It's that time of the month again, where Master Duel adds a new pack to the shop, bringing new archetypes in the game. This time, however, we have two packs, the one you'd expect and another that highlights the archetypes that left some sort of impact during the first year of the game... on the Solo Mode of the game. Both packs will arrive on January 10th. Let's take a look!

Leaving the Shop

As has been the case with Selection Packs, when a new one arrives, an old one leaves. In this case we're talking about Battle Trajectory, which will leave the shop on the 10th, so now's your last chance to nab it.

The game's first anniversary is fast approaching, and Konami is giving us a pack of "greatest hits" from the Solo Mode to warm us up. Those archetypes are... not the greatest, and most also have Secret Packs to get the cards, so this pack might not be worth the Gems, but we'll have to wait and see. Here's a list of cards we know are coming (all of them UR):

To all Duelists

A new Selection Pack has arrived!

There are 2 new additions to Selection Packs!

Date Available:

Jan 10

Additional Packs : Heroic Warriors

New cards are available for "Heroic" and "Vendread," plus new archetypes have arrived: "Therion" and "Libromancer"! Brave warriors, now is the time to assemble!

In addition to UR Therion "King" Regulus, UR Libromancer Fireburst, UR Heroic Champion - Claivesolish, UR Vendread Scavenger, SR Symphonic Warrior Rockks and others will be included.

Recommended Cards (Special Picks)

• UR Therion "King" Regulus

A Level 8 Machine-Type monster that serves as the ace card for the new "Therion" archetype.

If you have a "Therion" monster or a Machine-Type monster in your Graveyard, select one of them to Special Summon this monster from your hand, then attach the chosen monster as an Equip Card. This Special Summoning method is easy to perform—and this is just one of its special characteristics. It also has the powerful ability to negate an opponent's effect by chaining to it. Although this cannot be activated during the Damage Step, it remains an effective way to hinder your opponent's movements.

• UR Libromancer Fireburst

A Level 7 Cyberse-Type Ritual Monster that serves as the ace card for the new "Libromancer" archetype.

If Ritual Summoned using a monster on the field, this monster cannot be destroyed in battle and will inflict double battle damage, making it a force to be reckoned with. The doubled battle damage applies for direct attacks as well as when attacking your opponent's monsters. This monster also comes equipped with an effect that increases its own ATK, so depending on the situation, it has the potential to inflict a massive amount of damage to your opponent in one go.

Additional Packs : Recollection of the Story

The first anniversary of "Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL" is fast approaching. Let' s look back at some of the fascinating archetypes whose stories were featured in Solo Mode!

In addition to UR Erebus the Underworld Monarch, UR Gladiator Beast Heraklinos, UR Shiranui Sunsaga, UR Digital Bug Registrider, UR Demise, Supreme King of Armageddon and others will be included.

Recommended Cards (Special Picks)

• UR Erebus the Underworld Monarch

A Level 8 Zombie-Type monster that shines in "Monarch" Decks.

If this card is Tribute Summoned, you can choose 2 types of "Monarch" Spell and Trap Cards from your hand and/or Deck and send them to the Graveyard, and then return one card from the opponent's hand, field, or Graveyard to their Deck. Since this effect does not target any cards, if other effects are activated in response and the situation changes, you will be able to flexibly select which card to return to the Deck.

When this monster is in the Graveyard, you may use its effect to add a monster in your Graveyard with 2400 or more ATK and 1000 DEF to your hand. You can also add this monster back to your hand from the Graveyard with this effect.

• UR Gladiator Beast Heraklinos

A Level 8 Beast-Warrior-Type Fusion Monster that can be Special Summoned from the Extra Deck by returning 1"Gladiator Beast Laquari" and 2 "Gladiator Beasts" back into the Deck from your Monster Zone.

Not only does it have a formidable 3000 ATK, but also a Quick Effect that you can activate in response to a Spell or Trap Card activation to negate and destroy it.

To negate the Spell or Trap Card activation, you need to discard a card in your hand as a cost. If you have multiple cards in your hand, you might be able to negate Spell and Trap Cards equal to the number of cards in your hand. Note that this effect cannot be activated against Counter Trap Cards.
