Just a few weeks ago we had a round of Twitch pack drops for the Hearthstone Masters Tour and they're back again! Get yourself at least two card packs by watching Hearthstone Esports this weekend.
- Watch three hours of the stream, earn a Rise of Shadows pack.
- Watch six hours of the stream, earn a second Rise of Shadows pack.
Additional, random drops are also available! If you're lucky enough, you can win a Classic Card Pack by simply watching the stream. Each hour the streams are live, Blizzard is giving away 1500 Classic Packs for a total of 58500 packs!
If you're interested, you'll want to login to your Twitch account, go to settings, and then connect your Battle.net account. Remember that drops are only active during the stream and we're going to have more, wonderfully formatted information on the event closer to it.
- Stream is up on July 12, 13, & 14 with 13 hour broadcasting days.
- You can watch from 2 AM - 3 PM PDT.
- For those in the eastern timezone, that's 5 AM - 6 PM EDT.
- CEST folks are looking to watch between 11 AM - 12 AM.
Here's the full post from Blizzard.

Comments
Blizzard should've mentioned the 3 hour gap. It turns out that Asia-Pacific starts at 5:00 am, then when they're done, the stream shuts down until Europe starts at 12:00 pm. Then Americas starts at 3:00 pm. I wasn't paying attention, so maybe they go off air for a bit if Europe is done by 2:00 pm.
Right now is 7:13 AM on July 12th and none of these channels are streaming.
Someone is lying.
I think I got lucky so far...
Hmm.. img doesn't work... https://ibb.co/Tq7NcBJ
3 shadows and 1 classic pack. As a n00b, I do also learn a little watching them.
Can't wait to leave my laptop streaming this while I watch literally anything else. GMs have been a complete trainwreck.
Hi guys! I've a question regarding those classic packs:
They are giving away 1500 classic packs each hour, however, there are 6 different "eligible channels"... so, are those 1500 classic packs shared out between the 6 channels each hour? Or on the contrary, has each channel its own 1500 classic packs to give away each hour?
Just because if it's the second option, then if we enter the channel with less people we'll have more probabilities of getting a free classic pack, won't we?
I don't know the answer, but I'd bet it's 1500 split across all the channels. And actually, Flux said 58500 total packs in his post, which would confirm this.
PlayhearthstoneFR is dead at the moment, nobody wanted to cast, it'a shame.
I usually watch the tournaments on Twitch anyway so these packs are a nice little bonus
Nice Europe hours, finally. Midday until late night, but not even extra late.
I expect getting classic packs again.
I mean "free" packs are free packs, but i find this artificial bloating of viewership as a rather dishonest practice. Id rather they made the tournaments interesting to watch by making the game itself more interesting, not buying views with packs lol ...
You are right, new format is awful, meta is awful (imho ofc). They are buying views with free stuff and portrait for Sham last time, Oh, and they are already said WC will be again on Blizzcon, i think, empty stadium was not cool.
Warrior mirror match cast: HoW LoNg CAn ThIS gO oN?
As long as they are giving away packs happy for it to take as long as they like (it's not like I'm actually watching) :)
Anyone else who still hasn't received the 2 RoS pakcs from the last Twitch drops?
The time for CEST is wrong! In the official website they say from 18.00 to 01.00
But 2 am PT is 11 am CEST.
Heck. You doin me a confuse.
If I look at the viewer count, admittedly only on the main English channel, it is usually around 10-20k viewers. Assuming similar numbers in other regions that's maybe 40-60k people. So the odds should be around 2-3% per hour. But I have never had a classic drop either and watched 10s of hours:-(
Can't go wrong with free stuff.
I've gotten one free classic pack, it's really hard to get those packs lol
