Recap

Shaman reigned supreme in the pick rate as well as winrate stats of the tournament. Especially the control variant was very popular, and players respected its power level as it was also the most banned deck of the tournament based on OffCurve's stats. Imps carried Warlock as the second most popular pick, followed by Mage, Hunter, and Druid. On the other end of the spectrum, Paladin and Demon Hunter were barely participating in the tournament (and with poor winrates based on Battlefy's stats) while Warrior was nowhere to be seen.

Result-based Discussion

After a couple of collectively quiet Masters Tours, the Chinese were back at full force with three players reaching the top 8. APAC gathered another three spots, all of whom advanced to semifinals after a grueling round of hard-fought 3-2 victories, making Asia the most successful region in the tournament.

The final took place between compatriots Tansoku and glory with rather similar lineups. As both players managed to with with Thief Rogue and Implock, it was the battle between glory's Priest and Tansoku's Mage that settled the dispute and crowned Tansoku as the winner of this tour stop.
