediate tempo gain is higher than a Firefly.
Finally the cubs are beasts, which probably will be beneficial in future hunter/Druid decks.
My conclusion: Firefly is better on turn 1 but adorable infestation wins the comparison at any other point. This card will definitly se a lot of play.
Edit: the fact that this is a spell may berelevant too! Great spell burst enabler.
3/3 stats for 2 mana... basically a Fire Fly.Fire Fly was a good card, so this should be good´ too.
Fire Fly was really good because you could play it one turn one. You can't play this on turn one. The best scenario for this is to play it on turn two on a one drop. That would be 3/3 in stats for two mana if you play the cub immediatly. That's good but probably not Fire Fly level good. I could be wrong however, one should never underestimate a decent one mana spell.
Though it is true that I think this could be good, I do worry a bit since this can't be used for the turn 1 claim on the board like a Fire Fly could.
Pretty obvious spellburst enabler, druid already had one, but hunter didn't.
Would really like to see the cub token so we could have Bingo with it.
Thanks!
It certainly didn't disappoint!
Well that's cute as hell
We have our cutest card of the set right here!
I want one!
Actually a pretty interesting card. Doesn't make a huge splash but still does a lot of little things to ensure I feel that this card will make some impact down the line.
